Super fun real speakeasy with a cool entrance, the you pull to get in. Leads you to an entrance room where they open another door and you enter the bar. Upstairs and downstairs. Some snack available but all customers cocktails and mocktails!

What a cute spot! I'm big into anything mystical, and this speakeasy checks the boxes in that realm. It's beautifully decorated inside and has some really comfortable seating. Our water was served in little teacups, which I thought was adorable. Our service was super friendly, but we did have quite a wait for our drinks! I'd love to see what this place is like at night on a weekend.

I'm a sucker for a moody lounge-style bar; mix it with a speakeasy vibe and jazz music and I'm hooked! This place is uber cool and something that St. George desperately needs. Please, for the love of God, don't shut down like so many small businesses around here do. But if you can't make it in southern Utah, feel free to relocate up north where I'm sure the demographic will be supportive! When I visit a bar for the first time, I love to order the same drink-a Vesper-so I can be comparing fairly. Often, a bartender won't know what that is, but here it was no problem. I appreciate when I can order off menu and don't fluster the staff. The lower level is the lounge space-lots of seating nooks with comfy couches and oversized chairs. Upstairs there's a small dance floor and you'll find a DJ on the weekends bringing the vibe to a whole new level. I'm so glad to have discovered Spiritual Speakeasy-this is definitely going to be a regular stop for me when I am in town. Cheers!

Spiritual is a favorite spot for us in Saint George. From the moment you enter it's an adventure and the drinks are complex yet balanced. Every cocktail I ordered became my new favorite. The staff is authentically friendly meaning real people being themselves. The decor and lighting makes you feel like you are far away at a European cool underground bar similar to what I experienced in London UK. I really love how this place takes you away.

My husband and I love finding new speakeasies whenever we're traveling to a new city, state, or country! We were super surprised to find out that there was a speakeasy in St. George, Utah! So of course, we had to check it out. Once we stepped inside, it clearly had that speakeasy vibe very Prohibition-like. The vibe was super cool. The drinks were delicious. However, it was kind of loud, so it made it a little hard to hear each other, and the service was a bit slow but overall, it was a cool spot and we had a good time!

My wife and I were craving a quality cocktail to wind down--and admittedly, we were curious given Utah's reputation for strict liquor laws. But wow, this is exquisite. We stumbled upon Spiritual Speakeasy, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we found something special. The owners themselves greeted us at the door, offering the kind of warm hospitality that instantly set the tone. They're clearly passionate about curating a space that blends classy charm with a dash of playful wit--and they've nailed it. We got our pick of seats in their spacious, moody lounge. If you've ever wondered where vintage settees and cozy seats go when they die, this is their heaven. I went with a classic Manhattan, served up and elegantly balanced. My wife ordered the Flora Dora, and it was crafted with such finesse that she didn't let me steal a second sip. The craftsmanship here is real--no shortcuts, no pretense. Though we came in early afternoon, it was clear this place is a local favorite. The ambiance was spot-on cozy, the service attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe just had that something extra you can't fake. If you're in or near St. George, don't miss this place. It's the kind of hidden gem you want to tell everyone about--while secretly hoping it stays just the way it is.

I was looking for a unique cocktail experience to while away the hours while on a recent trip to St. George and was pleasantly surprised to happen upon the Spiritual Speakeasy. It's tucked away in a tiny courtyard in the middle of town and you just have to pull the knob to ring the bell - and voilah! You enter a small, but beautifully mysterious room for a quick ID check and then a secret door opens and leads you into the bar itself. Greated by the host, they'll find you a spot to tuck in. Bartenders were welcoming and had recommendations if needed. I ordered a King Louis. Delicious, akin to a whiskey sour with a salted caramel foam atop. Met a friend of the staff who was in mourning, and shared a shot of Fernet and closed out with one more King Louis. All in all. A lovely night. The ambiance is dark, but cozy. It smells of cedar and smoke. With old jazz classics earlier in the evening and moving into more current music later. Highly recommend.

Great service and amazing traditional cocktails! Really cool intimate vibe. Really cool lowkey spot for good memories

Our experience at Spiritual was amazing today! Maddie was our server. She greeted us timely and brought a complimentary aperitif with caramel corn. She was so delightful and made us feel so welcomed. Our drinks were made to perfection!

This is our second time here, and both times have been absolutely fantastic. Starting with the bar vibe, it's beautiful and looks a gothic Catholic Church with plush seating, curtain, crosses, and just general dark beauty. Both times we sat at the bar, and both times we had some incredible bartenders. The cocktails are well thought out and crafted, and they have a fantastic liquor selection. They also serve upscale popcorn, with our particular serve being a dill and caramel blend that blew our mind. Pricing is very reasonable, and if you ask the bartenders for opinions or recommendations they are very capable and willing. You may also meet a fun clientele, as this particular evening we had a fellow guest show up some close up magic tricks, and it was incredible. This bar is so worth the trip if you're in town, and worth the drive if you're near for Zion or Cedar City.

45+ Minutes in 100° Heat, Passed Over Repeatedly, Then Offered a High-Top for a Toddler…read more Our experience at George's today was so bizarre, frustrating, and poorly handled that I am still trying to understand how a restaurant could treat a family this way. We arrived as a family of three--two adults and our toddler--and were told the wait would be approximately 15-20 minutes. We were added to the waitlist and waited outside in nearly 100-degree heat. While we waited, several parties arrived AFTER us. We know this with certainty because we watched them walk in, add their names to the list, come back outside, and even chatted with some of them while we all waited. Then, one by one, those parties were called inside and seated before us. After the last of them was seated, I finally went inside and asked the front-of-house employee in the pink shirt whether we were even still on the list. She assured me we were and said we were "next." We then waited approximately another 10 minutes. By the time someone finally came for us, our supposed 15-20 minute wait had become 45-46 minutes. And somehow, that wasn't even the most baffling part. We were walked through the restaurant, past multiple empty, standard-height tables, and taken down toward the bar. We passed yet another regular four-seat table there. And then we were offered a high-top table. For two adults and a TODDLER. Our toddler had physically walked into the restaurant with us when we originally put our names on the list. There was never any ambiguity that we had a small child with us. No booster or appropriate toddler seating was offered at this high-top, either. We obviously declined. Expecting a toddler to safely sit at a high-top is not merely impractical--it creates a completely unnecessary fall and safety risk. We were then informed that if we wanted a normal table, we would need to wait another 10-15 minutes. At that point, I was genuinely stunned. We had already waited more than twice the time we were quoted. We had watched parties who arrived after us get seated ahead of us. None of those parties, to our knowledge, were forced to choose between an inappropriate high-top and an additional wait. And we could literally see empty standard tables. When we specifically asked about the empty four-person table near the bar, we were told we couldn't sit there because that server was having a very busy day and it would be another 15-20 minutes before she could take us. So let me understand this: your restaurant allowed a family with a toddler to wait outside in extreme heat for more than 45 minutes, repeatedly seated later-arriving parties ahead of them, finally brought them inside only to offer seating obviously unsuitable for a small child, and then--while empty standard tables were plainly visible--essentially told them to go wait some more? At what point does someone on staff recognize that something has gone badly wrong and attempt to fix it? There was no meaningful apology. No sense of urgency. No empathy. No attempt to problem-solve. No acknowledgment that the original 15-20 minute estimate had turned into 45+ minutes while other guests were seated ahead of us. What makes this experience even more uncomfortable is that we are a mixed-race couple. I cannot say why we were treated differently, and I am not going to make an accusation I cannot prove. But after watching multiple parties who arrived after us be seated before us, only to then be offered uniquely inappropriate seating for our family, I am left questioning why our family was treated differently. Was there some legitimate explanation that was never communicated to us? Was this simply extraordinary incompetence and poor management of the waitlist? Or was there another reason? I genuinely don't know. But the fact that your staff's handling of the situation left us even having to ask that question should concern management. We were patient. We were polite. We waited far longer than we were told we would. We stood outside with our toddler in nearly 100-degree weather and gave your staff every opportunity to make the situation right. Instead, we were met with indifference and a level of front-of-house incompetence that was astonishing. Restaurants get busy. Servers get overwhelmed. Wait estimates can be wrong. None of that explains why multiple parties arriving after us were seated first, why no one noticed or corrected it, why a family visibly accompanied by a toddler was offered a high-top, or why--after more than 45 minutes--no one seemed remotely interested in finding a reasonable solution. We ultimately didn't need special treatment. We expected competent treatment. We didn't receive it. Management should seriously review how the waitlist was handled today and speak with the front-of-house staff involved, because this was one of the most poorly managed and deeply uncomfortable restaurant experiences our family has had.
