Her response to my receipt message. I simply stated the downpour of rained caused us to leave after 15 min and we wanted to stay longer

If I could give zero stars I would. The owner is so rude and lacks the customer service skills you would expect from a business owner. I went w family on opening weekend to get some pumpkins for my home and work. We knew it might sprinkle that day and had umbrellas but it was a small chance for rain so we went. To my surprise it was $25 just to enter which is ridiculous but we drove out there so I paid it m. they have gorgeous pumpkins and I heard good things but the owner tarnished it all. I responded to their receipt (not in public) about the rain and my service dog who was in the car. I also wanted to buy more pumpkins but the rain just wouldn't allow it. I said it would be nice if maybe they gave us a pass for another day because we had to leave after 15 min. I would return to get more had they made that offer The owner responded so rudely. Saying the rain passed in 23 min, that my dog barked uncontrollably etc etc. all lies. The rain was off and on for 2-4 hours. I can handle some rain but it was a down pour and everyone packed up and left. Also my 8 lbs dog barked when the kid at the gate came to the window and she only barked once!! She's a service dog and is with me all of the time. Then the owner made some weird comment about us parking outside of the gate which we didn't! We drove inside and parked. She made a comment about checking her website before hand which I did and it said nothing about service dogs, weather or anything weird. I specifically looked and went to their "contact us" page prior - but whatever - her farm isn't the only farm of this kind and there are several that are equally great farms in the area. I was legit shocked by how she attacked me. I wasn't negative or rude in my initial "private" comment. I won't be returning and I'll make sure others are warned before going. Wish I was warned. Also I didn't text her I responded to a receipt I never gave her my cell or agreed to be texted or harassed like this. When I said I would just go to yelp she suddenly got nice and stopped texting me. I don't post on yelp because I hate the purpose of it - however I feel I need to post this (and I noticed there was another post similar to mine) in hopes that the owner will treat all of her clients with respect and kindness.

All the activities are more geared for little ones, but was somewhat blind sided by how much it was going to cost! I didn't see any mention on their website. Pulled up to the entrance and told it was $25 for parking and 2 rides. I drove quite a ways out so I did end up paying it. Not sure it was worth the money, felt that 15-20 would be. The only downside was the hay ride, it was super rickety and felt like I was gunna fall off. All the other activities were very cute and perfect for photos

Great scenery. Not much to do on the day that me and my family went. My son enjoyed the animals but outside of that not much left.

I think they may also have a berry patch, but I haven't been for that. Mountain Brook Ranch is a great place to bring the family to enjoy some time outdoors and to pick fruit fresh from the tree. It is easy to spot from the road, and has a lovely farm stand right next to a gravel parking area. Depending on the season, the farm stand has jams and the seasonally fresh/ripe fruit ready for you to buy if you don't want to pick your own. They also have buckets and pruning shears to cut the fruit off the trees available for those who want to pick their own. Please note that usually only certain trees or rows are available to pick from, depending on which trees have ripe fruit and which trees they are saving for other things. Surrounded by beautiful rolling foothills, this is a great family activity, and a great place to take photos while you enjoy time outside. Follow them on Facebook to get updates on when they'll be opened and when fruit is ready. And bring cash or check, as they do not accept credit cards.

He even walked with us over to the pomegranate trees to help us! We got to sample some of the pomegranates that were already splitting on the trees and we were sold! Sweet and juicy regardless of the size (with some variation of course) but overall we bought about 60 pomegranates and it was the best decision of the week! Highly recommend bringing the family while they offer U-pick!

We were first greeted by a man and he told us where to park. Super nice and let us know what to expect at our visit. They have lots of chickens! My baby and so many other kids there loved it. We then moved over to check out our four legged friends. There was a cow, 2 donkeys, and many goats! They aren't shy and will come up to the gate and meet you. Super neat for the little ones to see. The third area we checked out is their pumpkin patch. They have beautiful displays of pumpkins of all colors! Lots of decors for you and your family to take some pictures and capturing some beautiful memories. You can walk over to where the pumpkin grows and purchase some if you like. Support local! If you're looking for some freshly cut flowers to take with you home, you can go cut some at the farm. I believe they are $40 for a bucket! Finally, you can check out where they sell goat cheese from the goat milk they get from the farm. At the pumpkin patch you and your family can hitch a hay ride for free. By far my favorite pumpkin patch I've ever been too. When I went there were food trucks which made it convenient for family to grab some bites if they are hungry. Restroom was also open for attendees.

Upon arrival an older gentleman stopped our car and explained to us all they had to offer. My son was extremely excited to find out they had baby goats, chickens and donkeys there. The farm is really big and everything is well spaced out if you're concerned about being around a lot of people. We checked out the animals first. The baby goats were so adorable. Then the chickens were in their own area and it was really cool to see their eggs too. After that we went to the barn area were they had vendors selling home made crafts and desserts. We got some yummy rice crispy treats that were really big for only 3 bucks. Outside of the barn they had little tractors set up for kids and a cute seating area to take your fall pumpkin patch pics. Beyond that area they had picnic tables and tons of other cute spots to take photos. We were informed you could pick a pumpkin from any of the areas they had pumpkins or actually go into the field to pick a pumpkin. I'd suggest wearing a good pair of shoes because it's a huge dirt area. My son went crazy and filled our cart with lots of little pumpkins. They are very reasonable priced too. We paid 22 dollars for 12 little pumpkins. Most places charge per pound but they actually have set prices. After picking pumpkins we went to get lunch from the food truck they had out there. First I had to stop and buy cheese from their farm. I got a Brie and some pomegranate jelly. It was a really great combination. The lady selling the cheese sells charcuterie boxes too. Not anything big but a snack size to have something while relaxing at the farm. We had a very fun filled day and appreciate Yelp for the pass. So if you're in the area definitely check out this farm. Oh yeah they're starting to have dinners there on certain nights too. It's Beautiful farm with lots to do.

You can't miss it! It was not too busy when we got there so there was plenty of parking. When you arrive you may freely walk into the farm and look at what they've got going on. I'm writing this in October, 2025 and the sunflowers we're growing and some were on the way out. There was a wonderful corn maze that is mainly for small children. It is attached to the pumpkin patch where the pumpkins are reasonably priced. there are a few varieties to choose from. in the pumpkin patch is the cutest little photo opp. there are a few of those around the farm. there is a fruit stand with tables and a store you can walk into to buy fresh and dried fruit. there is also merch and drinks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. we walked around and saw their goats who they call the "dutch bros" which i thought was so cute. you can feed the goats for a fee. i think it was $5? they also had a few games set up for the kids to play. visiting the stand made for a day of fun! being that it is so close to the kings river, we stopped there on the way back home. it was a great day!

However, I do want to clarify that this was brought to a staff member's attention while we were on-site. Unfortunately, my concern was dismissed at the time as a harmless snake, despite the very visible characteristics of a juvenile rattlesnake--specifically, the segmented rattle at the end of the tail, which is seen in the photo attached. I completely understand that bull snakes are often confused with rattlesnakes, but this particular snake had a true rattle--not just tail mimicry. I verified this with a wildlife expert before posting, and I stand by the identification. My only goal in sharing this is to ensure that families--especially those with young children--are fully aware that rattlesnakes can be present, even in family-friendly spaces. I'm glad signage is being considered, and I truly hope it helps others stay safe.
