Originally, we were looking for an ice cream shop and I happen to spot some people on the street…read moreeating. It looked absolutely delicious so we wandered down to the chocolate shop, not realizing that it's a full chocolate shop with wonderful dipped selections and began our journey there. Many of the chocolates that are served there can be easily paired with your wine tasting because certain chocolates and certain wines go wonderfully together. Dania was so nice and information friendly. She let me have samples which I was totally happy with, and I was definitely able to purchase more items because of this. You look through the windows of the cases you just want to eat eat eat. I also thought it was interesting that they had wine tasting room inside there but you know if you think about it wine and chocolates there's a place for that in your world. The customer service was top-of-the-line and the product was extremely high-quality. I prove that the whole place.

The shop definitely lives up to its name--vintage, small, and cozy. They have a variety of sweets, especially chocolates, on display. They also have other specialty items and pairings. Service is quick and nice. My family did all the ordering since I was with my pup. I got a Mango Tangerine Sorbet, which was refreshing and tangy. They use Double Rainbow Ice Cream. My family got their desserts and enjoyed them. I recommend coming for their chocolates, and I'd be interested in their pairing. Vintage Sweet Shoppe off Main Street is a cute and popular spot for tourists and locals alike. There's free parking in the lot shared with the row of shops.

OMFG! I remember…read moreDouble Rainbow from when I first moved to the Bay Area in my 20s and it instantly became my favorite ice cream. The flavor I remember is called Its A Goodie -- french vanilla with peanut butter and fudge chips. Yup, still awesome! Ok sweeter than my adult palette likes now but hella nostalgic. I paired it with coconut. Not a flavor I remember from back in the day but also an excellent taste. Again, adult me would like a little less sugar and perhaps the crunchiness of the coconut but I'm being picky. Mississippi mud pie seemed like something to try and I'm glad I asked for a taste. Coffee ice cream with a fudge swirl and crushed cookies. Both workers seemed happy and offered lots of suggestions. There's one table inside and a few more outside. They also have some tourist items like tshirts. When I got home, I researched Double Rainbow. There are a few stores left and you can order online (min 8 pints). Just ignore the saturated fat...

To start off, the line situation just isn't ideal, so it would be nice if they put up a rope to help cordon off the line from the payment area, but the service itself was very helpful and friendly and the ice cream barista was able to make the perfect shaved ice for me when I asked for light root beer syrup. My shaved ice was absolutely delicious and I loved their flavor options so I would definitely come back next time we're in Sonoma.

The French Laundry was an extraordinary experience from beginning to end…read more We arrived early and spent some time in the courtyard before being welcomed inside and seated beside the fireplace. What impressed me immediately was how thoughtfully they had prepared for my visit. I use a mobility scooter, and we later learned that the team had discussed my comfort and movement before we even arrived. The seating was perfect, and everything felt completely natural. The service was exceptional. It was precise and seemingly effortless--from the kitchen to the front of house, every detail was executed flawlessly without ever feeling rehearsed or mechanical. And the food was incredible. One of the highlights was a tomato dish featuring ten different varieties, all grown in the garden across the street. Absolutely amazing. At the end of the evening, we were invited into the kitchen, which was an incredible treat and honor. I was struck by how calm, quiet, and immaculate it was. I forgot to photograph the accessible restrooms that night, so we returned two days later. The staff graciously welcomed us back and allowed us to photograph the two large accessible restrooms. The French Laundry is an unforgettable dining experience--not only because of the food, but because of the thoughtfulness, precision, and genuine hospitality behind it. An absolutely wonderful evening.

Feel compelled to write this review. We were there for Cinco de Mayo and the service was impeccable…read moreand the place is beautiful, but I was shocked at the quality of the food. The oysters and pearls were 10 out of 10 . Everything else that followed, was mediocre at best. The most expensive Michelin dinner I've had and by far the worst. The plates that came had no taste in some cases, others seemed prepped much earlier in the day and not fresh made to order. Like at a wedding, premade. Thomas wasn't there and it showed. I heard he is retiring and not selling the place, makes sense. Tasted like it too. What a rip off, that's how me and my wife felt, ripped off paying for a brand that ran its course. Save your money and head to mustards. 1/6 of the price and 10x better!!!
