For our main dishes we had fried chick, crunchy and moist, gumbo, just the right about of spice. To start we shared the spinach salad which has an abundance of all the goodies and dressed perfectly. The biscuits were served with delicious honey butter! A winner! read more

Fantastic spot to stop for Kill Devil Hills coffee or pick up some world class beers. I'm a bit of a beer snob, and the selection at Sweet T's was incredible. Six packs and singles are available, but most are not refrigerated. There's also a selection of wines, and even a three stool bar with beers on tap. I remember seeing a sign about tastings and happy hours. I think this is their first year, so no definite word on whether they will be open during the off-season, but I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in the OBX. We got in a little bit early on Saturday and this was the perfect place to relax. Tasty coffee (ok espresso over ice), amazing scone, and a nice selection of beers. There is Wi-Fi also. read more

Totally a place to check out. We had our mini moon at duck after getting married there. We visited this place 4 times during our stay. Once for coffee and pastry, once for Wednesday wine night, Thursday pint night, and a purchase of six pack variety brews..mostly of 21 amendment brewery. The owner is awesome and accommodating. I have always enjoyed shopping at Sweet T's. She always carries a great selection of wine, most of which you are not going to find at your grocery store. I like to drink GOOD wine, I can always find something that I know I am going to enjoy, but that's not going to break the bank when we are with a big group, I always grab couple special bottles as well for the special moments. My husband and I wandered in here while staying in Duck. It was super cute and quiet. We sat at the little indoor bar and enjoyed a couple of the craft beers on draft before having dinner. I just can't get enough of Sweet T's. It is a daily staple when we are in OBX. They have good coffee and pastries in the morning and good snacks, wine, and beer in the afternoon. Best coffee on the island! Wish I had known about this place all week! I got the caramel frappuchino, which is my regular drink. I think it's even better than my preferred coffee from home! We vacationed for a week down in Duck. We discovered Sweet T's on Wednesday and were there every evening after that. It's a very comfortable place to hang out for a few drinks. This is a great spot, right in the heart of Duck. Several microbrews on taps, and lots of bottled beer for sale. Also offered are coffee, tea and treats. It is very "cozy" inside, so if the weather is nice, I recommend sitting outside. read more

Wine selection is admirable- both for glasses and bottles. We stopped here on our last day of our OBX vacation, and luckily we only live 1.5 hours away and plan to come back. This is a lovely place to stop for a coffee, tea, beer, wine and or snack such as pastries or cheese/crackers. We sat on the shady deck and listened to nice tunes. The owner was the person serving us and she was friendly and knowledgable. We missed out on the live music but I can imagine how awesome that is!
