LONG READ BUT WORTH IT! In September 2021 my Sister in Law ordered her gender reveal cake from this establishment. Firstly, it was very pricey, I know because it was my hubby and I who paid the bill as a gift for the soon to be mommy. To be honest I wouldn't have been upset about the price had the experience not turned out to be unprofessional and chaotic. Starting from the top of the list, my Sister in Law did order a detailed and aesthetically pleasing 2 tier cake. The flavor was supposed to be Tres Leches. It might as well have been zero leches because it was so dry and very disappointing. This was not the worst though. Besides the high price tag and poor quality of taste, the bakery uses HAZARDOUS MATERIALS to achieve the look of their cakes. What do I mean? Well raise your hand if you think putting STYROFOAM dipped in chocolate on an EDIBLE CAKE is smart and safe. I can understand using Styrofoam as a display example but it says a lot about a business when they are limited in their ability to design and create a cake using material that should NEVER be used. AND if they were going to use such, make sure the customer knows not to eat and remove before serving. Well long story made short- it was not told to us that there was an inedible objects on/in the cake other than the stems inside which were noted to be removed on the back of the receipt. So the cake was served to guest and the Styrofoam coated in chocolate to appear like cake pops was consumed by a kid! Who got ill, throwing up afterwards but luckily with a quick trip to urgent care was properly treated and nothing severe came about in the aftermath. WELL I was fuming about this and called the bakery to speak with the manager after that weekend. The manager Julissa made it very difficult to work through a solution. She asked me to come in person to speak about it mind you the bakery is 1 hour away from me. I told her that was out the question because I am not taking off to come into person to have a conversation that can be handled by phone. What would seeing me in person have done to resolve the matter? She then asked me to send an email so she had the complaint in writing which I did. It took almost a week for her to get back to me after I reached out to follow up only for her to notify me that they weren't responsible for the situation and the best they can do is offer me $100 store credit. Can you believe that? No, then how about this. When I told her that was not acceptable and I felt like she can reimburse me half of the order at least, they responded by sending me a screenshot of how Styrofoam is not toxic. Worst part, their screenshot was off a website from MISSOURI. It was obvious that they had to second guess the material they used only once they were faced with a very dangerous scenario that came about with the consumption of their food. Instead of taking accountability and displaying their sincere apologies by offering at least what was requested, they felt sending me their ridiculous google research was sufficient to validate how they weren't wrong. Moral of the story- not everything you see is as glamorous as it looks. Be careful if placing an order with this establishment if you care about your loved ones and/or looking to do business with a professional establishment. You won't get that here. Such a cute little place with amazing deserts unfortunately the customer service was HORRIBLE from the moment we walked in. The employees should definitely be retrained on interacting with customers. Won't go back strictly based on the way we were treated. read more

My company gave out cupcakes from this shop as part of a promo for their new products (finance). I'm a cupcake conosuier . THESE WERE THE FRESHEST AND MOST DELICIOUS CUPCAKES I EVER HAD. I think I had the dulce the leche one. Oh my baby jesus. The cake was moist, light, and FRESH. The flavor was spot on as dulce de leche. Not overly sweet but just perfect. Very unprofessional not reliable. Made an appointment showed up 10 min late, was told to wait, 10 mins passed by the girl comes out and says come back later because you arrived late. Mind you we told the girl we came an hour out of our way. The first time we arrived the owner was to BUSY to see us as well. Mind you no one called to confirm, owner walked in as we pulled up and doesn't respond to text messages. They don't seem to need the business. Saved us a headache and possibly disappointment on the day we would need it. The cakes didn't taste all that. Glad we found a real Dominican bakery with professional baker's and the cake tasted good. read more

Very unreasonable refund policy. Order a cake for my dad's birthday for 4/11 on on 4/06 he had a heart attack so we had to cancel all the celebrations. Went back and asked if I can have the refund back since it was an emergency situation. Iva was not understanding and refuse to refund anything back. read more

I payed for one of her hands on cake pop classes over a year now and i still was not able to take the class. i must admit i missed the the class i had the days mixed up. i spoke to this lady 2 times about coming to make up the class she told me no problem she had a family emergency she would get back to me when she would give the class again. i called more than enough times emailed many times she still has not return any of my messages. lets not forget i payed 90 dollars for this class . i ,must count this as a loss. read more

I called to try and get some information for my daughters birthday party because the cakes look pretty creative; but the person with an accent who answered the phone was very rude, I told her how unprofessional she was responding, and she said if you don't want to to business here go some where else. so word to the wise its good to appreciate your own quality of work but running your business goes beyond making the cake, customer service is number one which is something you lack, at least on the initial call with me anyway, so ill take my money else where. read more

I order a cake, 12 cup cake and 2 mini cakes for my son and god daughters baptism. We pay the deposit of $180 and the rest was going to be pay when we pick it up and it was confirmed with Iva that we will pick up the cake at 2pm. I let some time pass and I called at 4pm to pick it up when I ask if everything was ready they didn't even know what I was talking about. She said she didn't have anything schedule and when she went to check she change her voice like she forgot all about it. The person I spoke too I think it was Iva partner and she said that Iva was admitted to the hospital, I understand that but the unprofessionalism of not getting in contact with us and letting us know is what got us very upset. Then she told us she will have everything ready by 6:30pm so we wait then at 5pm she said she won't have it ready at that time mind you all the guest were there and we had no cake no nothing!! We ended up getting a cake and the cupcakes after 8pm when the guest were almost leaving and we didn't even get the 2 mini cakes. The cake didn't look as we expected obviously cause they were rushing!!! Yeah, they told us that we didn't have to pay the other half for the cake but that doesn't resolve the fact that we got a cake when the event was almost over. What is really disappointed is that when we went to the bakery they told us that we will not regret ordering from them and that their cake would be better then the other bakery we told them we went. I think it would have been better paying a little more and going elsewhere. If I would had never called we would of never got a cake!!! VERY UNPROFFESIONAL!!!!!! read more
