With a kid play area, massive indoor and outdoor pools with a slide, I can see why it's so popular. There is a cafe onsite as well as yoga and all the other things you'd expect to see. Since the beginning of this year, they have renovated the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and men's locker room, and now the women's locker room is being updated as well. While it's good to see continuous improvements, the ongoing construction can sometimes feel inconvenient and is a reminder that the facility is aging. My experiences with the staff have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful, while others come across as less welcoming. One incident in particular left a disappointing impression. I accidentally left my phone at the Life Cafe table and realized it after I had already left the gym. When I returned, a young staff member asked to see my membership card. I explained that my membership information was on the phone I had left inside, but despite the obvious situation, he refused to let me enter without an ID. Even after explaining multiple times that I was simply trying to retrieve my phone, he continued insisting on identification. It felt like common sense and flexibility were missing in that moment. Another concern is the membership cost. I currently pay more than $180 per month, which is quite expensive. At that price point, I believe members naturally expect not only quality facilities but also consistently professional and understanding customer service. Despite these frustrations, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and the overall amenities the gym provides.

Unfortunately, the courts are unavailable Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM throughout the summer due to camp activities, yet members are still paying full membership rates with no discount or accommodation offered. For members who use the courts regularly, this removes a major part of what we're paying for. It feels unfair to eliminate access to a key amenity for an extended period while continuing to charge full price. I understand businesses want to run summer programs, but this situation seems focused on generating additional revenue at the expense of paying members. I raised these concerns with management and was told, "Sorry, nothing we can do." That response was disappointing and felt dismissive. For a gym at this price point, I expected better communication, better planning, or some effort to make things right for affected members. This was handled poorly.

Too many swimmers in the team with top swimmers barely able to get value. Coaches rely on 1 or 2 front swimmers to make themselves feel valuable. But the training doesn't target improvements across the team. No engagements if a swimmer doesn't attend trainings but monthly payment deductions are consistent. If you must join here, then pause membership whenever you confirm you won't be able to attend consistent monthly trainings. Resume payment when you're able to attend. The extra free month is to make you be consistent with monthly payment but thats not valuable. Stop payment by sending email notice and restart when you're able. We didn't train for over 6months, because the East Cobb location was outdoor even during the winter with no coverage provided to weather the cold! If joining the East Cobb location, don't join. Training is outdoor even during winter, don't believe promises of getting a tarp, they've been saying that for over 3yrs without actually doing that. Great coach in East Cobb but not worth it. Coach Caleb is totally awful, no engagements with parents other than collecting money. No value add on technique correction because they're like Sardines at GA Tech! Just awful. Try MAAC!

Here's why we don't recommend Sweetwater Pools... Inexperienced technicians - unable to answer the most basic maintenance questions. Disrespectful to property - the technicians would disassemble our pool skimmer, using the pole to mix their chemicals (that's fine!), but then not put it back together. We repeatedly asked them to put it back the way they found it to no avail. It felt lazy and disrespectful. Zero communication - really hard to get anyone to call you back to address concerns or questions. To sum it up, we never felt like Sweetwater Pools valued our business or ever tried to salvage it. You have been forewarned.

Had a need for assembly of a 10x10 gazebo to be installed on my back deck. Unfortunately, I had…read moremeasured incorrectly as we found the deck to be around 2 inches too small for the gazebo. I am sure some assembly crews may have said "can't do", but Emerson sized up the challenge and made it happen through creative thinking. The gazebo was installed properly and can barely see where the necessary modifications were made to make it work! I was impressed! Additionally, when the assembly was done, he cleaned everything up and replaced all things on the deck to exactly as they were prior to his involvement. Next time I have any construction or handy man service needed, I'll be calling Emerson again.
