Mother's Day PRIME RIB AND LOBSTER TAIL! both cooked to perfection!

I almost don't want to write this for fear they will be busier! This place is a hidden gem! Great Service, Fantastic Food and you cannot beat the quality for the price! They are so accommodating and welcome you even when they are bursting at the seams. We've been so much we are apart of the regulars. Trust me it's amazing!

Down home place with great food. The calamari is out of this world and you get a really large portion. Service was great and they were slammed, but wait staff looked out for other tables as well which was nice. Never wanted for water. The entree had great flavor and even though it was on the small side, it was enough. I definitely don't need leftovers.

Excellent find. Old school style, family biz values. Really good stop! A bit off the interstate but well worth the 8 minutes. Lots of good things to relate. Artichoke hearts a must. Great ambiance. Steak very well prepared. Escarole a welcome option to normal fare. Even the side salad went the extra mile with excellent little additions. Staff welcoming and friendly. Denise was all that any diner could ask for in a server. Thank you!!

Really enjoyed this restaurant, which reminded me of a place way back in time. I would have rated it five stars except for the semi-stale bread served upon being seated. I loved the railroad vibe, decor and music (a mix of Frank Sinatra and seventies). I ordered a vodka tonic, which appeared in record time and was generously poured. We started with a Cesar salad, sprinkled with plenty of cheese. My husband had a French onion soup he devoured. It seems the chef has specialty dishes and I had read in reviews that the mussels were one of them. I ordered muscles over linguine, served with thin and tasty tomato sauce...ahhh...it reminded me of dishes I had in NJ as a kid. The mussels were Divine, clean and cooked to perfection. My husband had the gnocchi, freshly made and wonderfully light. I am so happy we ordered dessert. We had an Italian lemon cake that was excellent. Next time we are on our way to Canandaigua, we will be sure to make this our go-to stop.

Very good bartender. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Food arrived to the table hot. The décor & furniture outdated & old but you go to the Depot for the food. I would return. Busy for Friday night dinner.

I was very impressed with this fine establishment. It is definitely a hidden gem, located in the village of Shortsville NY a stone's throw from Canandaigua. It offers genuine, reasonably-priced Italian home cooked meals, and one of the most welcoming restaurants you could visit in the Finger Lake area. The attentive service, food quality and atmosphere are exceptional --- and well worth a visit. Try the veal parmigiana, linguini and clams, or chicken and biscuits special which were all outstanding. Dave, Connie and the Depot 25 team are a truly warm, dedicated and inviting group of seasoned professionals.

Device was too quick. But pleasent. Drinks are very good. Atmosphere was dark but nice. Not what you expect. Salad was out of this world. I will be going back for that. Tje appetizer I ordered was nice but lacked flavor. Very fresh tomatoes and bread. My husband was not happy with the Onion soup. I did not try it do to it looked like chicken broth. I did try his steak. I dis not like it was too tough.my husband said he enjoyed it non the less. My main dish lacked flavor as well. Could of had more seasonings. It was a vodka sauce. It looked very good!. Over all I would not recommend getting NYS steak. I will go back for there salad. Pepproni fresh sliced cheese. Hot pepper olives just wow. And the dressing was house made creamy Italian. Yummy. This is a nice little place and you would never guess it was there unless you GPS it! Enjoy

The prime rib was excellent. Service was good despite being busy. A casual, historic setting. Prices are moderate. Recommend.

I ordered an omelet and didn't quite expect what they handed me, but it was super good (it was more like a scramble than a traditional omelet).
