Finally got a chance to visit this place. Found this place on tik tok a while back but they used to close by 5pm so there was no way I was making it. Luckily they changed the hours to 8pm. I was lucky enough to stop by when the owner was there. Very sweet and friendly person! She mentioned they will be changing hours soon since it is getting darker earlier. Completely understand for safety reasons. I grabbed the tres leche cake to go. It is a beautiful place to sit down and eat but I had to head back to work. After a $1 ish tip the total was about $13. How was the cake? AMAZING! So delicious. But, I cannot forget about the pricing. I should have taken a picture of the size but for me, it is too small for the price. Had to give four stars because the owner was sweet, beautiful bakery and delicious cake!

I tried four of their tres leches flavors: 4 leches, cookies and cream, sweet potato pie and apple pie, and every single one was delicious. I also grabbed the iced 4 leches latte, and it was the perfect sweet treat. The shop has a cozy, vibrant vibe and the kind of warm service that makes you want to come back. You can feel the passion in every bite and sip. I doubt anything here will disappoint your tastebuds.

Best Tres leches in town! A lot of different flavors, moist and delicious! My fav is Cuatro leches, and second best is strawberry one. The location is great to do light work and chill vibes.

Where do I begin? My Four Leche was amazing. Flavor explosion. I just wanted to smile while eating it. The young lady behind the counter is super nice. Full of personality and welcoming. The way you expect to be greeted. Kudos to her. The store decor is well suited for the theme. This is where you come when that sweet tooth kicks in or after dinner for a date. If you haven't visited the location. Add it to your calendar and make it happen. Definitely returning to try more offerings. Need more stars to give!!!

I came here and I must say, I was unsure of what to expect. First I was in the area which is why I stopped by. So I ordered the cuarto leche latte and that was amazing. I still think about how delicious it was. Secondly we ordered two different flavors of tres leche, I ordered the regular and my niece ordered Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor. I liked my cake but I wanted to try other flavors like passion fruit or guava. The cake was fine had alot of liquid but I would have liked the texture of the cake to be more airy and the frosting of the cake was different than the other tres leche which I have tasted. The employees were very nice and patient because I didn't know what I wanted. The place is very nice and I would definitely recommend staying there to enjoy your dessert. It was pricey but I understand a lot of things have gone up so it is a nice treat. I will definitely come back to try other flavors. Overall I liked my experience and the cake was good.

The ambiance is very pretty, smells absolutely amazing in there just like the aromas of vanilla and coffee just spreading around the entire place. The front service girls were very friendly and pleasant, kind and patient I was behind another girl in line and as she received her order she pointed out something she may have not wanted and the girl working the front fully acknowledged if she wanted that item and the girl responded no and immediately issued a refund and I thought that was pretty great to see! I got the pistachio tres leche and it was tasty! No dogs allowed though and I went in alone since my partner and I couldn't go in together because he was holding our puppy! Overall good experience!

Yummy in my tummy! There's really no place in Brooklyn that sells different flavor tres leches. Could be pricey to some but I usually go when I craving. Cutest interior and everything is super neat. Love the vibrant colors of the space. Service was great and they'll give you recommendations if you can't decide which flavor to get.

Got the 4 Leches Cake, their classic. It was good but for the price, it may be a bit too pricey for me to return on a regular basis. The interior is adorable. Very thoughtful design of the space and takes full advantage of its inviting colors.

I've been seeing this all around social media about how amazing it is and finally got to try it this weekend. I got the pina colada tres leches cake and the 4 leches cake. The pina colada one was interesting with bits of pineapple and coconut flakes on top but flavor wasn't great. The 4 leches which seems like their top hit was also just way too sweet. The cakes were too dense. Unfortunately, they are not worth $12. I also ordered their 4 leches latte which was pretty good! It gave this place an additional star. It was empty when we went so there were seating and definitely a very pretty place.

Cute small shop. Ordered the blueberry matcha latter which was amazing and different. Also ordered 3 different cakes: 4 leches, biscoff and chocolate. The favorite was definitely the 4 leche. It was more wet and less cakey than expected or used to. Service was fast though there was no one there and server gave good recommendations based on what was popular. I will add that the bags need to be reinforced as 3 cakes in there tore the bag and I dropped the cakes on my walk back to the car so be careful when carrying more then two as it seems to be too much weight for the bag.

I walked in here with deep conditioner in my hair feeling a hot mess but the barista was welcoming! Thank you for a judgement free zone, you've passed the vibe check lol! The barista was ready to give me recommendations upon entry(God bless you boo) ~ I did my research and knew what I was there for Pleasant staff. The ambiance is amazing! The bright interior design boosted my mood IMMEDIATELY! I ordered an iced lavender matcha with oatmilk and the red velvet cake. Scrumptious, tasty, delightful. ALL OF IT! Thank you for making my day ~ I will be back and dressed in pink ‍ I love it here

Sweets and things is an authentic Dominican bakery specializing in tres leches. The owner Yesenia does an amazing job at making flavored Tres leches like Guava (hot menu item), Biscoff, 4 Leches, And Much More... Before we talk about the sweets, let's talk about the decor. From the pastel walls to the colorful furniture to the holiday/seasonal decor. The ambiance and aesthetic of Sweets & Things was unmatched. I tried the classic cuatro leches, guava, and biscoff. Each one was creamy, sweet, and succulent. If you have a sweet tooth this is the SPOT. Many clients were coming in and asking for guava, which was selling fast! Also, flavors tend to be seasonal so make sure to stop by if you see a flavor you like and availability. Staff are really nice and helpful. Make sure to say Hi to Yesenia. The bakery also offers a variety of other sweet treats and if you're looking for a unique gift, they offer custom cakes and coquito (fun flavors). During my next visit I hope to try the Ube Flavor. Overall, I highly recommend Sweets and Things to anyone with a sweet tooth. The combination of delicious treats, beautiful decor, and friendly staff makes it a must-visit destination!

I perused the available cake (and pie) slices and other smaller baked goods, but did not see the Blackout Cake Slice! When I asked the staff, they regretfully informed me that they did not have slices that day, so I went with the next best option... an 8" cake! I didn't get any writing on the cake, as I already had a Happy Birthday candle, and I didn't want to add extra icing to the cake. I liked how well they package the cake. The box was large enough, and they line the bag with a thin piece of cardboard to stabilize the box. I'm not a big sweets person, but I enjoyed the chocolate-y richness of the cake. The cake itself was moist and the pudding held everything together well. I would be back to try their Strawberry Shortcake and other desserts.

I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert!
