My kids would not leave UT without stopping at a Swig. They have an extensive menu and an option to customize. We got six different drinks to try. The verdict is that Texas Tab and Endless Summer are the winners. The price listed is a starting point and each item is an additional cost. This was my first ever Swig soda (I tried 3 total on my trip, but this flavor might have been my favorite). I found an article listing the top 5 flavors - see photo, and this is where i ordered my favorite of the trip "life's a Peach". Kylie was our order taker (and our mixologist)- and she could not have been sweeter. But like all the other Swigs we visited, the t-shirt she wore with the syrups spilled on it is just not a great first impression. But again - she was a sweetie, and I get that this is a messy business. I will suggest that workers wear aprons, and that the company is responsible for laundering them each day. read more

The way the menu is designed (or how it has been updated in the past while, I don't go to swig very often) is absolutely ridiculous. My friend and I both ordered 24 oz refreshers, directly from the menu with no alterations or additions, and the menu said the starting price was about $2.20 or something for that size. When we order and get the total, it's $5.50 per drink. It's apparently $2.20 for the cup and water, and literally anything else that is in their premade menu item is "an addition" and you get charged accordingly. They expect YOU to calculate what THEIR menu item is going to cost you, without indicating that it will cost "extra" to get the menu item. I'm not begrudging the cost itself, I just think the way the menu is done is shady and meant to capitalize on people thinking it will be cheaper due to how it's listed and not paying attention to their total. We just paid the cost after the poor girl tried to clarify the way the menu works, and took our drinks, which were very yummy, and left. She probably didn't design the menu. It just really irritated us that the menu insinuated a specific price and then we got charged double, when it wasn't listed on that item. Swig should just be honest about what their drinks cost instead of pretending they're cheaper and effectively scamming customers into paying more for everything. Just list the price. read more

Interesting little place with many drink choice combinations but let's talk cookie and scones. The cookies are OMG delicious. I love love loved the chocolate chip Oatmeal cookie, sugar and chocolate chocolate one (can't remember the actual name of it). We stopped by Swig on our way back to Las Vegas from St. George. It was a pleasant and refreshing way to end our day trip and keep us hydrated (well, as hydrated as soda can make someone). I ordered the Daydreamer, but with Sprite Zero instead of the ginger ale that it's supposed to come with. The Daydreamer comes with cranberry and pomegranate, as well as fresh lemon. I found it to be very enjoyable and refreshing. I also ordered the sugar cookie. I found the cookie to be overly sweet. Plus, it was chilled, as if it came from the freezer or refrigerator. I wouldn't expect the cookies to be freshly baked, but I would've appreciated them to at least be room temperature. read more

Swig is a the local favorite. It is not the place for a meal, but is a great place for a drink and a cookie. They mix sodas with different types of milk or cream and flavorings. Their signature drink is the Big Al, a Diet Coke with coconut and lime flavorings. Ask for coconut cream. You can also ask for the cookies to be frozen. I love their drinks as a special treat, but the cookies are too sweet. One problem is that you cannot see the menu until they are about to take your order at the drive-through. Had went here about at 3:50. Waited in a line and when the super nice girl taking our order her tap machine wasn't working, so she had us go to the window. As we got to the window we realized there's wasn't working either, so I had a friend send me the money and as the takes a minute because it is through mountain America. Another girl walks over, blond hair, blue eyes, super skinny face, etc. walks over and goes " I can do the drinks on us since you guys can't pay them, but I won't do the cookies" and in a nice way, I tell her we are just waiting for money to transfer because THERE MACHINES were not taking my card. And offered to park my car so they could deal with the line and then she began catching attitude with me basically saying we didn't have money and I drove off. We let the guy know with the curly hair taking the orders that we needed to see The menu. He asked us to pull up and then asked if he could take the orders of the cars behind us. They never make the drinks consistently and they take forever for the drinks to come out. I dont understand what's so hard about looking at a piece of paper and adding in the things IT TELL YOU TO. You actually enter like 2 businesses to the west. Also be prepared to not get the size of drink you want. The 32 ounce cups much be hard to find because I've been to the American fork and the St George locations in the same week and neither one had 32 ounce cups. Cookies were freezer burnt, soda had no carbonation and the avalanche (menu states it is made with ice cream) had no ice cream in it! This place is great! I don't know why anyone would hate on it. The atmosphere is fresh and fun with bright colors. There was no line inside or outside in the drive thru when we came, looks like there are two drive thru windows for busy days. We came inside to order so we could take some time to look at the menu, so many choices! We asked for some suggestions and settled on the Bloody Wild- mnt. Dew + mango purée + strawberry purée and my hubby got The Missionary - sprite + tigers blood + coconut cream. They were both refreshing and delicious. I would absolutely recommend them and would order them both again. The inside has couch, table and even a swing to sit and enjoy your drink. we went to one in St George, this is our 2nd time to one. We love them but wish I didn't feel rushed to figure out what I wanted. I had to look up on my phone to see what you have and felt like I didn't have a chance to really look so I just picked one which was the Hula girl with a diet sprite. I know there is a long line but when you haven't been before you do need more time to see what you want. My husband just wanted one with mango so the girl told him about one called wild which he did like.
