Stopped in on a morning run, grabbed Gatorade's and donuts. Very quick and efficient service and donut was very tasty! The ambiance was that of a beach coffee shop/donut shop, cute and quaint. I got an original glazed donut and it was very good, not super sweet and just the right size, would recommend

We walked past this place after breakfast and thought, "yep, we're going in." They were pretty busy and had a decent selection of doughnuts and other pastries. I got a Chocolate Icing and my husband got a Boston Creme Pie, basically a chocolate covered creme filled doughnut. Sadly, I didn't get a picture because he ate his pretty quickly! The doughnuts were fine, but we both agreed we liked Lickin' Good Doughnuts better. Not sure if that's a chain or just some doughnut stores operating around central Alabama? I need to do some research. In any case, for convenient doughnuts at the beach, Island Donuts & Bagels work.

Door dashed some island fritters, they were super good. Thick and chewy with a slight tropical flavor. Ad someone who likes fritters, but not apple fritters, these were a godsend

Cute little donut & bagel shop with fresh ground in house coffee. We split a amazing pineapple fritter donut & a toasted rosemary & sea salt bagel with butter and each had a Large coffee. I would strongly recommend ordering ahead because they are busy. They do tend to sell out! Both of our items fresh and flavorful.

Donuts were just OKAY. Vibe of the place was great and service was great too. Cake donuts were not good at all in my opinion though.

Great lattes and donuts! We were the first customers in on a Saturday morning - staff was super friendly!

This is a really great quick spot for breakfast. We tried a bit of everything: two donuts, two breakfast sandwiches, and avocado toast with an egg. The avocado spread lacked flavor, but the egg was cooked perfectly, and the bread was tasty. We all enjoyed our breakfast. Smaller place with limited seating inside and a few bigger tables outside.

Checked out this beachside donut and bagel shop on a recommendation, and we're so glad we did! The donut flavors were fun and delicious according to my friends who each picked one of the creative flavors. I went savory instead and ordered an everything bagel with avocado spread, which hit the spot. That said, the table consensus was clear: the rosemary sea salt bagel is the one to get. As soon as I walked back with my food, I was hit with the amazing aroma of rosemary. It smelled incredible, and my friends confirmed it tasted just as good. The coffee was really solid, and the whole place has a cute, fun vibe. Despite being busy, our order came out quickly and we found a nice spot to sit on the patio. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat in the areap. I am already looking forward to my next visit next time I'm beachside!

Excellent spot for turning 70 today 3/16/1955 If you come EARLY like as in between 6:30 to 7:30 no lines, It's quiet, and the BEST coffee we've had so far called Midnight Mayhem get a large coffee and it's Free Refills all day. No twist doughnuts otherwise just good. It would be my spot if I lived here but leaving tomorrow. A MUST STOP

Because why choose one when you can order a dozen ?!

Very poor planning by the staff. They're open until 1pm but they usually sell out early and don't restock.

Are there any gluten free options?

I am sorry, we do not offer Gluten Free at this time. Thank you!

How's the coffee?

I did not have any coffee, but did note that it was a self serve bar and the labels on the dispensers mentioned different flavors, think southern pecan etc

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.

Made with Gruyère, Parmesan, and garlic, they were absolutely incredible. Chef's kiss. I ordered the fried bologna sandwich with a side salad. Our server described it as filling and nostalgic since so many of us grew up eating bologna sandwiches. But honestly, there was nothing ordinary or nostalgic about this one. Every bite was packed with rich, balanced flavor. My kids loved it too, which meant I had to reluctantly share. I also ordered the honey iced coffee, and it was perfectly sweet with just the right touch of richness. I sometimes hesitate to bring my kids into restaurants with a more creative menu, but I'm so glad we chose Sunday. The staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was charming, and every one of us left happy (and very well fed).
