My favorite thing was the signature toast, but everything we got was great. We ordered at the counter and all our items came out in about 10-15 minutes. Came in on a hot day and got some shaved ice to cool off. Hard to go wrong with fruit, ice, and sugar! We ordered a medium half mango/half strawberry and it was plenty for three people. It also comes with a side of boba pearls. We decided to try their Taiwanese chicken too, but probably won't be ordering it again. It did not taste like traditional Taiwanese popcorn chicken - just tasted like a chicken nugget. Not bad but would definitely get shaved ice over the chicken. Cute dessert spot! I got the PB&J toast with strawberries, which they put a lot of effort into making. Presentation was really pretty. This weekend I went to SweeTea for the first time. I was surprised and delighted by my experience! A few of us brought our laptops for an afternoon of work while we sipped boba and had some popcorn chicken. Right away, we were greeted by a couple workers who were friendly and gave us our time to figure out what drinks we wanted. The service was consistently warm and welcoming through the time we left later in the day. I got the matcha milk tea @ 25% sweet, less ice, with mango jelly. The drink was made really well, and it wasn't too sweet, which is exactly what I wanted. We also got the popcorn chicken, and the chicken came out hot and tasty in about 10 minutes. The chicken itself was really good. Quick note about flavors! The one we got did not compare to popcorn chicken at a Taiwanese snack shop. (The seasoning is different, and there's no crispy basil if you're accustomed to that.) I believe the cafe has a few flavor options. Something to be aware of! I look forward to trying more, including the one we got, because it was great. It's a shame I didn't snap pictures because the interior is well-appointed with bright colors and tons of personality! What a cute little shop that has opened up next to the Fresh Market in Cary. There were a little busy when I first stopped by, so I went into Fresh Market first and decided to come back when I finished shopping. Good call. SweeTea Boba and Ice made an incredibly strong first impression on me. Upon entering the store, you're greeted with a very elegant and inviting atmosphere. The aesthetic decorations set up for some very fancy photos. Their menu offers a plethora of drinks ranging from your everyday milk teas, milk cap series, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty combination drinks. There were so many that I had to take a moment to read all of the options before I decided on what I wanted to order. While I was looking at the menu, the staff offered to provide some suggestions to me. I rarely find staff members feeling confident enough to provide suggestions based on what I like, and even less feel confident enough to initiate the conversation and offer to help me find an order I would enjoy. This honestly just shows that they know what they are doing and are confident in their menu. I think that star of the show here was the specialty drink from their "Special Moment Series". These drinks offer some very unique combinations that I was skeptical of at first, but turned out to be amazing and flowed very well together. I was specifically hesitant about the sea salt milk cap in the BFF drink. But after drinking it, the sea salt really compliments the sweet aspects of the drink, and is never overbearing or shadowed by the other sweet ingredients. It was honestly very well-thought-out craftsmanship, and I'm excited to come back and try out the other drinks from this category. Really cool place and will be back to try out more of their menu. The interior is soooo cute and well put together! A very chic pink and white themed and very cute tables and chairs. The bathroom is also very clean and follows the theme! My partner and I got the celebration special drink and strawberry green tea. Both come with toppings already included the price which is great. We shared the matcha shaved ice which was HUGE and could be shared with 3-4 people. Overall, tea quality is good and I love how extensive the menu is. The owner and workers are also very sweet and shared that they make all of their toppings in house except the boba pearls. Welcome Sweetea Boba and Ice! This was such an awesome first experience. First of all, i side was so inviting and unlike other shops I've seen. It was spacioua enough to sit down with friends or to get some work done. Additionally, their employees were super nice and the owner/manager took the time to speak with the incoming customers and my friends and me. Upon ordering, she actually made a wonderful suggestion which also indicated that she was prepped and knew the menu. I told them I wanted a classic milk tea with boba and grass jelly, and they suggested I order the Sweethearts drink. She said it's almost like your order, but it also has pudding if that's something new I would like to try. I appreciated the thought in that, so I took her recommendation! It was delicious. The tea flavor didn't come out as much as I would have liked. I noticed the ice they used was crushed so maybe it melted and watered it down some?? Nonetheless, it was good overall. The toppings in the drink (boba, grass jelly, and pudding) were fantastic. The owner/manager actually told me that the grass jelly and pudding was all made in house and not from a can, which I definitely tasted something different than other places, a deeper flavor profile, more fragrant. My friends also got a shaved ice in the matcha flavor. Again, THE TOPPINGS were ON POINT. Also, this was my first time having matcha boba!! Such an exciting time. A new gem in Cary! We were very excited to see this shop open in our neighborhood - our first visit was amazing. The store itself is gorgeous. The interior is pristine, and the decor is both cute and luxurious. The tables are a nice size and a high quality faux marble look, with really comfortable pink velvet chairs. It's a place that looks like a lot of love and care and pride went into designing it. We were planning on just grabbing drinks to go, but ended up staying because the ambiance was so happy. The menu is clearly displayed on screens that are easy to read but take a bit to digest because of the wide variety of offerings. We spent a good amount of time studying it while the cashier patiently waited and offered guidance as we asked questions. She was very cheerful and helpful, and ended up giving great advice. If you're not familiar with different boba tea options, the staff were very patient and good at explaining. Pictures of some of the drinks might have been helpful. I went with the Graduation which is a peach fruit slush with jelly - it was phenomenal and something I'll definitely order again. Fruit slushes are a less creamy version of a smoothie which I find to be really refreshing. My husband ordered a Fruit Tea which was also delicious. Both drinks were quite large - we ended up not really needing dinner afterward. I noticed afterwards that there are options to order with different levels of sweetness which I might try next time - my drink was delicious, but given the size a little less sugar might be good. I also want to try the shaved ice next time. We'll be back! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they add a honeydew melon fruit slush in the future (my all time favorite). read more

This place is so cute and cozy, and very clean! This was my first time trying this boba place. I met up with a friend and we sat for about 2 hours and it was never overly busy or crowded. When I first entered I was quietly greeted by one of the staff members. I ordered a strawberry matcha. It was decent. It was sort of bland tasting until I would get a bit of the strawberry purée in the straw. (Yes I did mix the drink). It seemed like the strawberry to milk ratio wasn't balanced enough. It was ok tasting overall, but definitely not my favorite place to get strawberry matcha. This is a cute, local dessert store, and I'm pretty sure it's the only place in the Triangle (besides the chain Meet Fresh in Chapel Hill) where you can find Taiwanese grass jelly/taro ball desserts. The owner seemed sweet and accommodating and asked me clarifiyignwhen making my order. I got the G1 Iced Grass Jelly, which came with grass jelly, boba, taro balls, and red bean, and I was able to switch out the red bean for taro paste. All the toppings were great! Chewy boba and taro ball, flavorful grass jelly and taro paste. The toppings are sweet by themselves, so keep that in mind if you want to order a lower sweetness level.
