The Clay Purl is the real deal! Being one of a handful of folks in town allowed us some one-on-one time with the really nice lady working at The Clay Purl. She was so sweet to listen to anecdotes about inheriting all kinds of old skool acrylic materials from my crafty grandmother and had some really good ideas of where to donate materials that I would not personally use. Admittedly, it had been too long since I had picked up my own hooks and needles, and she sweetly encouraged me to do so. I plan to return once I have dusted off my hook and picked a project. I noticed miniature houses/rooms recreated by the owner who spent time as a curator of furnishings for a New York museum. I also found puzzles and pencils and a diverse group of items that may work as a gift or as a conversation piece in your home. I put in a $300 order on March 25th and didn't get an order confirmation email. However, the funds showed as pending on my credit card. I still hadn't heard anything on March 27th, so I reached out to Yellow Door Quilt Store on Facebook Messenger. Received a one word reply: Monday. Monday came and went, and I messaged Wednesday asking if they had shipped. Crickets. I messaged again at the end of Wednesday telling them if I didn't hear from them by end of day Thursday, I was filing a dispute with my credit card. Crickets. Thursday afternoon, today, I saw that they had seen my message in Messenger, and asked, No reply? They immediately responded saying they didn't have the inventory and had cancelled the transaction so no dispute was necessary. I looked at my CC and sure enough, it had been refunded the day previous. I asked why they had said they were shipping Monday, and they answered that they were going to CHECK on Monday, and apologized for not telling me Tuesday that they didn't have the inventory. Close your damn web store.

They worked hard to get the replacement within the time frame promised. They arrived and not only replaced the glass in the patio door, they also repaired a couple of items I had concerns with regarding the door setup. They fixed the door for about 1/5th of what I was quoted for a new door. Great company to do business with.
