I called in advance for their open hours and for any specific requirements beyond a mask. They let me know I needed to pay in advance and that dry cleaning is only done on Fridays. I measured the blanket before I took it in to make it easy for the clerk. Was in and out in about 2 minutes. Picked up finished dry cleaning on Saturday, again being in the storefront about 2 minutes. Blanket and sweater look great. Blanket was in a zipper container, perfect for storing until cold weather. I came here with a large load of wash and fold. I thought I paid for extra care. I guess I've been spoiled by immigrants in Eastern Mass., the clothes seem like they were washed on the hottest setting, that doesn't seem like extra care. If I'm a little annoyed it's because I've had to refold everything, not sure what was going on when my clothes were folded but, some of my shirts have enough creases to make to wonder if it's origami. I don't know what detergent they use but, it's pretty stinky. All in all, this business seems to be like a lot of stuff around here, mediocre service with regular city prices. read more

UPDATE: I never received a reimbursement from the manufacture. I tried and tried. This cleaner is ruined a $300 brand new dress because they decided to stick it in the washing machine instead of dry cleaning it like I paid for and then blamed the manufacturer. I even reached out to try and negotiate with them and would have been happy to take down all negative reviews if even a partial payment was made for the dress. I have not returned to Massachusetts to file a small claims but may. And I'm going to look into if they have status with the Better Business Bureau. read more

This was the worst laundromat experience ever! I happened to be in the area while a friend underwent an emergency procedure, nearby and decided to do her laundry as I waited. I hesitated once I realized how filthy, moldly and clogged the soap dispensers on one, after another machine were but finally found two that were the least disgusting and paid my $8.00 to start 2 loads, despite my trepidation. As the clothes were noisily spinning, a woman approached and and apologized for the squeaking and shaking. I responded that it was not an issue but that the moldy soap dispensers were something she should attend to instead. She became outraged, pacing and carrying on about how she had videos of the machines being cleaned and how her husband was disabled and what more could she do, etc. and that I should just leave, instead of trying to ruin her life. I was very much taken aback by her aggressiveness and both tried to show her that while I had washed my loads anyway, every other machine on my end was badly in need of attention. She refused to even look and that lack of regard prompted me to photograph the dispensers to show her across the room as she ranted at me. Realizing that neither was she the least bit concerned at how gross her machines were and after seeing her escalate, would ever have to see me again, I attempted to wait elsewhere, as my clothes dried. 20 minutes later, Not one but two Greendfield Police Officers, were called. When I saw them I asked, point blank "Did this woman really call you because I told her that her machines were clogged, moldy and needed attention?" And they answered "Yes and she wants you to take your clothes and leave." I did exactly that and drove away in disbelief. As a result of my attempt to bring the condition of her washers to her attention, in a passing matter of fact way, She escalated to aggression and along with her friend in a camo jacket, ranted about how hard it was to run a business! I very, very rarely post a negative review as I am very easy going and generally, a grateful person but this unique experience has caused me to want to warn people to take caution when laundering their clothes in an establishment that so devalues cleanliness or their customer's experience. There are far safer and more trustworthy laundromats, very nearby. I hope I can post photos here or elsewhere as no one would want that heck run through their clothes. I've used this laundromat for years, mostly out of convenience. It is close to downtown so I can take care of other chores while waiting on cycles. For the first time I used their dry cleaning services. I am greatly disappointed. A jacket I love and have worn for years came back shrunken. I approached them with my concern and they were very defensive and even implied that maybe I had an identical jacket that used to fit me??? At no point did they ask me what I expected as compensation. I found the exact same jacket online for $30. My family probably spends $500 a year washing laundry there. Not for a moment did they convey to me that they valued my business. Today I did my Laundry at a different laundromat. It was cheaper, and it was faster. read more

Not my first choice for laundry. Been here a few times because location is close. Machines are badly beat up. More are on the way, but so many are just out of order. I frequent many coin op laundromats and most have free wifi. Not this one. It is attached to Swift cleaners but sorely in need of upgrade. Everything is badly worn, not just the machines and laundry cost is same as others so no strong incentive to return. read more

This laundromat is horrible I don't recommend it to anyone. Half of the washers and dryers are out of order. I have a lot of laundry that needs to be done each time I go to the laundromat and it's really annoying when half of the langer washing machines aren't working. Then I go to use one of the small one's that doesn't have an out of order sign on it and of course, it eats my $3 and doesn't start. I had to take all the laundry out of it and use a different washing machine. I lost $3 and a cup of laundry detergent to that machine which didn't have an out of order sign on it. The laundromat isn't very clean, it has a discomforting oder to it, along with the out of order machines, it isn't an enjoyable experience. The laundromat on Federal Street that is attached to the tanning salon is wonderful and definitely my preference. The only reason I have been using Swift laundry is because they are open 24/7 and I work 3rd shift so by the time I wake up and get ready to do laundry usually the laundromat on Federal Street is closed. 1 star for being a 24 hour laundromat. read more

I only use this laundry facility when i wash my king sized quilts.(they dont fit in my washer at home) and also during summer months when our well doesnt fill. I have always been happy, never had an issue. Until today. I finished chores in my dairy barn, went to wash 3 king comf. I walked in, got change for bills, put blankets, soap and soft in machine, set timer on my phone, went to car to read a book. Owner came out as my dtr called, said my load was done, hope i wasnt drying them there, i said no idry them at home on the line. She told me that i smelled, everyone noticed how bad i smelled and not to come back to her laundry. She said everyone was complaining, thete was 1 other customer. She accused me of washing ANIMAL THINGS in her washer. She saw the comforters. They cost hundreds of dollars, i dont use them on cows!!!! I said it was me she smelled, i had just come from my barn. I went in her laundry and out, i did not stay for 5 minutes! She yelled at me never to come back there, because i smell bad. My best guess is she drinks milk from nuts or silk, and eats "i cant believe its not butter" and she doesnt care where REAL DAIRY PRIDUCTS come from. I was humiliated! I am a college graduate, i pay my bills and she treated me like dirt or shit, as it may be, under her feet. I will tell everyone i know Stay away from the " royal" swift cleaners !!!!!!
