I went in just for coffee. The guy that goes the place helped me and I ended up not getting what I really wanted because he suggested something else. I went outside and added some stuff I had in the car to it and I ended up throwing the coffee away and going somewhere else. It was so dark and bitter. I don't want to give it super low stars because it could've just been me and other people like it. It's a nice place. read more

Excellent food, coffee, and service. I love the decor and the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. There's lots of sitting space indoor and outdoor and would be a great place to go with friends. They also have a bench to wait for coffee and food to-go. I got the iced Paradise latte with oat milk and a breakfast sandwich with egg, goat cheese, bacon, and avocado which was very filling. I've been here multiple times and have enjoyed my drinks, food, and experience every time. The staff are so friendly and the wait time is not too bad. There are lots of vegan options, homemade syrups, and whole food options. I would highly recommend Sea Level to anyone who enjoys organic food and creative coffee. read more

BLUF: Strong coffee, breakfast and lunch. Sea Level Coffee and Kitchen is new to Nags Head and serving coffee, breakfast and lunch daily. The coffee is strong and serious which as a black coffee drinker I appreciate. They have all sorts of fancy coffee drinks but so far I have only tried to black iced coffee and coffee on nitro. Frankly, unless it's hot black coffee, I don't see my venturing too far from these staples when it comes to coffee. On my inaugural visit I tried the Crispy Honey Dipped Chicken Sandwich aka fried chicken on a biscuit. Um, yes, yes, please. To make it even better and messier I added a scrambled egg although you can also get your egg poached. As it was, I was up to my elbows in this messy sandwich - no complaints. It was excellent. I figured I would start my way at the top of the menu and work my way down. Sea Level has seating both inside and outside. On a pleasant summer morning my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the constant shuffle of cars coming and going. This place is already popular! Sea Level has some good merch too including tees and hoodies with the store name and "Nags Head." Thank you Sea Level for making merch that doesn't say Outer Banks. I'll be back soon for more coffee, another breakfast sandwich and merch. read more

Not a coffee snob by any means but that is some damn good iced coffee. Also got an egg and cheese biscuit, which was wonderful. But the breakfast egg rolls were the things my stomach dreams about. And the service was incredible. I had a very short but incredibly polite little man bring me my to-go order and he dapped me up so he's probably already cooler than me. Tried out this place after passing by and seeing the sign, the drinks could be better but the food? My god if nothing else stop here for breakfast! They were friendly and super fast! The parking is limited it is a shared parking lot m-f there are spots blocked off for the other business. If you can ride a bike or walk during the busy times that would be best since it's a small lot. We got the maple crunch and Thai coconut cold brew. The Thai has a coconut floater which I assumed meant cold foam... I was wrong. It's like a block of coconut milk? I don't know, they were both drinkable but there is better out there. read more

What a cool place. We had a chicken biscuit and a coconut yogurt bowl. First, I was greeted with a pleasant hello by the owner and he gave me some great recommendations for a first timer. I got a regular cup of coffee and my wife got a chai latte. Both piping hot. Secondly, since I had my WV shirt on one of the other employees got to talking about his family from WV. We got the sausage biscuit, egg and cheese biscuit (added tomato and avocado), hangover hash (took off egg and added avocado), sweet potato hash, and egg and cheese biscuit (added bacon). The biscuits are so soft yet crispy, sweet and buttery, and are the perfect base for toppings. The eggs were fluffy and soft. The sausage and bacon were both flavorful and well cooked. The hangover hash was tasty, flavorful, and very fresh. The sweet potato hash was packed with flavor. It had the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, herby and a touch of spice. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast and lunch spot in Nags Head! Even though we got it to go, the short time spent inside the restaurant allowed us to enjoy the clean, calm vibe. I found this place near where I stayed while visiting Nags Head. I've been to many coffee shops along the East Coast but Sea Level's latte is outstanding! Simple yet delicious. This place is a winner! They opened April 25 and really created something special. First, the decor is great, the people are super friendly (shout out to Derek) and the food is AMAZING! The biscuits are some of the best we had! The homemade sausage was delicious and went perfectly on the breakfast sandwich. We had lattes and cold-brew coffees, both were excellent! We've gone multiple times during our week in Nags Head, was worth going back instead of trying other places! Worth the drive if you want great food and great service! read more

Looked for coffee and got so much more. The coffee was great with some unique flavors. My wife got the bananas foster and I got the maple crunch. We also were wowed by the menu which we enjoyed the salmon hash and breakfast poutine. Their lunch menu looks just as good. Must be new because I had to add to yelp. Went here on our last day visiting the obx early in the morning. Not much was open that early and their location was in a good location. I had a cold brew coffee that was really good. I also ordered a chicken biscuit with hot honey. The chicken was cooked perfectly and crispy coated. The biscuit was not what I'm used to, but it was still good. The owner was very personable and attentive. Will definitely come back for some of that cold brew and maybe try some other stuff too. Thanks! read more

Best new spot in nags head! Not only is the food and coffee out of this world but the service is perfection. They're tentative and on top of everything. They keep the long line moving and are so friendly and polite. For any avid coffee drinkers, this place is a must. The yeah buoy burrito is the best burrito I've ever had. We got there pretty late so we tried to rush around to look at everything that looked interesting. I probably spent most of the allowance I gave myself for my vacation here. Lol. Money well spent!

I'd been wanting to try Duck Donuts for a while, and they did not disappoint! The donuts were delicious, with a great variety--French Toast, Coffee Cake, and even one topped with bacon. Honestly, I can't think of one I didn't like. Everything was ready when we arrived, which made pickup easy and quick. The only downside was that the coffee wasn't warm, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, the donuts alone were worth the stop, and I'll definitely go back the next time I'm near a Duck Donuts.
