All staff has been kind and helpful whenever we've had a question and had to move classes around to work with our schedule. Classes are only a max of 4 kids to each instructor. There are many classes so I'm able to get both my kids (different levels) at the same class time. Makeup classes have been easy to schedule and we have already switched our class times to fit our summer schedule better. After two classes my daughter became much more comfortable in the water. When lessons are done they get rinsed off (I wish they had actual showers) and we discuss how the class went with the instructor. When we go to the normal pool we work on those things. The only thing I wish was that older kid classes were longer than 30 min. Sometimes it seems too short of a time.

My three year…read moreold went from playing on the top step of the pool to jumping in full force and swimming to the stairs in just one week. He not only learned how to survive and swim in the water, he learned to love the water. Now he wants a pool in our backyard. ISR are ten minute swim lessons everyday for up to six weeks. Ten minutes doesn't sound very long, but the kids get tired. They are being instructed the entire ten minutes. The instructor, Mr Mike, is phenomenal with the kids. He gets down to business from the second they enter the pool until the end of the lesson. He is a professional swim teacher and not just a someone who was on swim team in the past teaching swim lessons. Your kid will learn to float/swim, guaranteed. My 22 month old learned to float/swim from the middle of the pool to out of the pool by the 4th week or so. Before we started I was a little nervous about how Mr. Mike was going to teach my baby to hold his breath underwater and flip to his back to float. I was pretty sure my baby was not going to understand the directions given to him or handle the lessons well. He screamed for the entire first week of lessons (Mr. Mike is used to screaming kids and handles it very well), but he made it to the end of the six weeks floating/swimming to safety. The whole process is pretty fascinating to watch. And seeing your child increase their skills and confidence in the water each day is extremely rewarding. ISR was definitely the best way to get my apprehensive children comfortable and confident in the water. This will be our fourth year with Mr. Mike. Our first graduated out of the program swimming like a fish, our second is having a 2 week refresher course, and our third will be starting his first lesson in June. Mr. Mike teaches from his home in dunwoody. He has an outdoor and small indoor pool and teaches year round. He teaches kids from 6 months to 6 years and offers two week refresher courses after the first year.

After researching low-impact alternatives, I hoped that water aerobics would provide an effective workout that my body could tolerate, and the classes here fulfilled both criteria perfectly. I attended my first Shallow Water Aerobics class on Tuesday evening with Sue, followed by a Shallow Water Arthritis class on Wednesday morning with Christine. Both instructors were fantastic; it was evident that they take their roles seriously and are genuinely committed to ensuring participants receive an effective workout tailored to their individual needs. Furthermore, they were both engaging and personable with every attendee. I enjoyed two excellent workouts and look forward to participating in many more.

Its just not karate that he learns. A lot of lessons around self discipline, self control and earning everything that the kids get on day to day. The lessons are very well formed and every kid in the class gets the attention that is needed. There is never a dull moment @Dojo. Every coach has a smile and different techniques to make the class more interesting and motivates every kid to enjoy and learn the techniques. Couple of months later, got my daughter enrolled and she enjoys her time there and very eager to be @Dojo just like her brother. Both my kids love Coach Josh & Coach Jared(Both are Great Motivators). They are just amazing. Always willing to talk to the parents and kids with constant feedback. I highly recommend @Dojo, Sharon Springs. Kudos to all the Coaches who give their best to get the better of the kids.

Review for The Goddard School (Suwanee Pre-K Program)…read more Our 4-year-old son attended this Goddard location for about a month in the Pre-K program. We waited a few weeks after withdrawing him before sharing our experience because we wanted to be sure he was adjusting well in a different environment and he truly is. Pros: Good curriculum and a clean, secure facility. Cons: From the very first day, his teacher (Angela) repeatedly told us that he "doesn't listen," and that first impression never seemed to change. Instead of partnering with us, we felt that our son was being singled out with a continued negative focus. We tried to discipline him more at home based on this feedback, and in hindsight, we regret how this affected him. Communication was almost nonexistent. We asked for weekly updates and only received one. The school app, where teachers are expected to communicate, had very limited personalized information. Interactions with his teacher often felt unfriendly. When we greeted her in the mornings, she provided cold response, which made us feel unwelcome rather than supported. Management was unaware of these ongoing issues until we brought them up. While they expressed willingness to help, but we felt that their suggestions were not convincing. We completely understand that teachers can be firm, that is perfectly fine. But fairness and collaboration matter. When a child is viewed through a negative lens from day one, that can impact not only their confidence but also the parent-school relationship. We ultimately removed him because we did not want him in an environment that felt discouraging. He is now attending a new Pre-K program and has adjusted wonderfully. In several weeks, we have not received a single complaint from his new teachers. This reassured us that his struggles at Goddard were not due to who he is as a child, but the environment he was placed in. Most reviews for this school are very positive, and that is exactly why we feel obligated to share our honest experience. If we had known, we would not have enrolled our son here. Parents considering this Pre-K program should ask clear questions about communication and how behavior concerns are handled. We hope our feedback helps the school improve so every child and every parent feels supported
