Tacos Al pastor huarache de pastor

This food was very delicious, and one of the most authentic flavors I have had. My mother is from Veracruz is it tasted very similar to her cooking! 10/10 the pastor is so delicious juicy and flavorful! You need to try.! Staff is very friendly.

Been here twice now and both times has been good. Both times I sat at the counter tops where they make the food. It's nice to talk to the chef and hear their story. I got the red snapper tacos and it was really good. And my friend got the chicken tacos. We enjoyed our meal. It was quick and the place is super cute. And it's next to one of my favorite bar so. Win win!

I've traveled all over Mexico and I love Mexican cuisine in Mexico. Unfortunately, most in the US is not authentic or interesting. But this restaurant takes me back there, to great creatively prepared wonderfully flavored well balanced food! I had the Mushroom tacos and the shrimp sope. The mushroom tacos were juicy, flavorful and delicious. The shrimp sope was piled high, hard to eat but also excellent! We also shared the Mexican rice and the corn. Yummo! We (5 of us) all loved what we had. It's a really special Mexican place. Oh, there is no alcohol available. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

Very intimate dining area with a small but incredible menu. Wish there were more vegetarian options but the Broccoli Tostata was to die for. Service was good and food came out very quickly. Really cool open kitchen set up and the decor and vibe felt elevated. Parking in the plaza is paid but there is also plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.

Delicious food, so flavorful. We went with the owner/chef's recommendations and he did not steer us wrong! Cute shop in the upper level of a shopping center. Validated parking too, which is great in Nashville!

Unique delicious experience! Parking: parking in the plaza can get a little challenging depending what time you go. There is plenty of street parking as well. Vibe: it's a very intimate, low lighting place with a limited but delicious menu. This is a super cute place for a date or meals with a group. Food: Absolutely loved the shrimp empanadas, whatever seasoning they had on the shrimp was fresh and full of flavor. The enchiladas had probably the best mole sauce I have ever had. EVER As a huge chilaquiles fan I was very surprised to see scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs on the dish, although very different from what I'm used to it was so crisp and well seasoned. Will definitely be back!

Unexpectedly delicious! My group shut this place down on a Sunday after finishing our St Paddy's day romp next door at the Coral Club. We rolled in pretty late about an hour before they closed. It was not busy so there was no wait. Our server was on & passed the vibe check. She was great & took care of my fully imbibed group with no trouble keeping waters full while the staff prepared to end the day. She even brought the rest of the horchata to the table for us to finish off after two people ordered a glass. They were out of chicken so for the mole enchiladas I subbed carnitas. I love mole & when it's on a menu I will usually order it. I highly recommend it here at Alebrije. It's perfectly balanced not overly sweet & a little smoky. I would have licked the plate clean but thankfully I retained some table manners despite my inebriated status. Finished up with a slice of tres leches. Their version was light & tasty. Not too saturated with the milks that you couldn't easily finish it yourself. Honestly, a perfect pairing to the heavier enchiladas with the mole forward base. Not sure when I'd be back around here for dinner but if I find myself in the area id definitely consider coming back. Food, service, environment all recommended.

DRINKS: The all-you-can-drink option adds $$ (I think $20-25/person), so it isn't cheap... but is worthwhile if your group loves Mimosa's, Vodka's, Bloody Mary's and fresh Fruit Juices. To their credit, Federales' service staff POURS THE DRINKS CONSTANTLY lol. They brought out bottle after bottle, esp for the Mimosa's. We enjoyed it and felt this was part of the experience there - chill out, sink into the vibe, enjoy live music and loosen up while sitting in a modern open-air concept with everyone around smiling and feeling good ... In conclusion, this rivals Adele's for my favorite Nashville brunch spot. The two have very different vibes, and I highly recommend checking out Federales!

This place came recommended from a friend and it seemed exciting to go to the restaurant of a singer! It is right in the heart of the downtown bar area. We had a very large group of people on a Saturday night. We had a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations. They seated us upstairs all together sort of at a row of tables separate but all on a row which worked out ok. We were there to celebrate a 21st birthday. They did say Happy Birthday but nothing special beyond that was given or provided which was a little disappointing but I think everyone in Nashville is celebrating something so I get it. Service was very good. Chips with salsa and guacamole was provided upon seating for everyone. When requested more was provided. We had one person who was Gluten Free and they appeared to take care in explaining options as well as answering any questions people had. Drinks were refilled and kept flowing (alcoholic ones). And for a busy Saturday night meals came out in a good timing. Everyone enjoyed their meal although one person had bitten into something hot and did not like it and they were happy to replace the meal. The meal that I had was fantastic! The steak quesadilla. The steak was tender and extremely flavorful. Honestly I had been a bit hesitant to order steak due to being very picky over steak quality. But I was very happy with it! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and at the end of the meal the server actually was ok with splitting up the ticket even tho we were a very large group which many many establishments refuse to do so this made me very pleased! Oh they had a live band playing on the first floor which was nice. There is an elevator at the back of the restaurant which is nice for those unable or just not wanting to climb a flight of stairs . The flower wall with the Nashville name on it made such a great backdrop for photos! They had two unisex bathrooms on the first floor. I would definitely recommend and go back to this place!
