When they closed the pool they didn't empty the water and blamed us that the heater needed to be replaced and so we ordered a new one. They said it was due to our chemicals, which were always balanced. They installed the new heater and cut the liner which caused a leak. They told us they didn't do it. They didn't have time to fix it as their son got hurt. The pool wasn't leaking before the large cut in the liner where they installed the liner. They decided to come out to repair the liner. It didn't work. It was a bunch of blue goop brushed on. Again, they told us it was our problem and the people that installed the pool. I had a pool leak rest of the summer. I didn't pay the second half of the heater as my pool was leaking. They refused to fix it. I had two companies out here to look at the damage. This leak was not due to the original installation. It was from the install of the new heater where the tear was and the repair didn't work. It was an obvious slice where they installed the heater. Also when these companies came and looked at the old heater and they could tell the water wasn't emptied out of the heater when they closed the pool. Communication is horrible, they don't respond. The one gentleman who helps with chemicals is phenomenal, but other than that, the emails they sent me were mean. I paid for the other half of the heater as I had no choice. It was costly for me to continue fighting for a liner. Find another source if you can. They do not care about their customers and they take no responsibility for their work. They only have time for their in ground customers.

My review of Lake Geneva Pool and Spas has spun to ground zero 3 years later on a 3 year old pool…read more This pool was not set true and level to begin with with and is noticeable when full of water. There is definitely a catastrophic failure that is likely caused by a very poor install and winterizing of the pool. It appears there is settlement around the pool due to improper installation and compaction of the surrounding soils. I went to open this pool this year and noticed it drained down. That is not a good sign. Of course they came to air test, seen it failed and left. As it was put it is not Lake Geneva Pools Problem anymore and left. First observation is skimmer box is busted up. Improper winterization and ice damage. That is a major repair if the epoxy coating does not work to seal up the box. That is all I can try. Second observation is the return lines to the pool. Cannot get air pressure on the system. There is either a poor winterization of the lines or major settlement snapped the lines. Time will tell once a leak detection service can get in and do their testing and maybe send a fiber optic camera thru it. Third is the water heater. Leaks out the bottom every year. Always needing some sort of attention. This should not be. Forth are the laminar jets. They just do not operate like they should with the lighting. Never have since the beginning. It is sad for the price they charge for these. One laminar jet and area surrounding it sunk a lot. Fifth is bubbler jets. One jet si surrounded with sand and sediment. This is troubling as we do not know where that is coming from. If those failed that shallow deck is poured with concrete under the fiberglass. Basically the pool becomes a total loss as there is no safe way to repair those. This is disappointing to say the least that a pool install has this many issues. My aunt's pool is 45 years old and still working fine. This repair will be costly to say the least. This is gut wrenching because I have to fill the pool and hope the two bubbler jets will heat it and not cause a drain down. Pool must hit the 80 degrees for leak detection services to work in it. A lot of sleepless nights now.

The bedding was not Bern changed and dark stains on the bedding. A third room was even worse so they asked for clean blankets and went back to the first room. I have since spoken to several local people who had visitors actually check out rather than stay in the filthy rooms.

My husband had to go get a bottle of their disinfectant cleaner off of the housekeeping cart and a rag so we could clean the room ourselves, but it still felt disgusting being in there. The only one good thing I can say is I did not find any evidence of any kinds of bugs, especially bed bugs so...that's a win, I guess....Breakfast was a let down, especially as someone who cannot eat gluten. The eggs were nasty, the sausage was disgustingly cheap and gross, the coffee tasted like coffee flavored water... nope. All gross. Your only saving grace is if you can eat bagels, pancakes, or waffles. But I couldn't eat any of that.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. We went the third week of September and luckily they still had their outdoor pool and activities going. Every other resort I been to, close their outdoor pool after Labor Day. The view was beautiful specially from their reception area. They didn't have any restaurants however their is a supper club restaurant within a 5mn walk and their sister property is within a 5mn drive and it has an amazing restaurant. They are lake front however is not for swimming but for fishing and boating, you can walk to the public beach entrance which is about a 7mn walk.

I come at varying times in the morning, and there are cars parked on both sides of the street and the lot is full due to their class times. I mentioned this to Jane at the front desk, who didn't seem to care when she rudely told me, "Well, it's the busiest time of the morning. There are only two classes." And then went right back to folding her towels. I asked again about why they don't split up the class--as they hold the most popular class at the most popular time for working people regularly just going to the gym--and she rudely dismissed my concern again. Don't come here if you want new and working equipment, not to have to plan your workout around that of retired people, and a staff that cares about its facilities and guests.
