Our car battery went kaput out of the bluest the weekend but luckily our insurance covered Assistance and they got us going again. It was clear we were going to need a new battery and the guy recommended Swift Roadside Assistance, he said they would come to us and were competitively priced. A few simple questions from Mauro and I got a quote right there and then. Not only that, they gave me an estimated time and called 20 minutes before they due to update me - they were even a few minutes early and called to let me know they had arrived at my property. I did some research online and what they were asking was indeed very competitively priced. He was done within 15/20 minutes and I was good to go - and it came with a two year warranty. A true blessing in disguise. I've never been so thankful in my life I was running to a family emergency in pouring rain, when I got my second flat tire that day. I had no spare or a way to patch it up. I requested help, and I had not been disappointed. He gave me a great quote and let me know what my options were depending on whether I had a spare or not. The take your money give you an ETA and then don't show up for an hour after that. I had DOT stop and would have helped me for free but I told them to leave because I didn't want to schedule and then bail on them. They didn't mind stringing me along at all. Call 911, most states have Highway Helpers that will help for the cost of whatever it is you need. I paid $220.00 on top of the cost of the 5galloms of gas he brought me and waited 5 times longer than I would have on DOT for free. read more
