Pink Snake - new Lunar New Year
    Jennifer A.

Love the new Chicken bites and the new Drink to celebrate the Lunar New Year. It sparkles and shine. It is Strawberry with lychee and strawberry jelly and glitters. The chicken is crunchy on the outside and tender inside. There's three flavours, Thai chili, salt and pepper, and basil. I opted for the salt and pepper since I was sharing with a toddler.

Cute dessert spot! I got the PB&J toast with strawberries, which they put a lot of effort into making. Presentation was really pretty. The toast itself was really good - soft and fluffy but with a crispy outside. Staff were really nice. Only issue when I was there was the wifi didn't work.

The service was great while ordering and the place was very well kept and clean inside! I ordered the Melon Shaved Ice (Large) and it was amazing. Would recommend if craving dessert!

SweetTea Boba is my favorite boba place in Cary! I work pretty close to this shop so I'm able to stop in for a sweet treat! My favorite drink is their matcha with brown sugar boba but the other night I stopped in late so I got the A5 which is caffeine free! Im so glad they have caffeine free options so you can enjoy their boba at anytime. I also love that everything is pink and the shop is always clean. It's definitely a little on the pricey side for a sweet treat but it's delicious.

Such a cute shop! The boba tea was great. The clerk was very nice. And I loved the esthetic. I wasn't expecting such cuteness. A nice place for a date, to meet the girls or just work on your laptop.

I liked the ambiance, very peaceful and I didn't even sit down before my food and drink was ready, the service was super quick and there were so many good options.

The shaved ice here is AMAZING. I recommend matcha red bean shaved ice with strawberry popping boba on the side. You won't regret it! The service was friendly and considerate. The ambiance is cute and clean. We loved it here!

[3.5 stars] Haiku: SweeTea Boba & Ice Order their shave ice. Romantic and chic inside Cute date and friend spot. --- SweeTea is such a cute and romantic boba shop. The ambiance is truly the star of this shop. It's decor is chic pink with velvety soft, scalloped edge chairs and lots of brush gold detail. The shave ice and pretty fruit drinks seems to be the popular items to order. Next time I'll come back with a small group of friends to try the shave ice. They use organic half & half and premium brewed tea leaves for their milk teas. We ordered something more traditional, Iced Grass Jelly. It came in a smaller, than expected cup. It still tasted delicious though. Don't order the Taro Milk Tea if you're expecting fresh taro. This drink is made from the purple powder and has that artificial taste. Some people like that, but I wish I knew beforehand. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful. The lady helped me with all my questions about the menu.

This establishment has the most adorable girly decor! I mean, I couldn't resist the pink velvet seating options, the marble tabletops, the butterflies, the flowers, and all the other cute decor inside! No wait and the baristas greeted us with smiles. Service was quick. My daughter ordered Brown Sugar boba which she rated a 4/5 and this girl knows her boba. We will visit again!

With all the boba tea places popping up all over the triangle, this is still one of our favorites. The teas are always quality brewed tea...you could taste the difference compared to other places. Service is always attentive and efficient. They did update their seating recently to offer more seating. The menu was also streamlined by doing away with the cute names and offering a more personalized approach to customizing your own boba drink.

What a cute little shop that has opened up next to the Fresh Market in Cary. There were a little busy when I first stopped by, so I went into Fresh Market first and decided to come back when I finished shopping. Good call. Once I came out, there was only one other customer inside. Perfect timing. The location is small but decorated nicely. It is set-up for those perfect food shots! The menu is very detailed and well laid out on the wall. You are able to understand what's within each drink and what to expect - I love it. There is a wide variety - so there is something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and inviting. I ended up ordering something that was like mango on top of milk "jelly" for my friend. She was so excited with the presentation of the dessert and stated it tasted amazing!

So my husband and I ordered the date night which is HUGE! We are a decent amount and out the rest in the freezer for the next day and then got the hello sunshine drink with mango boba. I know there's a good amount of boba places in Cary now. But this one is officially my favorite one. Cha house used to be my go to for drinks but now here is! So freaking good. Will definitely become regular customers now lol.

SweeTea Boba and Ice made an incredibly strong first impression on me. Upon entering the store, you're greeted with a very elegant and inviting atmosphere. The aesthetic decorations set up for some very fancy photos. Their menu offers a plethora of drinks ranging from your everyday milk teas, milk cap series, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty combination drinks. There were so many that I had to take a moment to read all of the options before I decided on what I wanted to order. While I was looking at the menu, the staff offered to provide some suggestions to me. I rarely find staff members feeling confident enough to provide suggestions based on what I like, and even less feel confident enough to initiate the conversation and offer to help me find an order I would enjoy. This honestly just shows that they know what they are doing and are confident in their menu. I think that star of the show here was the specialty drink from their "Special Moment Series". These drinks offer some very unique combinations that I was skeptical of at first, but turned out to be amazing and flowed very well together. I was specifically hesitant about the sea salt milk cap in the BFF drink. But after drinking it, the sea salt really compliments the sweet aspects of the drink, and is never overbearing or shadowed by the other sweet ingredients. It was honestly very well-thought-out craftsmanship, and I'm excited to come back and try out the other drinks from this category. Really cool place and will be back to try out more of their menu. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!

Their offerings are truly unique compared to other ice cream and dessert spots around here. Everything is consistently high quality, and you can really taste the authenticity in their desserts. The flavors remind me of true Indian faloodas, chuski, and golas, and the hygiene and cleanliness are unmatched. The whole setup is very well managed, from the efficient ordering process to the pager system. We've had a great experience every single time. Today we tried the kulfi falooda, and it was hands down the best item yet. The rose kulfi falooda is also a must-try. Even the mango kulfi on its own was excellent, especially with the added toppings that elevate the flavor. Really glad to have them as part of our community. Hope they continue to thrive and keep up the consistency. Highly recommend!

Gola -- that classic Indian crushed ice treat -- is served here with a fun twist. We tried the Nutty Treat, which leaned more towards the classic crushed ice style, and Royal Rajwadi, which felt more like smooth, shaved ice. Both were flavorful in their own way. The best part? You can tweak the flavors as per your taste -- more sweet, tangy, or even spicy! Perfect for a post-dinner chill or to beat the heat with some desi vibes. Clean setup, quick service, and full-on nostalgia in every bite.

We ordered something we've never ordered in a Kung Fu Tea before: Brown Sugar milktea. This particular Kung Fu Tea spot is in a fantastic location, next to our favorite ramen spot, Miso Ramen Bar. My girl ordered 1 we'd share while we finish our meal. Feng Cha in Morrisville was about to close so Kung Fu was the only milktea place we can get one by 9 PM. The texture of the boba is perfect, and the amount is well-balanced for a $6+ milktea. My first sip of the milktea itself didn't last a great impression, however. While I can smell the fragrant smell of freshly-brewed tea, I could barely taste the brown sugar flavor and the milktea doesn't taste as creamy as Feng Cha's or Milklab's. Even Tiger Sugar near H-Mart served better quality brown sugar milktea but it's slightly better than Breco Tea's disappointing Brown Sugar milktea. In other words: This milktea is average compared to other Brown Sugar milkteas we've tried. My girl loves its aroma and she says it's not bad. Customer service is fast: Barrista was able to serve our drink in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance is fine, place looked clean. Overall, I see Kung Fu Tea Cary as the McDonald's of the milktea industry - franchise looks as strong as Quickly's. and it'll be enjoyable to a casual milktea customer. But why settle for average when there are other milktea spots that can offer higher quality blends for about the same price?

Every plate was visually impressive and thoughtfully composed. Unfortunately, that is where the positives largely stop. The food was bland or oddly prepared, with flavor combinations that did not work. There was not a single dish on the menu that I enjoyed. I could have prepared a better tasting meal with my hands tied behind my back. The hamachi was described as having wasabi, yet there was no heat or spice at all. The beef was cooked perfectly from a technical standpoint but completely under seasoned. The beet dish, described as a celebration, was unpleasant. The quail was mediocre and forgettable. Service was polished but incomplete. At no point during the delivery of each course did anyone ask how the food was. In a fine dining setting, that absence is noticeable. Part of me was relieved not to be asked, but it also gave the impression that the staff already knew the meal was overpriced and under delivered. By the end of the evening, I was eager to leave and questioning whether I would ever return. The experience leaned heavily on concept and presentation while failing at the most important element: flavor. For a restaurant of this reputation and price point, this was a major disappointment. --
