I think this is the best quesadilla in town! I got a regular quesadilla with pork (no pico) and their mild jalepeno ranch and it was incredible! I went on Wednesday and I'm already planning a trip back for Sunday . Everything on the menu looked delicious too! It came out within a few minutes and was brought to my table. I walked here, so I can't really speak to parking, but I did see people parking in a lot behind and across the street from The Wash. I ordered the Sweeza Super Quesadilla with vegan chorizo as my protein choice. Wow oh wow it was so good. There were so many flavors packed into each bite. On paper, it sounds like it would be overload, but in execution, all of them worked so well together. The vegan chorizo was so delicious (plant-based chorizo can be a toss-up). The avocado slices were perfectly ripened. The chihuahua cheese was plentiful. And the salsa fresca and crema rounded out each bite with a cool, refreshing finishing touch. The large tortilla was grilled to the perfect crisp. The side of salsa verde was good, but the quesadilla was so good that it really didn't need it. Overall, it was one of the best Tex Mex taco/burrito/quesadilla that I've had in Nashville in a long time. I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu. One note if you're reading this in the winter: The Wash does not have indoor seating. The outdoor patio is heated, but the seating area is not enclosed and the heaters were not heating the area that well. Just something to consider if you're cold-natured like me. Bundle up! read more

Um, WOW! Talk about a hidden gem! Sweeza is serving up authentic, Cali-inspired Mexican food. This is going to be our new go-to, for sure. We'd been to the Wash before to pick up Eastside Pho, and made a mental note to add this spot to our list. I can't believe we waited so long! I placed an order online on a Saturday afternoon, and it was ready for pick-up in less than 30 minutes. You can also opt to eat on the patio at the Wash, or at Bay 6. I wanted to try as much as possible - so we ordered a few different things to share. The Rolled Tacos filled with shredded pork were my absolute favorite: crispy on the outside, meaty on the inside, and topped with fresh salsa and lettuce. Both sauces served on the side (red and green) were incredible for dipping. My husband's favorite was the Don Juan Special, which is a double steak quesadilla filled with French fries and fried jalapeños. It's also served with a side of Mexican rice and beans. We also had a few bites of the Adobo Chicken burrito, which was delicious! Packed full of flavorful mix-ins and saucy chicken. The value is spot on as well - you get a lot of food for the price. It's expensive but you get a decent amount of food, I'm pretty small it was like two meals worth for an order. However, I have come here many times and occasionally I will have a bit of a stomach ache afterward, I assume simply a result of some spicy sauces they provide. This time however, myself and my friend both had fevers, body aches, vomiting and non stop diarrhea for the last 6 days. They brought me so much joy! You may be asking, can you make it at home, and the answer is no. You need all of the fresh ingredients. You need the right cheese to meat ratio. You need the right crunch on the tortilla. My better half had the burrito and he said it hit the spot. Again, it's about the right ingredients, compiled well, and rolled tight. We ordered online and at pick up added more items lol. Got the Peach Tajin Paletas I'm not a Tajin person i feel like it can be overpowering something but it complements the peaches very well. The strawberry aqua fresca is a nice refreshing drink. The quesadilla comes with a verde sauce that is really good. It has a nice kick at first and then simmers out as you continue eating it. I paid $21 after tax and tip for the quesadilla and drink and then the Paletas was $3.95 i believe. It's located in an old car wash which is super cute. Its probably a nice vibe at night time. Visiting Nashville from out of town. So apparently there is no specific indoor eating, but you can go to the small bar - Bay 6 next door to eat and drink, which actually was amazing! William who took our order even brought it over! We got the Don Juan Especial and the loaded bean dip. The quesadilla was large and delicious and the nacho dip was excellent. I was really excited to try out this place, as I long for something that comes anywhere close to the glory of the San Francisco's own El Farolito and their legendary quesadilla Super Suiza. This was a copy of the original version of it that just made me downright sad. Mexican food is supposed to be inexpensive and for the people, as it's ingredients are inexpensive. This place took the liberty to not only up charge on SF prices by a good bit, but UPCHARGED FOR CARNE ASADA, the main ingredient required for the quesadilla. This is a sign of the end of times, and something I never thought I'd live to see. A single Quesadilla, no drink for $16.95. Sadly, I won't be coming back unless they price things more fairly. This is a worse rendition on the original and not worth the price at all. Don't bother. Poorly ripping off Mexican food and up charging is not a recipe for success. read more

When they flipped the iPad around they informed that carne asada was an up charge of $3. A Cali burrito COMES WITH CARNE ASADA. That is part of the dish. $16 for a Cali burrito is insane.
