    Pool, instructor, SwimSCAAPE Culver city

We tried swim lessons at the public pool for years but our son would sometimes not even get into the water. We finally got enrolled with SwimSCAAPE and within the year, he has gone from being afraid of the water to swimming on scaq swim team! Thank you so much Alejandro, Spider, Tomas, Caden, and of course Luz! Even tho we worked with a few different coaches, they all genuinely cared about helping our son gain confidence in the water and learn the techniques to be safe and have fun!

My daughter started lessons with very little confidence in the water, and thanks to Cynthia's patience, encouragement, and incredible teaching skills, she is now not only swimming but truly loving it! Cynthia has a natural gift with children--she made each lesson fun, engaging, and perfectly tailored to my daughter's pace and comfort level. What impressed me most was her ability to balance safety, skill-building, and fun all at once. My daughter would light up before every lesson and leave the pool beaming with pride. Thanks to Cynthia, my daughter has developed strong swimming skills and a newfound confidence that will stay with her for life. We're so grateful for the care and dedication Cynthia brings to her work. She's a true gem and a major asset to Waterworks! Highly recommend her to any parent looking for a kind, skilled, and passionate swim instructor!

Now he's doing handstands, building real confidence, and even going into the deep end -- something we never thought we'd see this soon. After spending two years in swim school with very little progress, this truly feels like the best money we've ever spent. We realized that we're actually spending less with these one-on-one private lessons with Coach Rasha and getting more out of each lesson than the swim schools -- We honestly joke that we should've asked the swim school for a refund on all that time and money. Working with Coach Rasha has been a complete game changer and we can't imagine going back to swim schools ever again. We're so grateful we found her and are already looking forward to having our youngest learn with her too. She's patient, encouraging, and amazing with kids.

We did a couple days of the immersive class with her and after the second day she was laughing and loving every second with teacher Jackie. They've now learned so much and Ali has made them really comfortable in the water. They jump in the pool, do flips, go on water slides, etc. All things that take confidence they learned from Ali.

At that time she was attending a small public school in West Hollywood in a class of 36 children with no teachers assistants. She was completely lost in all subjects, which also led to low self esteem. She was limited to 45 minutes of resources per day, which was really the only help/ teaching she received, the rest of the days were a loss. Through a friend, we were referred to Summit View West. I scheduled an appointment to take a tour of the school (four years ago)and brought my daughter along. That day, my daughter made her decision...she said, "this is the school that I need. I don't want any other school but here! Do what you have to do to get me into this school!"....and I did. Today, my daughter will be entering her third year at Summit View West, and every day that goes by we feel blessed that we are part of this amazing school. Since my daughter started, she has only become more confident in all subjects, and she embraces learning new concepts. The teachers make sure all students are on the same page and, with an understanding of the material before they move on. The administration is always welcoming and hypersensitive to any concerns a parent or student might have. The school is a loving community that looks out of one another. I feel that if anyone leaves a negative yelp comment about Summit View West, it is only out of frustration of not having their child funded by their school's district, or the Help Group does not think the school is the right fit for the child in question. The administration is highly educated, qualified and familiar with making the right decisions that would best fit the students needs.
