I really do love this place, so I want to preface this by saying this comes from someone who genuinely wants to see you all thrive. I'm a local music teacher, and I often meet potential clients here instead of Starbucks because I'd much rather support a local business. This morning (7/31/26 around 9:00 AM), I had my two girls with me, ages 3 and 1. I completely understand this coffee shop is geared more toward adults, and I don't expect anyone else to parent my children. With a little supervision, though, they're usually happy to sit in the front area with a pastry and hot chocolate while I meet my client, who today was a no show lol. Today, my hands were obviously full with a baby on my hip, so I was microwaving cinnamon rolls one at a time while making sure my 3-year-old wasn't getting into anything. That's just part of being a mom, and I didn't mind doing it. What stood out was that when I asked if there were any napkins, I was told, "Nope, I think we're out." I assumed someone might grab a paper towel or another option from the back, but after waiting a few minutes while my daughter kept saying, "Mommy, sticky," I realized that wasn't happening. I finally just told her to wipe her hands on my pants because we didn't have anything else. Then I went looking for utensils to make things a little less messy and found only one fork, so my daughter and I shared it. I know these seem like small things, but my family owned a restaurant growing up, so I also know how much the little moments shape whether someone feels cared for. We live in an area with a lot of young families, and even small gestures like having napkins stocked, keeping utensils available, or offering a paper towel when someone is clearly juggling little kids can make people feel genuinely welcomed. I'll absolutely continue coming back because I really enjoy supporting your business and bringing my students there for meetings. I just wanted to share this experience because I thought it was something the owner would want to know. I am so glad we tried this place! The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed a chat with the owner about her fun teapot collection that adorns the walls. The pastries and coffee were both excellent. I tried several pastries over the course of the week and they were all so good! I love that they use frozen coffee cubes so your iced drinks don't get watered down as the ice melts. This place was a wonderful find. We were only here for a day or two and we came both mornings for coffee and breakfast. The baristas are awesome. The S'mores iced latte was delicious. My daughter loved the strawberry milk boba. We also got dirty sodas for the ride. The red velvet is so good! The raspberry dream is good too The pastries are so fresh, flaky and delicious! Stopped here to get a good cup of coffee before hitting the back to Augusta. This is a cute little coffee shop next to an adjoining ice cream shop. The young lady who took our order seemed a little unsure of how the cash register functioned but was nice. My daughter ordered a gingerbread latte while I had a coffee with sugar free caramel and maple flavoring. The coffee is locally sourced and very good. We also ordered a cookie and cheese danish. We only got the danish as they forgot to put the cookie in the box and, in our haste, we forgot to check. The danish was truly one of the best cheese danish I'd ever had. When I got in the road and opened the to go box my mother's cheese danish was inside but my cookie was nowhere to be found. I was fortunate enough to make it to the first Friday of the month evening event. Theme was Alice in Wonderland. Had a very nice time. They decorated the place with all Alice stuff. Our table setting was very cute with little bottles, keys, cards and red napkins. I had Chi tea which was good and I tried one of almost everything in reference to the finger foods and desserts. Very well priced. The shortbread cookie, cupcake and cream puff were very tasty. I have never had macaroons and tried two different ones (no picture). They weren't my favorite but I saw that others loved them. I had the chicken salad, cheese-tomato, apple & ham, and pimento tea sandwiches. All were very good but my favorite was the pimento... yummy!! Everyone wore a fun hat and there was a prize for the best. We played a couple of games with nice prizes for the winners. After all that we were offered a tasting of four different teas. At our table there was only one that was liked by all. Before we left we were given a goody bag filled with Women owned business items. Got home and was surprised at all the goodies that were inside. Wonderful! My husband and I stopped in here on a day trip through Swansboro and found a jem! The delightful staff recommended some homemade pastries- the Boston cream and apple cinnamon roll was incredible. I enjoyed an iced toasted almond mocha - and they have coffee ice cubes!! Such a brilliant idea - that way as your iced coffee begins to thaw the flavor only gets more intense instead of watered down!
