The strip mall is nondescript (but next to a gun shop; if there were a book store I would never need to leave!), while the interior has a very bright, clean feeling. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is really the most that you could ask for in a coffee shop. I got a drip coffee with milk and my wife got a double shot of espresso, both of which were enjoyable. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, though... they were FANTASTIC. The bacon is pretty peppery, which my daughter didn't love, but my son and I did! The coffee was good, but the food was great. Overall, I'm a big fan, and would definitely come back.

Such a cute little place! I ordered the Breakfast Must sandwich and an americano. Both were wonderful! My family also enjoyed the Banana nut toast and Peanut Butter Bliss. Everyone was friendly and the food came out quickly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

We LOVE Noontide! This was our second time and we loved everything we ordered. You can tell the owner wants to make sure you have everything you need and cares about ensuring the quality of the food. We love that there are your typical breakfast options but also healthy options including smoothies and delicious protein balls. The restaurant is really cute with plants all around and plenty of seating. We will definitely be returning!

Lunch & brunch all day? Count me in! I love this local sandwich spot. It's an unassuming building (formerly a gas station), but don't count it out! They have an extensive sandwich and brunch menu with fresh, local ingredients. The service was friendly and timely. Will absolutely be back!

SO FREAKING GOOD. Got the banana toast and the "mexi-brekki wrap" or whatever it was called. Split it with my brother, was the perfect serving size. The room is just stunning and I love the lively atmosphere. Got the food fast and with great attitudes from the staff. Definitely a must have!

For morehead city, this has to be the best breakfast spot. We ordered a protein banana smoothie, chicken salad lunch, and avocado with hard boiled egg toast & a latte. Great service, super nice girls working the front. Very efficient. And the brightness in the eating area with greenery is so cute.

A surprising wonderful coffee & brunch spot nestled at the intersection of Arendell st. & Friendly rd. The iced honey latte was exceptional, and the breakfast bun and scram-bowl tasted amazing! The atmosphere was adorable with plenty of seating and a friendly staff! Would recommend this place to coffee & brunch lovers alike visiting Morehead city!

The food was delicious. Super fresh and made to order. We got a Carolina smoothie, coconut latte, the county club, and a veg egg sandwich. Service was respectful, engaging, and overall just some super friendly folks. Ambiance is super cute too, beachy coastal Carolina vibe. Our new pre-beach go to stop to have some delicious grub at the beach!

The bartender was busy working and singing in between taking orders as she prepared drinks for customers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered the specials before we placed our order. We love to sample the menu when we travel and the vast menu of tapas gave us the perfect opportunity to try just about everything. They had a smaller wine selection, but there was something for just about everyone. Our waiter was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to try if we were torn between several menu options. The Spanish lamb meatballs, truffle honey pork belly and rosemary beef were the tapas that stood out as the most flavorful and making us each want just one more bite. The Spanish meatballs were glazed with sriracha which caused me to pause before ordering. However, I'm so happy that we gave them a try. They had a bold flavor, but the whipped feta and cilantro were enough to balance the heat. The truffle honey pork belly was sliced differently. We have only had this cut into cubes at other restaurants in the past. The way that they slice the pork belly is so much better. The pork belly was served with cheese grits. We don't even like cheese grits, but could not get enough of these smoked Gouda grits. The rosemary beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect. The beef was tender, the asparagus cooked to perfection and who doesn't love mashed potatoes. We visit the crystal coast about twice a year and always try a couple of new places. We look forward to coming back to Circa 81 each time that we visit!

We ordered the Half Chef's Tour, which is their charcuterie, and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the night. Great variety, really well balanced, and perfect for sharing. It set the tone for the whole meal. The scallop nightly special was perfectly cooked with that golden sear and super tender inside. The rosemary steak had so much flavor and was cooked exactly right. The Brussels were crispy and savory, and even the potstickers were a standout. Nothing felt like an afterthought. Service was perfect for the tapas setting too. Not rushed, we didn't feel over bothered, but not neglected either. Overall, it felt elevated but still comfortable. A great experience without feeling over the top. We'll definitely be back.

That kind of kindness and customer service is hard to find. The waitresses were some of the nicest, friendliest people we've ever been served by. They were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home despite how busy they were. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the entire experience was outstanding. If you're looking for incredible breakfast and genuinely exceptional service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back! We started going here the first day in vacation and we only went to their restaurant because of how kind, welcoming and generous these people could be. This is the best breakfast place ever. It is simply authentic and charming in its lack of pretentiousness; it's not a tourist trap, but a dependable staple of American food. The food came really fast after ordering, everything was accurate as ordered, and the portions were all really generous, ESPECIALLY considering how reasonable are all of the prices! For my family of five, it came to about $45 including tip. You just cannot beat that! Standard diner fare, nothing fancy, but it was all done well. The pancakes were REALLY TASTY, and I'm a bit of a pancake snob. That leads to our one complaint: the only syrup they had was Log Cabin, and the quality of the pancakes deserves a real maple syrup. My wife is from New England and now travels with emergency real maple syrup in her purse.

Floyd's Restaurant Review - (4/5) Floyd's delivers exactly…read morewhat great Southern comfort food should: generous portions, rich flavors, and dishes that are clearly made with care. Unfortunately, several sanitation observations during my visit kept an otherwise excellent meal from earning a higher rating. The dining room was noticeably warm throughout the evening, making it somewhat uncomfortable during the meal. On the positive side, every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We also had the opportunity to meet the pastry chef, who was personable and clearly passionate about his work. The meal began with the house rolls, which were outstanding. They were warm, incredibly soft, buttery, and practically melted in your mouth. The Shrimp Napoleon was an excellent appetizer and easily one of the highlights of the evening. The shrimp were well prepared, the flavors were balanced, and the dish had wonderful depth. I'd rate it an 8/10. The deviled eggs had good flavor overall, although the filling leaned heavily toward mustard. The egg whites were somewhat firm and gave the impression they had been prepared well in advance and refrigerated. While enjoyable, they weren't nearly as memorable as the other dishes. The meatloaf was exceptional--without question one of the best I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and complemented perfectly by a rich, savory gravy. The green beans tasted remarkably fresh and were cooked beautifully. I added a side of cheese grits, which were creamy, cheesy, and absolutely outstanding. Portion sizes throughout the meal were generous and represented excellent value. Dessert finished the evening on a high note. The Key lime pie was outstanding, with a perfectly balanced tartness, smooth filling, and excellent crust. It was one of the best restaurant desserts I've had in quite some time. Where the experience suffered was in several sanitation and food-handling observations. During service, I observed an employee visibly sweating, wiping away perspiration, and then continuing food service. A fly was also discovered in an iced tea, and from my seat I was able to observe that the tea had been poured from a communal pitcher that was being used to refill multiple guests' glasses. One observation was particularly concerning. While seated near the service area, I watched an employee package a guest's leftover meal. During the process, the container slipped, partially opened, and the food fell onto the kitchen floor. Rather than discarding it or replacing the portion, the food was simply picked up, placed back into the container, and boxed as though nothing had happened. As someone who pays close attention to restaurant operations, moments like these raise legitimate concerns about food handling standards and overall sanitation practices. Floyd's has all the ingredients of a destination restaurant. The food is genuinely excellent, the staff is welcoming, and several dishes are worth returning for. However, consistent execution extends beyond the plate. Food safety and sanitation are just as important as flavor, and the observations from this visit make it difficult to award a higher score.

The menu is creative both for food and drinks, and you're definitely going to need a reservation to get seated. While you're there expect top notch service, and food that is really good, but at least in my experience, falling a bit short of the excellence the prices are aiming for. We were all kind of hungry and thirsty when we came in, having spent the day on Shackleford island, and being shut down at every turn by the restaurant we stopped into first hoping to have some appetizers (they were out of everything we asked about). This boded well for Parrott's, we got several apps and cocktails in addition to our mains. Unfortunately, it was really those apps that I felt fell short. Our waiter talked up the lamb meatballs to the point where we were really expecting to be blown away, and ultimately, they were pretty ordinary, and just two of them, making it hard to split amongst 6 people. Same could be said for the pork belly bbq skewers, they were small and didn't thrill any of us. The main courses made up for those shortcomings, a couple of us got the grouper, there was a scallops and grits order, a delicious pesto chicken pasta, and some crab cakes that I ended up being pretty jealous of because they stole the show. These mains were a good size helping, and each robust in their own ways, showcasing creativity and excellence in the kitchen. In the end, for the amount of the bill, you expect everything to be top notch up and down, and it fell short of that to me... but not so drastically so that I wouldn't recommend the place to others, with the caveat to have appetizers somewhere else first.
