The dude and I came to the Clovis Farmers Market on 4/18/20 and 5/16/20. We came a lot during summer 2019 as well and before COVID-19 shut downs. During summer Months farmers Market is Friday's and Saturdays. We have met so many amazing vendors which my favorite is the honey vendor! Sweet just like her honey and organic honey no sweetners straight from the comb. Delicious! Wild flower and Orange Blossoms are my favorite! There's also vendors that sell cherries during Cherry season, almonds of various flavors and in candy form too! Very sweet vendors too! Plethora of vegetables and fruits to choose from. They have music going, street blocked off A LOT of businesses that were once closed now open again. Some vendors were selling masks too! Although about 20% of people were wearing masks A LOT wasn't. Since Clovis lifted their stay at home orders and not enforcing some measures it was packed in the farmers market. They did have hand washing stations and hand sanitizers. Overall, I love going to the Farmers Market to find yummy treats and support local businesses and the community. Overall, ALL vendors were wearing masks and gloves. However no one was practicing social distancing so if you don't mind that definitely come out and support your local farmers market!!! read more

So fun! I went this morning and loved it! A variety of local farmers, bakers, gardeners, all sorts of vendors. There's drinks and food all in the heart of old town Clovis. Today I bought a delicious hot honey, bread, dried fruit, and jam. I had a great time and can't wait to go back! Fun for all! Adults and kids will love it. Lots of street parking. Super nice vendors. Big assortment of artisans selling there products. Sourdough B has the best bread in the area. Knife sharpening from Blade Buddy. Beef jerky, honey and even fresh made lemonade. Good family fun on Friday night. read more

I've always enjoyed the Friday Clovis Farmer's Market! It is one of my favorite in the Valley. Booths sell vegetables, fruits, nuts, crafts, and some food vendors with live music! We came later in the evening when it was much cooler. I haven't gone in awhile and glad I was able to come out to get some steps in! It's family friendly and very cute for a date night as well! Maybe not many booths from the past couple yrs wreaking havoc on small businesses, but this is the saddest disappointment of Clovis. With such a big ag community too, many farmers skip out here because our markets are kind of terrible and they can make more in other communities. If you've ever been to the Bay's CFMA markets, you'll realize how much our area is truly missing out on. There's no info booth, but it's not necessarily needed when there's only 2-3 stands for actual farm fresh food and a very short/small market itself. Majority booths here are handmade goods, which if the organizers want to have at a FARMERS market, fine, but with the ratio of handmade goods to food, don't call it a farmers market. Riverpark market is no better, half are food trucks. I hope CFMA expands back out here. Clovis deserves so much better than this... read more

This farmers market is replete with colorful produce (i.e. all manner of veggies), ample varieties of fruits (i.e. peaches, plums, strawberries, blueberries and cherries), farm raised eggs (both chicken and duck), jewelry (mostly silver and other costume pieces), fashion items (scarves, hats, tshirts) and live music too! Plus, there are food trucks, with delicious hot offerings like Middle Eastern fare and Fresno's famous tri-tip sandwiches. Coming down here is a great way to end the week. They set-up every Friday (during Spring & Summer) from 5:30pm-9pm. Bring cash, a reusable bag for your fresh purchases, your appetite and a lawn chair (to sit and enjoy the music, food and people watching). I've been to farmers markets up and down the state of California, and this is by far my favorite. Fresh tomatoes, onions, asian veggies(long beans, broccoli rabe, lemongrass, bok choi, etc), berries, watermelon, honey, nuts, and stone fruits are plentiful and delicious. I love the fact that most of the food sold is picked the same day, and from regions that I could plot on a local map. I bring my husband along so he can help carry our weekly supply of fresh fruits and veggies. After we have made our purchases, we stop by one of the side street vendors for our Friday night dinner. Some of Fresno County's best is represented here, and usually, you can find fresh lumpia, carne asada nachos, pizza, roasted corn, and more pastries than one could want. Each year, they have several theme nights celebrating a local crop (pistachios, raisins, peaches, etc). These nights are especially fun. I also love the live music! I can't believe that it took me so long to discover this gem..but once I did, I became an instant regular! read more

I enjoy the Old Town Clovis Farmers Market on Friday nights. Not to be mixed up with the smaller one that happens on Saturday mornings. The one to go to is the one on Friday nights. Make sure you check out the website for the schedule to make sure it is going on. The one on Friday is very family friendly and great vibes all around. A lot of vendors and live music. The kids will enjoy dancing that a lot of people partake in. It's a great way to spend a Friday evening and have dinner at one of the local restaurants there. Or if you just want a nice place to walk and people watch, it's also a good place to do so. Each year it gets bigger and better. read more

Love the Clovis farmers market. There is always plenty of parking, police for safety and a lot more booths than the farmer market in riverpark. It has a very cute feel to it with all the shops also open. And the whole street is blocked off for safety. read more

The most amazing thing I love about this farmers market is the huge variety of things at this old town clovis market. It also features a live band that creates a lively atmosphere as you shop. Also at this farmers market you would find: 1. Fresh eggs (ducks and chickens) 2. Flavored Milk (Root beer, chic, strawberry) 3 Fresh squeezed juice (orange) 4. fresh seasonal vege and fruits from the ballet farms 5. artisan nuts and cheeses 5. Well, first time out in a year? We always liked I have entertainment they were just bad! There just happened to be a guy singing Sinatra a few doors down that we really enjoyed. It was small and quaint and it was really nice being with all the people, kids, dogs, smiling faces. read more

Farmers Markets are easy to love, so I'm not going to try to fight it. The entirety of Clovis seemed to be out for this, and everyone was having fun eating, listening to live music and buying things. Bravo, Clovis. It was lovely. read more

This farmers market runs Friday evenings from May through September and takes up a three-block area (between 4th St. and Pollasky, I believe) in downtown Clovis. I prefer this market to others in the area not only because it's close to home, but also because its focus is on fresh produce. Other markets seem to focus on coffees and teas, dried fruits, nuts, honeys and the like - which is totally fine - but I'm looking for in-season fruits and veggies (and lots of 'em) when I'm shopping at a farmers market. The Old Town farmers market has these in spades, in addition to the stuff I already mentioned. In addition to what's on offer, the Old Town Farmers has live music during the market. It's local talent, and the musicians seem to know most of the audience. It adds neat touch to my shopping experience, but I wouldn't drive here just to listen to the bands. Be warned, Old Town is closed to car traffic on market night. There is parking on the side streets, but there have been times I've had to hike a few blocks from my car to the market. I don't mind this, but some might find it off-putting. read more

The selection of fresh produce is great here, and there is usually a booth selling Hawaiian shaved ice, of which I am a fan. And it's the real Hawaiian shaved ice, not the snow cone variety. Moving on ... music or dancers or some sort of entertainment takes place on the street and the last time I went, there was a mini-VW bug car show, which was fun to check out. Non-produce vendors also set up to distribute info on things like solar energy, insurance, etc., too. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out on a lazy Friday evening in Clovis. read more

OKay, I don't give many 5 stars out....but hey, I'm a Clovite aren't I? I'd say I'm set in my Clovis ways. Everyone was so nice...."excuse me..." "No, excuse me"...."May I help you?" Why, yes-you may. That sort of place. If that kind of behavior offends you, then Clovis Farmers Market isn't for you. I'm jus say'in. I found the best food there, I even picked up a big bag of kettle corn. Gotta love the kettle corn! My favorite vendor even picked some green tomatoes for me!!! Who's the best?!!! She is!!! Oh and I love the Asian vendors with the fresh cut long beans, squash vines and green onions. My oh my, those peaches are to die for...can you say peach pie? Well, there so much there to see and they have fun bands and family gathers and everyone dances around .... you get the picture? So come, don't come....frankly it's the best kept secret so don't come because it's crowded enough. I kind of want everyone to enjoy and relax, shop and be happy. Meet new friends and see old ones. The Clovis Farmers Market has been around since long before farmers markets became hip, but I hadn't been back since I was a teen. On a recent trip to visit my family in Clovis, we decided to see how it compares to the Bay Area markets we frequent. Great: -This is a warm evening style market! Bay Area markets usually take place during the morning. The Clovis market has a much more "night out" feel to it. -Live music--on a stage and in multiple areas throughout Old Town. Poor Man's Poison, the featured band the night we went, was surprisingly good! They could easily hold their own up in the city. -Interesting variety of cheap produce. -A lot of the Old Town stores stay open for business until the market closes at 9pm. Not as Great: -Not much organic produce at all. -A night time market with no beer?? It was too hot for a beer-less evening. -Not as many artisan food options. -Only open during the summer months! Overall, this is a fun experience. If you happen to be in Clovis on a Friday night in the summer, check it out! read more

I just happened to be in town and stumbled upon this while eating at a nearby restaurant. I'm a big fan of farmers markets and this one was definitely one of the bigger ones I've been to. I didn't realize there were even that many people in Clovis, lol. Lots of vendors, live music, and food. Definitely check it out if you live nearby or you are in the area. read more

This is a Friday night standard for our family! You won't find fresher produce and they always have great music and lots of fun. Most of the produce runs $1.00-$1.50/lb and was picked same day. This is one of my two favorite farmer's markets. The fruits and vegetables previously were really expensive most likely because of lack of competition at this farmer's market; however, recently there's been more competition, so the prices have gone down. I can get peaches, tomatoes, and onions for around $1 per lbs. There's a lot of nice selection at this farmer's market (though this varies depending on the week). The first Friday it was open, they had a car show that is awesome. They seem to always have some sort of musical performance every Friday. It is sometimes tough to find parking, but if looking around long enough, it usually avails itself. It is open May through September every year. read more

Clovis does the best job in the area with this farmers market. Live band, variety of hot foods, entertainment and amazing selection of fruits, veggies, nuts, and anything else. I stock up once a week on the veggies and fruit for my weekly prep, smoothies meals etc. They have the best fresh orange juice I've ever had there and they always seem to be bringing in new vendors to surprise you. The prices are extremely fair for the quality of food your getting so bring your sack a friend and do some healthy shopping. There is a huge selection of local farmers and ranches so if you do have a favorite you could probably bet they will be there. The one on Saturday is a little smaller but the Friday one is the one to go to!! read more
