    Chorizo breakfast tacos. Amazing!
    Randy G.

Wonderful breakfast spot in Downers Grove, Illinois. Chorizo breakfast tacos are wonderful! Filled with Chorizo, cheese, onion, cilantro, and jalapeños. Really, really good. My wife had the pumpkin pancakes. She loved them! Service was great. Food came out fast and hot. Nice little cafe experience. Really nice place.

Stuffed French toast and one of the basic options

This was a last minute breakfast spot that my husband found. Looks small on the outside but had alot of room on the inside. They were busy but not busy enough where we had to wait. The service was great. The food was delicious. The French toast was alot bigger than I thought so make sure you come hungry. My husband got one of the basic options. Again lots of food but all great. Everything was fresh! The food came out quickly so we didn't wait long to dig in. Definitely a cute little place that you can make your usual breakfast spot!!

The staff was welcoming, I tried the Mariachi. It wasn't terrible but it was just a lot going on so if you're a cheese lover this is for you. The pancakes were a 10/10. Great taste, establishment is clean. The vibe is very chill nothing loud.

Baked apple large size. So good!

Super sweet owner and servers! Great service and great food! The baked apple pancake was delicious. Corned beef hash was tasty but wished there was larger chunks of beef. Would return!

I ordered delivery paid $7.50 for a Mocha Latte tasted like a watered down nothing. And this is how much was in the small cup.

    German pancake

7 am on New Years Eve. Great service. Server did a great job of keeping my coffee full--not an easy task considering how much I drink! I had the German pancake, which was served nice and hot. Delicious. Cakier than most German pancakes, but still yummy. Hubby had scrambled eggs and sides of fruit and pancakes. Everything was good. Eggs were hot, pancakes were warm (not hot enough to melt the butter). Fruit was fresh (nice portion). Very friendly staff. Plates quickly cleared by one person, check picked up by another. True team effort. Will return.

I wanted to review this place so I remember it when in the area. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Stand outs: the flavorful chicken tortilla soup, creative kids' menu and coloring sheet, and friendly service. The menu is extensive, and the panini came with a heaping serving of pasta salad. Nice family friendly restaurant that we found via Yelp! Thanks again Yelp.

I loved this place before so I was disappointed in my Eggs Benedict ... I ordered them over potato cakes and sausage... the sausage was so very bland, the eggs were hard poached and the hollandaise was way too thick and bland... As much as I hate to send something back to the kitchen I did just to get soft poached eggs... but as usual I lost my appetite and although they corrected the eggs that dog didn't hunt. I'll be back again when I'm in the French Toast/Waffle or Pancake mood! Eggs Benedict needs a good hollandaise...

Local diner in downers grove and managed by a wonderful customer friendly family. Open for breakfast and lunch, they have a large menu with delicious fresh offerings. Friendly prompt service, hearty breakfast and brunch and lunch. Decent pricing also.

Day after Christmas breakfast and what a good restaurant to go to. The restaurant has a diner feel with friendly staff and management. Our server was Beatrice and she was so sweet and attentive. She answered all my questions and I went with her recommendation. The Fig Breakfast Sandwich was very good. It was fresh fig spread with avocado, bacon and egg on grilled bread. That combo - yum! My husband had the Pancho Frittata with chorizo, avocado, jalapeño and jack cheese. We both enjoyed our choices! The only thing I was disappointed with is no cappuccino. Bah!

For drinks, I started with the lychee martini and then moved to the Fire and Ice. I loved the Fire and Ice drink. My husband found a new Pinot Noir that he now loves - Submission! For starters - we got the Brussels Sprouts Crostini. Unique appetizer to try - if you love brussell sprouts. For entrees, we got the cauliflower steak and fried chicken. I loved my cauliflower - the hummus and pita bread with it made it perfect. I wasn't trying for an all veggie meal, but it truly hit the spot. Nothing too heavy at all. My husband liked his fried chicken but wished it was spicier. He took half home and was able to spice it up with a sauce. Overall - a great meal that we would go back to if we were in the area.

Service can be a little slow when they're busy, but nothing terrible. most recently, my family and I all tried their avocado toast, and this is an item I will for sure order again in the future! I haven't really had any avocado toast like this before. My family opted for the smoked salmon, avocado toast, and they really enjoyed this lox- avocado toast combo!

Felt a little like I stepped back in time when I walked in, as the décor and layout is identical to years ago. I will say it's the same Egg Harbor, but stepped up a notch. My go to has always been the skillets. Eggs and your choice of topping layered or the harbor potatoes - the best. Another thing I love about Egg Harbor is the fact they offer goat cheese and therefore I'm able to order my favorite combo of ingredients. The coffee is strong and lattes are delicious. We went with a group of 6 and everyone walked out raving about their meal. This place is always hopping on the weekend but they are a well oiled machine and get you in and out promptly. Parking can be tough, but you can at least get added to the waitlist by calling.

We sat in a corner booth area which was perfect for us because we have a very active 1 year old plus diaper bag, car seat etc.. it was spacious and perfect for our size family. The food was very very tasty! I will include pictures in my review so you can see for yourselves. My daughter said her pancake and eggs were so fluffy and delicious ^-^ and her bacon the perfect crispness. My chilaquiles were the perfect amount of mild spiciness. I am glad I chose the red sauce over the green because they were Delicious!! They come with a side of rice and beans that tasted very authentic also. The avocado was the perfect ripeness and so creamy! My husband's house potatoes and biscuits and gravy were also great. He really liked the gravy and asked for a side of it because he likes extra gravy on his biscuits. We also ordered the Nutella crepes and they tasted pretty good. They had a hint of cinnamon in the crepe mix so keep that in mind, next time I think we will ask to exclude it now that we know. Still they were very good We will for sure be back again!
