First visit here and I think this is a great find for anyone looking for made from scratch breakfast options. While this is a smaller place there is great outdoor seating to compliment what they have inside. Most importantly, the seating outside is located on the west facing side of the building and it is covered----great protection from the early morning sun so you can enjoy an outside breakfast. Came with a group of five, one kid, and there were options for everyone. There is no waiter/waitress service so you view and select options from the menu and place orders at the register---names are called when ready. Everything worked smoothly and quickly even though this place was very busy. Love that all meals are served in biodegradable plates/bowls. The yogurt parfait was a healthy serving of yogurt, bananas, pineapple, and strawberries---2 thumbs up from the 9 year-old! Adults tried various combinations of there platters and everything was great. Highly recommend the hangover potatoes and the sourdough bread, both very unique. This cafe is super cute and the staff is very friendly. The menu is filled with a large variety of foods. The coffee came out very fast and was delicious! The food however, took a lonnggg time. Great service and better food. Upon entering was handed a menu and put in a quick moving line to the register. Options are simple but all sounded fantastic. Really appreciated the specialty coffees listed, made selecting what we wanted much easier. They took our order quickly, were accommodating of substitutions we requested and were overwhelmingly friendly. Seating and atmosphere was great. Plenty of outdoor seating, though mildly cramped inside. Despite being swamped with customers, our drinks came out almost as fast as we could find a seat. It wasn't even 5 minutes later that our food came out hot and ready. Flavor was amazing. We both got a Hash bowl. Mine was salmon and sweet potatoes, hers was potatoes and sausage. Everything tasted extremely fresh, and quality. Some of the best food we've had in the area so far. Overall very happy with this small find, great people and fantastic food/ coffee. I went in just for coffee. The guy that goes the place helped me and I ended up not getting what I really wanted because he suggested something else. I went outside and added some stuff I had in the car to it and I ended up throwing the coffee away and going somewhere else. It was so dark and bitter. BLUF: Strong coffee, breakfast and lunch. Sea Level Coffee and Kitchen is new to Nags Head and serving coffee, breakfast and lunch daily. The coffee is strong and serious which as a black coffee drinker I appreciate. They have all sorts of fancy coffee drinks but so far I have only tried to black iced coffee and coffee on nitro. Frankly, unless it's hot black coffee, I don't see my venturing too far from these staples when it comes to coffee. On my inaugural visit I tried the Crispy Honey Dipped Chicken Sandwich aka fried chicken on a biscuit. Um, yes, yes, please. To make it even better and messier I added a scrambled egg although you can also get your egg poached. As it was, I was up to my elbows in this messy sandwich - no complaints. It was excellent. I figured I would start my way at the top of the menu and work my way down. Sea Level has seating both inside and outside. On a pleasant summer morning my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the constant shuffle of cars coming and going. This place is already popular! Sea Level has some good merch too including tees and hoodies with the store name and "Nags Head." Thank you Sea Level for making merch that doesn't say Outer Banks. Excellent food, coffee, and service. I love the decor and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. There's lots of sitting space indoor and outdoor and would be a great place to go with friends. They also have a bench to wait for coffee and food to-go. I got the iced Paradise latte with oat milk and a breakfast sandwich with egg, goat cheese, bacon, and avocado which was very filling. I've been here multiple times and have enjoyed my drinks, food, and experience every time. The staff are so friendly and the wait time is not too bad. First thing they do when you walk up the steps or open the door is greet you very politely and hand you a menu. We absolutely loved this place! The food is so unique and different than anything you can find in OBX. Chef Andy is very talented in creating menu items that are gourmet yet served with only a few minutes wait, thanks to a very well-trained and eager-to-please wait staff. We had breakfast I(burritos and bowls) there and went back the next day for seconds. The way the dishes are served in easy-to-handle packaging was much appreciated. The coffee and tea drinks that we had were phenomenal as well. I particularly liked the Dirty Chai Tea. Dining at Sea Level was definitely a highlight of our OBX trip. Tried out this place after passing by and seeing the sign, the drinks could be better but the food? My god if nothing else stop here for breakfast! They were friendly and super fast! The parking is limited it is a shared parking lot m-f there are spots blocked off for the other business. If you can ride a bike or walk during the busy times that would be best since it's a small lot. We got the maple crunch and Thai coconut cold brew. The Thai has a coconut floater which I assumed meant cold foam... I was wrong. It's like a block of coconut milk? I don't know, they were both drinkable but there is better out there. read more

What a cool place. We had a chicken biscuit and a coconut yogurt bowl. First, I was greeted with a pleasant hello by the owner and he gave me some great recommendations for a first timer. I got a regular cup of coffee and my wife got a chai latte. Both piping hot. Secondly, since I had my WV shirt on one of the other employees got to talking about his family from WV. This place is a winner! They opened April 25 and really created something special. First, the decor is great, the people are super friendly (shout out to Derek) and the food is AMAZING! The biscuits are some of the best we had! The homemade sausage was delicious and went perfectly on the breakfast sandwich. We had lattes and cold-brew coffees, both were excellent! this place was really overpriced and the coffee and food was really bad I got the maple leaf latte and it was severely watered down and i asked for oat milk and they put wholemilk in it. I am a barista myself so I like to try different places but this place could barely make a latte correct me and my 3 other friends went and we all got different coffees and they all sucked. Not to mention the food was burnt and the biscuit was badly made and the whole sandwich together was messed up. DO not waste your money here it's not good and over priced read more
