Mood: Cold Drink So I heard that in Utah you must try this version of sonic. The Swig aka Dirty Soda shop was pretty cool. They are all drive through and window access with multiple lanes and people taking your order for fast service. The people were friendly and accommodating with cool recommendations depending on your mood. I tried: Ride or Die 10/10 which includes an energy drink with your mix and it sure was tasty. Was initially confused on how everything worked but the dude on at the front was very nice and explained the whole process thoroughly. Ended up getting a Texas Cherry Dr. Pepper. The service was honestly terrible. The communication went as far as what did we want and the total. The girl working was not happy to be there. The mini chocolate cookies were also terrible. I am not a huge soda person, but my wife is, well rather she really enjoys her memory of going to Sonic when she lived in Texas. I think that is what swig provided for us more than anything, an opportunity to revisit a memory my wife had. Like I said I dont really drink soda too much, so it wasnt for me, but what I had was decent. I grabbed the kid side of vanilla pepsi or something. It was nice. Price wasnt terrible, and the setup is similar to Dutch Brothers. People taking orders outside and people inside prepping soda. Each time we went it was quick and easy. I always look forward to stopping by Swig when I'm in Saint George. This was my first visit to this location, which is a bit bigger than the location I visited last time a few miles away. I ordered the Daydreamer with Sprite Zero instead of ginger ale with light ice. I really emphasize that last bit, because they put sooo much ice in otherwise. The order taker and the employee who transacted my order were somewhere in the range of unpleasant and barely pleasant. Either way, not the best. When I got my drink, I noticed immediately that there was way too much ice in it, but I chose not to say anything since the first two people I encountered were so "meh," I didn't want to poke the bear with the third. I finished my drink about halfway to Vegas and soon noticed that three-quarters of the cup was filled with ice. Sigh. Maybe next time. read more
