Dirty sodas done right! They have a variety of combos to choose from. I got strawberry boujee and it was refreshing. I like their kids size, it was perfect for a hot day.

Loved the selection of fun sugary drinks! The girls had to stop and say they experienced "Swig" while in town for sports and got Raspberry Dreams! I loved my Mojito Mama! Refreshing for sure! The 2 lines for drive-thru were not quite as smooth as intended and the wait for our 2 drinks held up the line. Wish there were a few tables out to enjoy the beautiful day and far sought-after sweet treats.

I'm sooo happy we have a Swig location in slc, but it is such a pain to access. If you're going southbound, you either have to go past it and make a U-turn or turn left before it and circle around it in the neighborhood. Other than that, everything was great. Super nice employees!! The drive thru is set up well with two lanes so it moves pretty quickly. I got a Diet Coke with sugar free coconut, and it was as usual delicious. They have the best pebble ice. I also got a large water, and their water is super crisp. We tried their sweet 16 birthday cake cookies and they were good but definitely on the sweeter side! Super cute vibe here for their sweet 16!!

Hate the location (700E can be a nightmare) but we love Swig! We decided to stop by for sodas on our way home from a party. My husband tried the Heartthrob and I got my usual dirty soda with diet Dr. Pepper, coconut cream, and sugar free coconut syrup! FYI, this place is always so busy but the service is quick. The staff are super sweet and friendly, too!

I'm clearly in the minority when it comes to the reviews of this business. If you're into a thousand variations of carbonated sugar water beverages, this is probably your happy place. I just didn't feel like the flavors met the descriptions or, honestly, that the concoctions were very flavorful at all. The drive- through line was almost spilling into the street on a Saturday night but it moved very quickly. There were workers outside taking orders (like they do at In-n-Out in Southern California, the grossly overrated fast food burger chain. Please no haters--In-n-Out is crazy popular because it's cheap.). We tried two different drinks and a a frosted cookie that was served almost ice cold. The drinks were ok. Frankly, I thought they tasted watered down which seems impossible given that we had just received them. The cold cookie was about as good as a cold cookie could be. Personally, I'd probably get a shake for a cold sugary drink fix but almost everyone else obviously disagrees.

extremely inhospitable and require you to use a broken app. never coming here again! it is drive thru only and they do not tell you I ALSO ordered strawberry pearls in my drink for an extra 70 cents and they did not give them to me! I'm at a loss, really

LOVEEEE this place! First time going as I'm just visiting Utah and loved this place. Got their Ring King and subbed the normal Dr Pepper for Dr Pepper Zero for low cals. Tasted so yummy Service was moderate speed but that's ok

First time trying a dirty soda! They were kind enough to let me order pick up and grab it as an on foot customer. Would definitely go back if I was in town.

Fun little drive through soda shop, mainly aimed at tourists. I was visiting SLC and Swig kept coming up as a recommended spot so I decided to stop by on my way back to the airport. I'm not a big soda drinker but I was excited to try it so I just got a kids sized peach flavored drink and the garlic pretzel bites. Both were good, exactly what you'd expect from these types of foods. A little over priced for what you get in my opinion but picking out a fun custom flavor soda is fun.

Had to try it since I was in Utah and it's their thing here. Soda, pop, coke, whatever you call it, it's all sugar. So it is what it is. They have fun flavors to keep it interesting but at the end of the day with all that sugar and diff flavors, it seems to be the normal hurricane we use to make back in the day. The review is basically for their service. All the girls there were nice and service was pleasant.

This is my 2nd time having Swig, and it never fails! I love that this location opened, because me and my friends were staying in the Downtown Salt Lake City area, and the other ones were a bit farther, especially since we didn't have a car. I ordered the Jolly Elf which was Mountain Dew with passion fruit, strawberry puree, and fresh orange. Despite multiple fruit flavors, Swig drinks are never too sweet, and the perfect refresher. Also, for their small size being just about $3, it's a steal! Highly recommend Swig for anyone who enjoys soda or just looking for a fun spot and you're near one.

Showed up on a hot day to find that their lobby is permanently closed but they took great care of us anyway! I got the endless summer and my friend got the founders. I did enjoy her's more than I thought I would and mine started to grow on me a little more over time, once I got over the slight chemical taste. Would be cool to come back and try other flavors in the future.

Instead of waiting until checkout like everywhere else, he singled us out and treated us like we were doing something suspicious just for existing in the store. We had zero issue showing ID. We are of legal age and obviously would have presented them at the register when purchasing, like everyone else. The problem was the employee's attitude and obvious assumption that he had "caught" two underage customers. The interaction felt rude, condescending, and completely unnecessary. What made it worse was how public and embarrassing it was. Other customers were around while this guy decided to go on a power trip for no reason. Then, the second he realized we were legal, he disappeared to the back and didn't say another word. No apology, no professionalism, nothing. If employees are going to profile customers and make them feel uncomfortable while shopping, maybe they should at least know how to interact with people respectfully afterward. Completely killed the mood and guaranteed we won't be returning to this location.

Quite a bit of the usual hard liquor and wines, as well as a definitely upgraded and surprisingly increased beer selection. On my fourth visit to SLC I finally got to shop in one of these fabled State Liquor Stores. Unsure…read morewhat to expect, I assumed prices would be marked up to Hell and the selection wouldn't be great compared to what I am used to back home where we can get liquor any ol place. It turns out I was incorrect on both counts. My Utah resident friend is not much into beer, so instead of dragging her to local breweries, I picked up some mix and match cans of local brews here. (Craft beer is mostly singles, more domestic or popular stuff you can get in packs.) I got three of them and one foofoolala watermelon hard lemonade for around $10. What a steal. The beers were Jenny P. beers too, so stouts and a belgian of higher %. I was very happy about the pricing. All of the beers turned out to be bangers, too. I rated them highly on untappd. The store layout was in nearly thirds, one each for beer, liquor, and wine. A good portion of the beer section was seltzers and foofoo stuff, but they had a decent selection of actual beer, and half of it was Utah brewed beer. There are people here making it and consuming it, and it's good. Be not afraid. I got a kick out of the warning signs at the entrance. The church government does not want its subjects to consume adult beverages. Hence the whole having to buy alcohol in a specific store run by the govmint. You can also buy beer from breweries just fyi. I get lost trying to keep track of all the rules making it harder to be a degenerate. But I digress, there was also a security guy by the door and everyone buying here gets ID'ed, which is not too different from back home. I found customer service to be just fine, and found what I needed easily. Everything was well organized and again the prices were unbelievable. The yelp listings for these are not always accurate, and I tried to make a new entry for this one with the correct address because it wasn't pulling up for me. Yelp merged it together with another location, but at least the address is correct now. This was the one I went to. There are many in the Salt Lake area. I would come back to sin at the State Liquor store again when I'm in town next time. They are closed on Sunday, shocking.

This place is coming up on its 10 year anniversary, but I'd never heard of it until now so it's a bit of a hidden gem based on my experience. Service is fine but not as welcoming as you would hope for a boutique like this (no greeting/acknowledgement, no proactively offering to answer questions about their products, etc.). They have a bunch of different bitters flavors and have many opened and available for you to try before purchasing which is awesome. They also have other drink mixes and syrups that are fun additions to cocktails/mocktails. There's also a diverse array of cocktail making kits, garnishes, cups, etc. It's a very eccentric little shop with plenty to browse through. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys making cocktails or needs to find a gift for someone who does. I've pegged it at four stars primarily given pricing...it was $18 for a small 4oz bottle of Angostura Bitters and a small bag of plain white sugar cubes (~20 cubes or so). If I weren't purchasing a last minute gift, I would've taken the time to go elsewhere. Come here if you're looking for unique items, not necessarily if you're looking for value (which is usually the recommendation for boutiques in general).

We ordered the seasonal Hot Chocolate parfait: Mexican-style chocolate pudding, raspberries, warm spices and scratch-made chocolate wafers. Calling it pudding almost sells it short. The texture was light, whipped and closer to mousse, while the raspberries cut through the chocolate perfectly. It was indulgent without feeling like a brick after dinner. We shared one, which was financially responsible but emotionally questionable because neither of us really wanted to surrender the next bite. Then we met Parker, the owner, baker and designer behind the whole concept. He spoke openly with us about relocating from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, taking the leap into entrepreneurship and the challenges of building a small, independent multicultural business around a dessert category most people think they already understand. What struck us was that the creativity was not limited to the menu. Parker's personality is all over the space, from the name and playful branding to the colors, presentation and wonderfully odd idea of turning pudding into a destination. It feels personal because it is personal. I looked up Parfé Diem afterward and discovered that it has been named Utah's Best Comfort Food, won both Food & Beverage Business and overall Business of the Year from the Utah Black Chamber, landed on Yelp's Top 100 Local Businesses and earned national recognition through Daymond John and the NAACP. After spending time with Parker and tasting what he has created, none of that feels surprising. Salt Lake City has plenty of places selling cookies and ice cream. Parfé Diem created its own lane. That deserves attention, especially when the result tastes this good. Five stars for the dessert, the originality and the human being behind it. We will absolutely return, but next time I'm ordering my own.
