    Breakfast plates.

The food was good. The service was good. The building was on the cold side. I guess my only real complaint was that a large chocolate milk comes in what amounts to a kiddie cup. For the price, I expected more or maybe a refill at that size.

    Small breakfast

Sweet Sue's county diner on Friday at 8:30 in the morning we had breakfast. Serving sizes are larger than expected so it was fun. Parking wes easy and It's all good.

I cannot believe our luck finding this place! The restaurant we had planned to visit in Geneva turned out to be closed for January and February with no website update. The pancakes alone are worth the visit to Sue's! The description I've seen on other reviews calling it "as big as a hubcap" are not exaggerating. This monster is delivered to you on a serving platter! I ordered a veggie omelette with cheddar, and it was also enormous. At least 4 eggs, well done as I asked, lots of yummy veggies. Full order of perfectly cooked bacon on the side and toast. With coffee our bill came to $21.00!!! Insanely low prices for the amount of food you get! Service was spot-on, even though the same people were cooking. Coffee was refilled several times. Chatted with friendly locals and had a great time during our visit. What a gem!

Sweet Sue's is a homey diner. There's plenty of stools at the counter for the real diner feel. The staff is friendly and efficient The omelettes are ample as , apparently the pancakes are also. Cute place for a quick bite.

Pancakes for days, biscuits and gravy, plus bacon!

Loved this diner. Rolled through on a cycling trip and decided to fuel up for a 40 mile ride that day. The pancakes were epic (local blueberry, yum!). A regular pancake is the size of a pizza (not kidding), the "small" fills a dinner plate. We had the fluffy pancakes, bacon (delish), hashbrowns (get a half unless you're starving), biscuits and gravy (a guilty pleasure and these were perfect). And of course coffee, which in classic great diner fashion never got below half-full. Friendly service and the great food you know you love. Very much worth the 5 mile drive out of town.

Pancake, home fries, eggs, and coffee!

The pancakes are bigger than your head and the homefries are the best I've ever had! We waited about 15 minutes on a table because the place was packed but the food was still quick and the experience very pleasant. You can tell that they put a piece of themselves into this place and its definitely something to be proud of. Everyone was friendly and it's nice and cozy inside. I would absolutely visit again.

2nd time coming here. CASH ONLY BUT ATM INSIDE* The food is great quantities especially when it comes to the homefries. Even as a big guy Id only order 1/2 order or share a whole order with someone. This place is a blue collar, hard working mans diner. Older crowd, hunters etc. Nothing super impressive except the food. Grandma and mother would be proud. If you wanna get full on the cheap, come here.

Good for a change of pace. Cost wise is not bad at all. Expect to bring something home. Small diner. At max two cooks behind the counter and then some waitresses. Seat yourself. A whole order of home fries is overkill. Hubby and I split an order. The sausage, eggs, pancakes, French toast, steak ...whatever are cooked on the same grill. The foods are not really seasoned, so if you like flavoring you have salt n pepper and jelly or syrup. Use it or make the food yourself at home.

I ordered an omelet and didn't quite expect what they handed me, but it was super good (it was more like a scramble than a traditional omelet). Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.
