I feel the rates are absolutely fair I reserved for two hours Meeting Christine at the pick up location at Lacamas Lake was easy and seamless. It's a great set up for people that may have mobility issues, like myself. I was able to get in and out of the kayak with ease if you're only going out for an hour, I would say head over under the bridge over to round where a lot of SUP activity is going on. this is a fun family, friendly adventure read more

This is a simple shipping container based stand up paddle board and kayak rental business. Walked up, rented two kayaks, used said kayaks for 2 hours, brought them back. Easy and painless experience. I would HIGHLY recommend reservations during the summer months. Prices vary depending on the season. Pros: their kayak dock made getting in and out of the kayaks super easy. The lake offers a nice variety of places to explore. Cons: Parking here can be difficult. We were lucky to find a spot even in early May before the crowds really start to get crazy. This little place is great. Just did out first kayaking experience with them. We did the tandem kayak for 2 hours, all where very friendly. We signed the waivers and the kayak was waiting at the launch area on the lake. We accidentally booked 2 tandem kayaks, we called them the day before our appointment and they where happy to help us fix the mistake. Will definitely use them again. read more

Just call Sweetwater a little in advance when you want to rent. It is so easy. A quick bit of paperwork, then walk down to the dock and be helped into your​ kayak. They even had a waterproof sack for my phone. Lacamas Lake is beautiful. A lovely place to paddle for an hour or two. When I returned, I was helped out of my boat, turned in my paddle and PFD, and that was it. read more

Easy reservations on line and at a great price. The lake is calm and very scenic. The route to get into the area is congested due to road construction. This was a great experience. The staff was smiling and friendly when we arrived. They held our belongings for us while we went out and they offered dry bags for our phones. They gave us great instructions and helped us get started. They were there at the dock to great us when we came back. Awesome service! A good value for the money too $40 each for 2 hours. It was so fun. The lake is really nice and scenic and large. We definitely enjoyed our visit and I highly recommend this place. read more

This place is very unorganized drive all the way out to paddle board with friends and they double booked so my friends couldn't stay on there board when I got out there when they originally asked if they could stay longer, and was told no problem .Also they didn't know where there equipment was I was waiting to even go out cause they didn't have a paddle. On the plus side they did offer us a free rental next time after ruining my day not sure if I will go back read more

You can reserve kayaks and SUP's online or via phone. It's easy, and a reasonable price. When you get to the park, there really isn't a sign. Just a folding table with some people with shirts on and a bunch of birds and life jackets. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff though, and the paperwork only takes a few minutes. They guide you to where to put-in and they'll even show you what to do. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced folks! Ill be back! read more

We were lucky enough to get two hours on stand up paddle boards on Memorial weekend pretty last minute. The staff were flexible when we were going to be a little bit late. Once we arrived it was just a couple minutes later and we were on the water! The check in, paperwork stuff didn't take long at all. They even provided a life vest and dry bag at no additional cost. This place acts like they own the lake, over crowding the dock to a point it's a safety issue. The owner is out on the dock telling all the kayak/water board renters to come up the one and only loading dock, disregarding everyone else in the water. My fiancé was trying to undock and was patiently waiting, then when we finally had a opening, she quickly told one of her customers to get in front of her and she actually hit her with the kayak because of the workers direction to get in front of her. This lake and dock where here way before this company was but for some reason they act like they own it all, and that attitude rubs off on the customers who think they're the only ones on the water. Sad this company is ruining what once was a nice and quite place to relax.. read more

I have been out with Sweetwater SUP a few times now - all have been wonderful experiences. Staff is knowledgeable and will help you with anything you need and will help you learn how to feel comfortable on the boards. They keep an eye out on the lake and make recommendations if it is busy/windy to go to calmer areas and the best paths to get to those places. Booking ahead is good to make sure you get the number of boards/kayaks you want but they do their best to accommodate walk-ins as well when you get that urge to hit the water.
