Wanted to try the trend. The food was tasty and fresh. Nice variety to choose from. Cashier was friendly and helpful. The place could use a good scrub down.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! I went by a hundred places to get my craving!!! Yes, these treats are delicious and crave worthy! I have not had these since moving from Jacksonville. This venue catches my eye every time I go by! I'm so happy to have been able to visit here and get my favorites! There were so many amazing choices and I had to go with my tried and true loves! I looooove the ube doughnut... so chewy and not too sweet! The Thai milk tea was so refreshing and I ordered double brown sugar boba!!! And then a pleasant surprise... I also had the opportunity to indulge in a oooey goooey stretchy Korean mozzarella hotdog!!!! Why do I feel so happy about playing with my food!!! So fun... colors, textures, and flavors!!! The staff is so welcoming and professional! The venue is clean and very cozy! There's even a claw machine!!

I've been wanting to come in here for the longest time and so glad I stopped in! The shop is large and spacious when you walk in so it's great if you have a larger party. I ordered a Korean hot dog, mochi donut and a brown sugar boba and none of the items on the menu disappointed. The service was super fast and the girl working behind the counter was really friendly. I loved how big the servings were for the price too. I will be back to try more items off the menu. I'm so glad St. Augustine finally has a boba shop!

Alas, a Mochi Donut shop comes to Jacksonville. Well, close enough. Mochiatsu opened their business about 3 weeks ago, located in Saint Augustine, which is nice situation to be in because Saint Augustine lacks the food diversity that it needs, so having a Korean shop set up is a nice addition there. Mochiatsu specializes in Mochi Donut and Korean Hot Dogs, which are very popular spots down South Florida, especially in the Central Florida; Orlando area. They also serve Boba Drinks and Smoothies as well as Fruit Teas. All in all, no more longer travels for me once I start feening for some delicious Mochi Donuts and K-Dogs. And just in case you don't know what a Mochi Donut is...it's a hybrid between American Donut and Japanese Mochi, which gives you a slightly chewy and airy texture type donut when eaten. Still curious what a Mochi Donut is? Come by and see for yourself. Donut be scared to try them!!!

Our first time trying it and we just were not fans of either the Korean hotdog or the donut. The taro milk was ok but you can't really screw up a powder mix. They should grill the hot dogs first as it is only warmed and the donut was chewy, almost like a bread dough.

Adorable little shop with amazing donuts and Korean style hotdogs. Their boba is also top notch. My favorite donut is the black sesame but it's hard to find one you don't like. Plenty of parking in the shopping center, friendly service, and awesome food and boba. You can't go wrong here.

I am a mochi donut fan, and this place did not disappoint! They were so fresh, chewy, and sweet. They have a good variety of flavors. I would definitely come back when in the area.

Came by after our trip to old town. Large dining area with a few seatings. Lady that took my order was very patient and explained what some of the drinks are made up of. I tried the Panda Bubble Tea and got hubby the Tropical Fruit Tea. Got 4 donuts to try out too; Brown sugar, Thai tea, Taro, & Nutella. Personally, I wasn't feeling the panda bubble tea, the taste just didn't suit me but I really liked hubby's fruit tea. I only got to try the Thai tea and brown sugar milk tea donuts, they're both really sweet and didn't really taste like their name suggested. The texture of the donuts were good, bouncy and fluffy, but I could taste the grease within the dough.

Just a cute little donut shop. The lady behind the counter was friendly and made me a very ube milk tea. I had a strawberry doughnut that was rich and sweet. Donuts have almost like pudding like quality very good pretend but it was a quick sweet little late breakfast. I'd like to try the Matcha donut or banana cinnamon next time I come.

Always a good experience coming here food looks and taste amazing this place needs more customers seriously

What a fun place to try something new! We were greeted with smiles and felt so welcomed! We picked out some donuts, drinks, and Korean Hot Dogs. We enjoyed every bite! My nephew couldn't believe how cheesy his Cheetos Whole Mozzarella was! I loved my creamy coffee with boba and my husband really enjoyed his strawberry peach tea with strawberry popping boba! What a fun treat! We were visiting St Augustine for my birthday and this was our last stop before leaving town. If you want to try something new and have fun doing it, I highly recommend this spot!

YOU NEED TO COME HERE!! Stopped here after spending the day walking around St. Augustine. I've only ever made mochidonuts so I have nothing to compare to except that but these were soooo good. Perfectly soft but chewy. My husband devoured the Nutella donut before I could try it. I LOVED the taro and ube. The strawberry was very flavorful and tasted like it was flavored with real strawberries not artificial flavor. My friend said the corn dog was delicious, I haven't tried mine yet. The cheese pull was INSANE. The boba was super refreshing, passion mango tea. I got no sugar in it and it was still delicious. I love that it came with fresh fruit in it. These donuts were so good I got two more (taro and ube) before we left. I love this place. I will definitely be back if I ever come back to St. Augustine.

I fell in love with this place faster than I had anticipated! The mochi donuts were incredibly flavorful and light in texture, their boba is competitively and sensibly priced, and their service was perfection! The staff was patient and detailed with their descriptions of their menu items and were strikingly sweet!

I ordered the fish burger and it honestly surprised me in the best way it was way better than I expected. My partner went with the regular burger and loved it too. I also have to mention the banana pudding because it was AMAZING. Easily the best I've had so far, and I'm not even exaggerating. The service really stood out as well. Our waitress went above and beyond to help me figure out what the veggie burger was made of and even looked into the company that makes it since I'm picky about veggie burgers. That level of care doesn't go unnoticed. We dined outside and although noisy from the traffic, it was nice. Overall, such a great experience. They really have something for everyone. Definitely recommend checking it out and don't skip the banana pudding.

I asked the server about it and she just told me that it was a 1/2. In an effort to not make a big deal about it, my daughter jumped right in and offered to switch patties with me since she wasn't that hungry. It was immediately obvious that I had a smaller patty since the new one filled the croissant. Second: I asked to substitute the burger buns for the croissant buns they have on a different burger. I was surprised to see the bill showing a $2.50 up charge despite the burgers costing around the same amount and buns being needed anyway + no mention of any up-charge! Third: Our party included two adults + three children + a toddler + an infant. Somehow that warranted an automatic gratuity. We're normally generous tippers but it didn't feel right to have an amount pushed on us without disclosure. We would have tipped anyway despite the servers obvious fake smile and negative demeanor but this just added to the overall poor experience. Our family has no issue paying 25%, or more if service is exceptional, on $600 bills (often at steak houses more-so than regular restaurants) but I walked away feeling cheated here.

Cone Heads is located right on A1A Beach Blvd, just a block off of the beach. It is in a standalone building that is inviting with both colorful signage and plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a drive-thru and a private parking lot. When we visited on a Tuesday in July around 5:30 PM, we had no issue getting a parking spot. There were some other customers enjoying some ice cream, but there was relatively no line when we entered the store. The ordering happens inside, and you walk right into the ice cream cabinets and counter. All of the flavors are displayed and can be seen from the order line. Additionally inside, there are some tables to sit and eat at, along with a restroom. They sell a variety of merchandise along with their food and dessert selection. I liked seeing the community cork-board, where there were a variety of different posters and advertisements for events and services around the area. The menu consisted of traditional ice cream items one would expect - cups, cones, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, and more. They also had a Seasonal Special section on the menu, which I assume changes somewhat frequently. This trip, that item was a Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. There are some sundae combinations on the menu, but you can customize your own if you choose. There is hard ice cream, soft serve, and also some hot food options - hot dogs, sausages, and tamales, primarily. For drinks, they had canned soda, bottled, water, and some coffee options. As far as to-go, they had pints and quarts available for the ice cream, along with a freezer full of pre-packaged pints, quarts, and ice cream sandwiches for a grab and go situation. Having never been here before, our group needed some time to look at the menu and flavors before ordering. There were around 30 different flavors of hard ice cream, which included No Sugar Added and Dairy Free varieties, in addition to traditional full dairy varieties. I thought that the flavor selection was a healthy mix of traditional favorites and unique offerings. The staff working were friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the flavors. I even got to try a couple samples before making my decision. After much debate, I landed on trying the Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. This was made to order, and I got to choose the ice cream for the filling. I opted for the Kahula Chip for a coffee and donut flavor combination. I did enjoy this treat! The donut was fresh (and from a local spot), and the ice cream complimented it nicely. I thought the price was also fair for the size and specialty of the dessert, at $5.50 before any tax. My dog was waiting patiently in the car, so we ordered him a Doggie Ice Cream. It was a small boat of vanilla soft serve with peanut butter sauce and a Milk Bone. For my magnet collection, I also purchased one of their logo to take home with me. I personally did not pay the bill, but I thought the pricing here was fair and in line with any other similar type of shop. They took both cash and card. This shop is exactly what you would want out of an ice cream shop on the beach - fun, colorful, and local. They incorporate various other local businesses into their products. The theme of the establishment is appropriate for being a block away from the ocean, and there is a lot of color and fun decor to look at around the building. The staff were all pleasant, the product is tasty, and the price is right. Really enjoyed discovering Cone Heads on this trip, and will make sure to stop by again during my future trips to St. Augustine!
