Let me tell you something about Maria's Kitchen. Very nice place. Very nice. You walk in and right away you feel it. Chill. Relaxed. Not trying to be fancy, not trying too hard. Just good, honest food. I like that. The person at the cashier? Fantastic. Very attentive, very friendly. Great hospitality. Now the menu. Lots of options. My son wanted something simple, a cheeseburger with ketchup. Classic kid move. They made it exactly how he wanted it and let me tell you... he demolished that burger. Completely gone. Me? I saw the calzones and I said, that's what we're doing today. Ordered the small calzone and wow. Delicious. Very flavorful, very filling, and honestly the size was impressive. If that's the small, I can't even imagine the large. I demolished it. The place itself looked clean, felt clean, which is always important. Ambience is laid back. Nothing crazy, just comfortable. Exactly the kind of spot you want when you're hungry and want good food without the fuss. Only one small thing. And I mean small. I wish they gave a little more marinara sauce with the calzone. That sauce is good, and the calzone deserves more of it. But overall? Great experience. Great food. Good people. I definitely recommend Maria's Kitchen and I will absolutely be back. I would give this place negative stars if that was an option. I order chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese which was my last meal before a medical procedure. Maria's Kitchen has some of the best pizza I've had in a while, and despite a hiccup with my order, I'll definitely be coming back. I initially received the wrong size pizza not once, but twice which was frustrating. However, what really stood out was how their customer service handled the situation. I spoke with a gentleman who was polite, patient, and genuinely eager to make things right. He offered me the option of having a new pizza sent the next day or waiting while they remade my correct order right away. I chose to wait, and the replacement arrived within a very reasonable time. I ordered food from Maria's quite a while back and was pleased - especially with their lemon chicken though it has only chicken - a lot of it - but all chicken. I ordered onion rings this time - they really need to update their online menu as the menu said they are $3.75 and they're actually $5.25 for a small order. They were overdone and you could taste all the grease from the fryer and it's early Monday evening! You would think they would start off the week with fresh oil. Anyway, have had the onion rings years ago and enjoyed them but way too overdone and greasy now. read more

I've been meaning to come here because I live in the area and walked by the new construction several times before they opened this year. I was happy that we stopped in to have dinner. The place is brand new and immaculate and my husband has already eaten there before so this was a real treat for me. I tried the $15 lamb chops which was accompanied with roasted potatoes, pita bread, and a small greek salad. I certainly enjoyed my chops since all of them were gone in two seconds and they gave a generous amount of potatoes which my husband helped me eat. I sampled some chicken kebabs and it was so good. The potatoes have a lemon tart rosemary and oregano flavor... Very healthy. We were lucky to sit down since they primarily do a lot of takeout. It was very nice. What's nice about the menu is that they have regular takeout food like burgers and salads and pizza. I haven't tried them yet but if I'm in a mood I certainly will give them a shot. read more

I stopped in since awhile I was there. Noticed prices way higher? 16.00 for club sandwich. I ordered a grilled shrimp wrap. Nothing to write home about. Shrimp needed seasoning paprika, pepper, garlic, anything to have a taste. Lettuce, tomato, onions all bland ... what was missing was a Greek salad dressing or anything dressing... saw new people operating .. maybe new owners? I'll try again and if lousy again.... This joint is jumping! Maybe a little too jumping. (Had to wait well beyond the 40 minutes we were told our order would take.) They were so busy! The system for tracking orders does not seem ideal--they ask for your name and then assign your order a number. When you give your name they are all confused while they do the name to number conversion again. All that aside, the pizza was great! Hot, flavorful, very fresh ingredients. Great Greek crust. I made her a grilled cheese. She also wanted fried dough with no cinnamon so that's what I ordered, NO cinnamon. Guess what I got? CINNAMON! Clearly someone isn't paying attention. We ordered the Tuesday dinner special, Pastichio (Greek version of lasagna, if you will) and it was AMAZING. I've been lucky to have a lot of delicious Greek food in my life, and this was beyond!
