Lovely folks here. Dropped by to try out Sweetgreen for the first time and their oven had broken mid-prep. Apparently part of their company tenets is something along the lines of if you can't do it right don't do it at all, so they were closed. But they'd already won me over as employees passed out a variety of samples to munch on with enthusiasm that was through the roof. So I'm not a big yelper, but I do like to give shoutouts and credit where it's due. I've been in the service industry for years, and in that time I've seen a lot of different approaches to customer service. Basically, some people get it and some people don't. There's a young woman at this location named Cici (sp?) who totally gets it. My girlfriend and I came in for a quick salad after moving all day, and she was totally pleasant and put a smile on both of our faces after a long, lousy day. I am a huge fan of sweetgreen in general but the quality of this location just isn't up to par anymore. I order through the app multiple times per week and over the last few months, I noticed they got the order wrong more and more frequently until it's now wrong almost every time. Sweetgreen customer service is great about correcting mistakes if you contact them and will reimburse you for the salad ingredients that were missing, but who has time to complain about incorrect salads every time? The staff I. The restaurant is apathetic and typically really slow to correct incorrect orders when you point it out. On top of that, they are frequently out of key ingredients for the salads, even when other nearby locations are not. read more

I love this place healthy and not one salad I don't like . I would say for 75 cents the bread is not needed the salads are big enough in size to fill most . The drink a bit pricey but they give you a cup for free water that's nice . In summer I enjoy the outdoor patio with umbrellas . read more

They are beyond amazing. This place not only makes my salads just how I like it but the level of customer service is dope ! The times I've been in here the team work environment is easily shown, all smiles to everyone, they are on top of their game. Great salads, quick and I find the customer service to be good. The fountain drinks are not the regular tea/soda, more like odd combinations of cucumber, ginger and grass. You have to know what you want when you are up the line, otherwise you'll get the "how do you not know what you want stare". They could use some fans in the place....between those behind the counters (working hard and sweating) and all the sweaty soul-cyclers, it can get kind of rank. read more

I typically love sweetgreen, but this is the worst sweetgreen I have ever been to. It has the slowest service. There were about 12 people working in the back and only one employee making salads with a line out the door. When we got to the front of the line after 30 minutes of waiting, there were no vegetables in stock. On top of this, the restaurant as a whole was dirty. When I went to get water it was not clean and hot. They need to fix this sweetgreen before it loses all of its business. read more

This lunch spot is my go to. Sweetgreen is a fast salad bar that is full of healthy choices. It not only have fresh greens, but also has tasty dressings that help build the best salad ever! Went there today for lunch and was not disappointed- Made two salads with both chicken bacon tons of veggies and cheese- it came to $23. Was it pricey- a bit- but what do you expect from fresh real ingredients! I thought it was delicious and I will definitely be back! I really enjoyed their Jonah Crab Salad so much that I came back the next day to get the same salad and will probably go back today. The one downside that I will say (although this does not have nothing to do with the food) is that I wish there were more salad places in regular, middle class locations. I live in Rosi and it would be great to have a salad spot nearby. I found my calling: to eat sweetgreen's rad thai salad with an extra side of cashew dressing as much as possible for however long I live. But uh oh, I've been reading reviews and realize this salad might disappear from the menu. EEK. I am not sure what I will do then. I know much of the draw is the dressing and in the summer, I did enjoy the arugula on whatever it was on or in and that is gone, yes it is....hmmm. A tricky problem of wanting to do the seasonal thing but then risking pissing everyone off by people's favorites constantly disappearing. I love this place but have yet to sample everything on the menu. I love their drinks. I love their compostable ware. Do I remember correctly that they also have a separate bin for recyclables? I only wish all consumers would WAKE UP and use this bin!!! I like the spiffy staff and hope they get paid really well which would reflect what seems to be sweetgreen's desire to do business differently, modernly, responsibly. I love their board stating where their food comes from. I love the cookbooks and real, live plants all over the place. I love the "yes" to everything I ask for from the workers. I love the bathroom. Sweet green can claim that they were the first place to get me excited to have a salad. When you see the line of people you figure they must have something exciting going on. They don't accept cash which is supposed to help make things efficient. Not always the case when your behind a grandmother who is trying to learn how to pay with the app. My favorite is the Mexican corn bowl but I think you'll be happy with any selection. read more

We have been ordering take out from here for the past year. I would say that our orders are correct 75% of the time but a quarter of the time they are off and when they are off they are really off. Today for example we ordered two Kale Caesars but neither came with romaine. The dressing was mixed in but not the lime and the Harvest bowl had quinoa (my daughter is allergic) instead of rice. Sweet Green is just too inconsistent and too expensive for us to return. read more

If you're a food delivery driver for DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, ETC... do not accept sweetgreens here in Chestnut Hill. You'll have to wait more then 15 minutes to get the order. I got a door dash order for sweetgreens right after I accepted to pick up another order from a restaurant right next to the place at 7. I first picked up my first order at 7:03 and then I went into sweetgreens. The order wasn't ready yet. I waited and waited. By 7:55pm the order was finally ready. Waited almost an hour for a door dash order with only 2 items. I am not pleased on this place on how slow this sweetgreens is with 15 employees. There were also other delivery drivers waiting for more then 20 mins also. read more

I LOVE this place - the concept, the food, the prices! I had never been to a sweetgreen before this one opened and was very excited to try it out. I'm a huge fan of the Kale Caesar salad and with the fresh ingredients and the $8.75 price tag who wouldn't be?! While I'm a creature of habit, my sister has tried a number of other salads that are offered and has had no complaints! The reason I can't give this location 5 stars is because of the service. While I've never personally had a problem, it's definitely evident that some people that work there may need a bit more training. As it gets crowded very quickly, I'm not sure the lunchtime rush is the time to be teaching new team members how to make various salads. That being said, the staff has always been very nice to me and I do try to take into consideration that they recently opened this location and everyone has to learn at some point! Overall, fantastic! I LOVE Sweetgreen. I have so many stories I could tell about why it's a wonderful place (and honestly, each of their locations is consistently awesome) but this particular location is my favorite. First, the salads are across the board incredible. I have never craved a salad before I came to Sweetgreen, and I have never thought of treating myself to a salad before Sweetgreen. But one day, all of that changed. I tried this salad place everyone was talking about after a hard day at work, and it was amazing. Their salads are delicious, healthy, AND gluten-free friendly (which for me is a huge thing, since I have a celiac and am severely allergic to gluten). When I went to this location a couple of weeks ago, I didn't know that Sweetgreen now only accepts payment through the app or credit card. I only had cash with me. After the manager himself made my salad (when I mentioned I had a severe gluten allergy, he swept in and took over rather than having another employee do it - not that they would have necessarily been less competent at it, but I knew the manager would definitely be on top of avoiding cross-contamination, so it was a nice gesture), he went to ring me up. When he found out I only had cash, he said it was on the house. It was an incredibly nice thing to do, especially after being so considerate and accommodating of my allergies. I love this place and recommend it 100000%. So I hope that you will say to your friends, "Lettuce go to Sweetgreen in Chestnut Hill!" (Bazinga.) read more

Get your legal team ready because my experience at Sweetgreen was absolutely not funny, delete your restaurant immediately or my lawyer will be in contact. On my most recent trip to this treacherous eatery, I ordered my usual: a Harvest bowl with leeks and medium dressing, unmixed, with bread on the side. When I returned home from my long work day during which I helped out underprivileged children, starving from not having eaten all day, I was looking forward to voring some delicious greenery. When I got home, I looked into my bag at my bowl, which supposedly can break down better than Thotiana can buss down yet still has a plastic lid, and to my dismay saw an extremely disappointing vision. Instead of my usual bowl, which consists of kale, chicken, apples, sweet potatoes, almonds, goat cheese, leeks, balsamic vinaigrette, and bread, my brown orbs saw ONLY kale, chicken, and goat cheese. Let me get this clear: as someone who has grown up with SEVERE dietary restrictions, receiving a meal as unbalanced as this one can seriously threaten my survival. Even if I were just a regular person (which I am not -- my mother tells me I'm very special), this bowl would have been a disgrace to the honor of my entire bloodline. If bowl is named after a harvest, it's named after Ireland's harvest in 1845. I received 3 of the 9 ingredients, giving this bowl a grade of 33.3333333333333...%, which is an F! F for Failure!! I called Sweetgreen to demand they take accountability for this crime, but they said they would only make a new bowl if we went back and brought the old bowl back. This was simply unacceptable! First, I should receive this bowl AND a new one for free. Second, it was extremely insensitive of them to assume that I would be able to simply drive back. Not everyone can afford a car or gas money, especially, when they have to pay for three kid's child support. Because of this, I was forced to eat this despondent "salad." It was so skimpy that I was so hungry after that I had to eat an entire bag of Lay's Salt and Vinegar chips. This was extremely detrimental to my diet, and I am appalled that a supposedly "healthy" restaurant like this forced me to eat so unhealthily. To make matters worse, these chips were supposed to feed my three kids for the next four days. Overall, this experience was almost as trying as my service in the Great War (that's the Great War against misogyny, aka the Women's March. Reach out to me for more info!). This was my first time at SweetGreen. I wasn't excited but my girlfriend convinced me to go and said it would be ok. All I can say is WOW. What a great place. The staff is amazing; they're friendly, helpful, and passionate. Mr. Razzle Dazzle delivered an incredible salad/rice combo dish with sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, and chicken. So I visited this location before and the food is pretty good, however the service is abysmal. The people don't say a word to you. They just expect you to know what's going on. The second time I visited this location, not only was the service even worse than it was the time before but they were also out of the blackened chicken and avocado - two of the most popular things on the menu I'm sure and they should plan for this to happen and order more. After the disappointment that they didn't have two main ingredients, the girl at the counter continued to look at me like I had two heads when I asked for a bag to put my bowl in and then when I had to ask for my receipt, my god you'd have thought I asked her to give me a million dollars: if you have a choice, avoid this place: the food is mediocre at best and the service is not worthy of your money. read more

Please go here if you want to order a salad, get yelled at by the staff, and not be able to eat your food. The staff was hostile to the customers. My favorite part is what happened when a customer a few people in front of me asked for a fork. Two of the staff told her that they ran out. They then said it's not their fault - "its the stores fault". They started laughing about a customer the day before who "gave attitude" about not having a fork - so evidently this happens quite often. Let me start off by saying this was my first time to Sweetgreen and the salad I ordered was delicious. However, I will not frequent this place. I basically stepped out of my car and was already in line. Secondly, my salad cost $17...it's fucking lettuce in a bowl. Now I realize I am a bit of a savage and ordered double chicken, but still. Their profit margins must be through the roof. If their salads were closer to $10 and line was reasonable I would be back soon, but for now I'll find other options. read more

This place makes me want to eat salad every day! All of their ingredients are so fresh and they are all locally sourced. They are a small chain and I just wish that there were more in Massachusetts considering the only two locations are a little far from where I live. While the salad can be a little pricey (depending on what you get or any add-ons), they are totally worth it. They have some staple combos on the menu that are there year round such as their Kale Caesar which is a great twist on the typical Caesar salad. I typically go for their seasonal mixes, like the OMG Omega which I had recently and absolutely loved! I substituted the tomatoes (I'm not a huge fan of them) for sweet potatoes and raw corn--a great decision as both add-ons enhanced the flavor of the salad. If you want a little more substance then I would try one of the grain bowls, which come loaded with grains (anything from farro to quinoa), greens, veggies, and protein. Just be prepared to try different things as ingredients vary depending on the season. My sister went in recently expecting to add bacon to her salad, but was disappointed to find that they had substituted it for another protein that was more in season such as wild mushrooms or steelhead trout. Regardless, her salad was excellent! Lastly, watch out for the lunch rush! Sweet Green is a popular stop for quick food during lunch breaks or more casual get-togethers. read more

I'm obsessed with sweetgreen. Brought my mom here for the first time the other night after Soul Cycle and she loved it. I made a custom salad - half arugula, half kale, Brussels sprouts, onions, tomatoes, avocado, goat cheese, shrimp & medium miso sesame dressing - which was amazing.
