I have been in this diminutive establishment twice and have found it a great place to get gourmet cupcakes. On our last stop, we tried the Cinnamon Roll Cupcake, the S'mores Cupcake and the Kitchen Sink Cupcake. All were amazing, especially the loaded Kitchen Sink variety. Their prices are fair ($3 - $4 per cupcake) and the people attending the store have been pleasant on each of our stops. There is no place to sit and I did not see that they offered hot beverages. So it is strictly a place to pick up your treats and go. The location is a little tricky. The only reason we found it the first time we stopped was due to the fact that we were moving between Chick-fil-A and Starbucks. Otherwise, it's tucked away a little bit and not easy to notice on a casual stop when visiting the establishments that comprise the major attractions at this exit (fast food and gas). But it's worth the stop if you know it's there. read more

They had a variety of cupcakes even though I arrived 5 minutes before closing. I chose the one with salted caramel frosting , of course. I chose the vanilla cake vs. the chocolate. I loved the frosting, but the cake itself was pretty ordinary. Not that ordinary is bad, I just thought it would of had a stronger vanilla flavor. Mommy is missing the magic. The red velvet cupcake had little to no cream cheese. It kind of tasted like plain sugar icing. The lemon cupcake had a slight tinge of lemon. I have never gotten a custom cake with any kind of 3D features/toppings because they are always overpriced however I really wanted a fun barnyard themed cake for my 3 year olds birthday party. I walked in Mommy Magic Cakes on Saturday, got a half dozen cupcakes. The flavors sounded interesting. Looking around, nice and clean. Everything is nice and new. Decorated homey, very cute. Asked if they did wedding &/or wedding cakes. Yes the young counterperson said, then yelled "Mom can you come here?" Underage help? I waited around for 5-10 minutes. Talked to the owner. Asked a few questions. Can you do something like a four or five tiered cake? No, only ever do 3. Delivery, sure but not a big cake. Can you design it this way (Pinterest find) ? No I can't do that. Ok so can you make a shower cake? Yes! Awesome can I order it now? No, go on and email us what you would like. Okay..... I am standing here right now and your sending me away to order my cake? Yes! That's how we take orders. Okay.... It is grto have a close location to get cakes. Yes! I'm so excited to go eat the cup cakes. Cupcake rating D- not so great. The icing was just okay, the cake texture was grainy. Cup cakes decorated with a piece of candy (juvenile) even though the had upscale names. Salted Caramel, and some fruity flavors. I was in contact with Mommy Magic Cakes thru emails for 6 days. I answered their questions with regard to my order. This began on March 23rd. On Monday I was contacted by email that they can not fulfill my order because they did not know the date and are no longer taking orders. I questioned how they could not know the date and found an email with the date listed in the subject line. However, I made a mistake and typed their email address on that email as mommie instead of mommy. Therefore, they never received that email. My mistake and I apologized for that. But I did tell her the date of the wedding that was to be printed on the cookie. On an email with the correct spelling. Wouldn't that be rather obvious as to when I need the cookies? Who would want wedding cookies with a date on them after or before the event? Any way, I just received an email from them accusing me of altering an email and they are creating a file on me any turning it over to their attorney! I will never put myself thru this stress again just trying to order cookies! read more
