Had breakfast this morning 8/4/2026. Everything about Sweet Toast Cafe is heads above most breakfast spots! The greeting by the restaurant owner (or manager) was welcoming. The restaurant is spotless, our waitress Hannah was great: cheerful & efficient and the food was really good. There were three in our party and we all enjoyed our food. I mentioned to my mom that I wanted Gluten free pancakes and she suggested I try Sweet Toast, then she decided she wanted to come too. She had been with her girlfriends the day before for lunch and wanted to come again. (If that is t a glowing recommendation I don't know what is). She got the yogurt parfait and said it was perfect. Service could have been way better. The waitress was the most unfriendliest person and made our dining experience one of the worst. The waitress brought the check out as soon as the food was dropped off and never came back to check in. When we asked another server for water, the server poured water into a used juice glass cup we had on the table. We really wish the service would have been up to par with the food. Although there aren't many places with vegan pancake options in the area and these were one of the best tasting, we won't be coming back again because of the service. read more

Very decent size portions. We were able to only eat half and take the rest home. My husband had the Georgia Skillet bowl. It had lots of sausage and chicken and the Sunnyside up eggs were cooked perfectly. Came with side of pancakes. Which were thick and soft. Soaked up the syrup very nicely. I had the country crepes. They were like 2 burritos size stuffed crepes. Crepes were sweet and the sausage and gray is homemade and delicious. Had a good balance of sweet and savory. Coffee was really good too and had a variety of creamers to choose from. They actually offer almond and oat milk. You get exactly what you pay for in terms of quality in food and portion sizes. The service was unfortunately lacking and our waitress had a large part in watering down our experience. So far, the best breakfast place in Naperville. At this point, I have tried pretty much everything on the menu. Items of note are the chilaquiles and corn masa benedict with chorizo! Staff and owners are very friendly and they come to talk to us every time we come in. We never need to wait to be seated. Coffee is excellent and they leave a pot at the table! Also, the ability to scan the QR code on the receipt to pay makes it a breeze to leave when we have to. Sweet toast is doing all the right things. We will be regulars for life! read more

I have been going to Sweet Toast for about a year now. I ordered a $6.25 caramel latte that was listed as a special. When the waitress asked what kind of milk I wanted it with, I said almond. She suggested oat milk because she said she had the latte and it was much better with oat milk. I said Ok, oat milk it is. Coffee is always a hit or miss so I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and asked for the eggs to be cooked medium and it was, another plus! It was very good. It came with farmer potatoes which was very good, it had a seasoning which was good, cooked well, browned and tasty. My friend ordered the classic and she liked her meal. Hence it took me quite some time to make a decision. Comfort food is what I wanted. It would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy my comfort food but there was only a few tables set up and they were all occupied. The decor is the typical farm new but made to look vintage pieces. Tractors and some other random pieces including plush were scattered around the large open space. The pancakes including the speciality pancakes came out well after the entree was served. The server was very polite and friendly and apologetic that it took longer for the pancakes to come out. Everything was fine but the wait for the take hone containers took a long long time that I think our server forgot about it. I had to ask a different server after waiting too long. The food was good and the portion size was too. I'll return again I'll just covid my food next time so I don't have to wait for a to go container. read more

First of all, this place has great, warm, attentive service. My water was refilled often and my waitress checked in several times to see if anything was needed. The food was cooked to order. I had the croque monsieur which is basically a grilled cheese meets french toast. I do wish that they did not put the delicious jam directly on top of the sandwich, as it gets kind of goopy. Please serve it on the side to dip in. The poached eggs were perfectly poached. Prices were reasonable considering the generous portion size, though it would be great if it came with a side like fruit. We will definitely be back to try the mini donuts. read more

We are a regular at Sweet Toast on Saturday mornings. We hardly ever have to wait, they have a lot of tables and service is very quick. If I'm coming with a big group, I usually call ahead and they have a table waiting for us. The food is always tasty and it's never salty which we really appreciate. Some of my favorites to order are the honey biscuits and the sweet potato skillet. They are very kid friendly and one of my favorite things about this place is they always clean the high chairs!!!!
