    Two scoop sorbet
    Carina H.

This is a small, cozy dessert shop with soft couches, a record player, and records in the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering any questions we had. I ordered a two-scoop sorbet, which was an okay size for the price. The watermelon and cherry sorbet flavors were refreshing.

The service here is amazing. The shop itself is decorated so well. And the food and drinks here are equally great. This is a great little spot when you're walking around Brooklyn to stop and take a minute to relax. I wish I would've gotten the gelato but I had just eaten and really wasn't feeling gelato yet. I ended up just getting a lemonade and a chocolate croissant to have as a quick dessert. The croissant was made perfectly and it was soft and flaky. The lemonade tasted freshly squeezed, homemade. Did I stop in here because of the name of the shop and the equally as good Hollywood movie about Serendipity? Maybe. But did I love this little spot and go back later for gelato after my meeting? That will be a mystery only I and the staff know.

Can't go wrong with the freshly made gelato! We couldn't decide which flavors to get - the owner was happy to assist us and let us sample the flavors. We ended up picking watermelon, lychee, and stracciatella. It was a weird combo (the result of two people liking different ice cream flavors), but tasted sooo good. We enjoyed the cute little touch of adding tiny cones and frozen chocolate syrup on top of the ice cream. We will come back to try other stuff.

The service is AMAZING!!! We called because the shop was about to close and she graciously stayed open past hours for us. She detailed how all the gelato is made in the store with the freshest ingredients and i definitely tasted it. The pistachio and saffron flavors together are the move!!! All the other flavors tried were amazing too, but I super recommend those, especially since pistachios and saffron are expensive ingredients! The decor is really cool inside too with some spots to sit and an outdoor seating area. Great ambiance! Cant recommend it enough and I'll be back very soon.

What a cute place to have stumbled upon while heading to the J from brunch. They're serving up sweet treats, fresh juices, and caffeinated drinks. I opted to get an affogato with saffron gelato. The gelato flavoring was good although the flower pods throughout limited east enjoyment. What easily made up for it was the espresso. This little cafe is cranking out a mean espresso and I'm so glad I opted for a double shot. This neighborhood generally has mud water that passes for coffee, but this spot is keeping my hope alive. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor opts for style over format so I can see it getting cramped if multiple groups come at one time. The two women working were very pleasant and for everything to be made on the spot (including the very freshly pressed juice my friend ordered) I'd consider it to be quick service albeit not grab and go service.

We decided to come here right after having lunch in the area. Once you walk in, it feels like you're elsewhere. The ice cream shop is decorated with an eclectic feel. I also like how the lady that is behind the counter is so friendly and hospitable. She thought someone in the group was injured and immediately took out a first aid kit. We explained it wasn't that serious but thanked her profusely. She was very nice and let us sample the different items. There weren't that many choices, but I can see why as the flavors are all made by hand. I tried the saffron, and she explained the process in making it and gave us all samples. I also tried the watermelon, and it was so refreshing on a hot day. In the end, I chose the cherry, which was refreshing, and reminded me a little like the watermelon flavor. I also got the yogurt, which she put a jam type of topping on it for me to give it some flavor. All in all, I would go back if I'm in the area to give them some support. Just bring some wipes for your hands as they get sticky in the end.

Lovely ambiance and amazing gelato! Our server let us try several samples. We decided on stracciatella ice cream, would recommend! The Nutella flavor was also delicious. Service - 5/5 As much samples as we asked! She was friendly and helpful. Even added extra chocolate syrup on top! Food - 5/5 The gelato was fresh and handmade. The variety of flavors was hard to choose because they all were so good. Ambiance - 5/5 The decor was elegant and welcoming. Plenty of lounge chairs and table to dine-in

They say eating certain amounts of chocolate equate to the feeling of love. I say it's Gelato, lol. I say that now that I've stopped by this place. I was full when I came in with friends after a big lunch. Just looking for a hot chocolate. My friends had various flavors of gelato, and I got curious. The lady over the counter was kind enough to give me samples. Wow, the taste buds exploded. I had the Peach and Strawberry. Again, I was full and had both and the hot chocolate. I definitely recommend it. Mostly a to go place unless you're up for a sidewalk outside seating. ..but the cute old celebrity photos inside give it a nice ambiance.

Stopped by here for some frozen, creamy, post-dinner goodness. The saffron ice-cream was divine. Love that their other flavors are more unusual and spice/herb-focused.

This place is a must add for ice cream spots. The lady at the counter is SO SWEET and they have some of the freshest and best ice cream I've had. Get the pistachio and the saffron. She puts real pistachios on top to add texture and extra flavor! Solid portions for everything as well! The lychee was also incredible. Really cute ambiance and decor as well

The owners were so lovely! They make everything with natural ingredients from scratch and you can definitely tell. They let us taste about half the flavors fruit-based flavors, all of which were delicious and super fresh (and I'm picky about my gelato). Even though the fruit flavors were tasty, my favorite was definitely the pistachio! The place itself was cute with a huge black and white photo, little framed photos, trunk stools, and little decorative lights. They even added extra of each scoop on top with an edible flour and cookie for garnish -- super cute.

Cannoli - perfect amount of sweetness, cream is light, has chocolate chips and apricot which adds a nice subtle citrus flavor.

This is one of my favorite spots to study/ hang out. From the food to the coziness and the hospitality. A lot of the food is imported from Italy, the coffee and pastries. The gelato is made in house with ingredients imported from Italy. The cookie butter is so good! I got a cannoli which was the perfect amount of sweetness with the nice texture of the crispy shell and light cream. The avocado toast is light and tasty, comes in a full (2 toasts) or a half pictured here. The coffee is delicious, foamy, and strong. The mocha latte was yummy with fresh chocolate making it velvety and smooth. Lastly, the staff is very hospital, you pay after and there is table service. Rose, the owner of the cafe is a beautiful sweet person, it shows in the vibe of the spot. Highly recommend!

Came into try out a new place. It's cute decor inside. Gelato is so so. We trusted a good review thought more softer than tasted. Gelato was similar tasted like a man selling it on the street although it's not a same. it was a homemade gelato.....we felt this was more close to Sorbet. Waffle core was old. :( we thought the lady servers friendly and kind but all of the sudden one of the server came to me saying " you can't put your bag here.( meaning to another couch) No one was sitting inside except for us..... then, She started to tell me she had to move the chairs to the walls cuz other customers can't see the gelato.....others????? There was No other customers around actually. Before, moving the chairs yes.....We felt like she was attacking us. I hope the better customer service come for futures. There's No bathroom inside. If you're coming here by train, you'll have to find other options to go to the place have a bathroom for you. No AC when I was there.

While the place is pretty cute aesthetically, the service was awful. I had made a reservation since that's what's recommended by the establishment and everyone we interacted with was pretty unpleasant. In addition, the cake tasted old and so freezer burnt that we had one bite and discarded the rest. Nothing about it was appealing. Worst of all no one seemed to want to wait on us so we spent the whole time trying to flag someone down so we left cash on the table for everything and left. Dispute all this we decided to still tip 30% since our order was so small and we wanted to be courteous. 15 mins later I get an extremely rude phone call from the restaurant immediately accusing me of leaving without paying! They didn't even have the decency to check the table without immediately assuming and being unbelievable disrespectful. Still in disbelief about the entire experience, would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

The menu changes constantly and you can find the latest menu on their Instagram stories which they update daily. As a rule of thumb, plan to get dessert. The dark chocolate tiramisu slice we were served was healthy in size, rich in flavor and perfect to split between the two of us. I tend to order 3 dishes (one protein and two side dishes) when coming in with a friend. The dishes are always a reminder of how simple ingredients can be combined to create fantastic flavors. As a note, the Chicken Cutlet was perfectly crisp and now I feel inclined to stop in for lunch and grab a sandwich. The wines are definitely selected by someone who has a preference for funky I almost want to say musky flavors. Never really found something there that I liked which is the only drawback to this place. Get a reservation, this place can be packed very quickly. It's also good for small groups, I've seen many a birthday dinner take place here.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked.
