Silver Bakery is very close to the Cozy Inn and Mountain Gate family restaurants but there's NO SIGN, so if you're not looking for it you won't notice it's there. I can't imagine they make a living from walk-ins buying a pastry or two, so they must do most of their business in wedding cakes and catering. Their prices are fair ($3 - $4 per cupcake) and the people attending the store have been pleasant on each of our stops. There is no place to sit and I did not see that they offered hot beverages. So it is strictly a place to pick up your treats and go. The location is a little tricky. The only reason we found it the first time we stopped was due to the fact that we were moving between Chick-fil-A and Starbucks. Otherwise, it's tucked away a little bit and not easy to notice on a casual stop when visiting the establishments that comprise the major attractions at this exit (fast food and gas). But it's worth the stop if you know it's there.
