I found Elizabeth here on Yelp, and we were immediately impressed by her. We loved her warm personality and how she really listened to us as we described what we were looking for in a wedding cake. I'm not very creative so trusted her judgement and supplied her with an inspiration photo of a cake as well as a photo of what my flowers were going to look like. We had discussed design a couple of times prior to the big day, but I didn't know what the final product was going to look like until the day of our wedding. I was blown away by my cake. The style was perfect, the handmade edible flowers were so beautiful, some people thought they were real. The cake was so delicious, and we had plenty of left overs to share with family the following day. I would have to say that of all the details of my wedding, the cake was by far one of my favorites. We had a small wedding, only 50 people, but I wanted a grand cake and that is exactly what I got! SOOO very pleased! I would highly recommend Sweet Tales for your next event. I can only say nothing but awesome things about Sweet Tales Boutique. I called to get a custom cake done. A custom Birthday cake for my special Love that lives in Lowell. My husband and I decided to visit Elizabeth at Sweet Tales after seeing pictures of the amazing work she has done. We went for a cake tasting and absolutely fell in love! not only were we getting a beautiful presentation, but exceptional taste as well! We booked her on the spot. She was prompt with returning calls, and sending me reminders and staying in touch as we got closer to our wedding date. I sent her a picture of a Ron Ben Isreal cake my husband and I fell in love with. Our hope was to get at least something similar to that look. Day of wedding, I walked into the reception hall and there was my cake....EXACTLY like the picture and EXACTLY as I asked!! All my guests raved about its "wow" factor as well as how good it tasted!! I wanted everything to be perfect for my best friends bridal shower. I live closer to boston so I contacted Sweet Tales mostly through email. I must say, Elizabeth was amazing through the whole planning process. Just from her emails I knew this was her passion. Very attentive to my requests and she just knew how to make appropriate recommendations based on my event details. I expected it to be wonderful and trusted her from our fist conversation. Contracting Elizabeth at Sweet Tales for our wedding cake was one of the best decisions we made for the entire event! The cake itself was gorgeous - simple, elegant, and perfect. I highly recommend the out-of-this-world tasting lemon drop cake flavor (we needed two tiers of that), as well as the very tasty tiramisu-inspired flavor. Elizabeth was also able to contact a colleague that specializes in gluten-free baking for my guests with celiac disease. In addition to the main cake, we had a half dozen matching gluten free vanilla cupcakes. Everything was perfect, and the service was professional and flawless! I live in Atlanta and was planning my sisters baby shower in Dracut. I found Sweet tales online and was immediately impressed by Elizabeth. I had a very specific vision in my head and I must have exchanged at least 20 emails with her. When the day came and we picked up the cakes I was simply amazed. They were perfection, actually better than what I had in my head. We had 11 cakes in total with three different flavor combination. They were the highlight of the shower, not only did they look amazing but they were literally the best cakes I had ever tasted. I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough. I found Sweet Tales on Yelp. We needed a small cake for our daughter's first birthday, and Sweet Tales delivered it well. I found Elizabeth very responsive to all of my requests I had about decorating the cake. We went with vanilla strawberry and peach cake decorated with buttercream. Our daughter loved trying out the cake for the first time and our guests also complimented on how delicious it turned out! Two thumbs up! I went to this bakery and ordered French macaroons for a holiday party a few months back. I was extremely impressed not only by the presentation but also by the variety and flavors of macaroons they offer. I have lived in Paris in the past, and I will attest that these were the real deal! These little treats are extremely laborious to make, and not everyone has the abilities to execute them properly. They did a great job, and the macaroons were a huge hit at the party.
