Had lunch in the Swiss lounge, which serves the same food as the main white table clothed dining room. Arugula salad with chicken, bison burger and yummy cheesecake with huckleberry topping (so good we came back the next day and had it again). Everything was delicious. Good service. They have cute little booth seats in the restaurant, a bit squeezed and the seats are very low - if you are there with backpacks there is literally no where to stow them. Good atmosphere, much more casual so you don't feel out of place trudging in there after hiking all day in the rain. Lunch time can get quite crowded but the are pretty efficient getting the line moving and everyone seated.

Decent menu. Good food. Small and crowded but quick turnover and a bar to wait at. First come first serve.

I was glad a fellow Yelper mentioned this place was next to the Exxon... definitely helped since there are a couple other bars nearby. The first night (yes, went here two nights in a row!) had salad and small pizza and my ds had wings. Second night they were slammed and decided to only serve pizza. The service was adequate... they brought us the food and drinks ordered. The pizzas are really good and hand made... we spoke with the woman who throws each pie dough by hand. Both pizzas over two nights were delicious. My salad was pretty good too since it was nice leafy greens lettuce (not iceberg). There are a couple of tvs showing the main sports of the day... in our case we watched a bit of FIFA football (soccer). The AC fan was blowing into the middle of the restaurant and couldn't get away from the cold air.

The restaurant stays busy -- there was a bit of a wait, but this is a busy national park, and anywhere you go at rush is going to have a wait. The servers were fantastic, and all helped each other out. The pizza was amazing. The dough is home-made every morning, and is neither too thin nor too thick. We got a half cheese, half ground beef 12" and it fed two hungry adults. I only wish we had tried this place before our last day! Note: this is not the same as the wood fire pizza building next door.

We just had drinks the first day, but all the food going by looked great. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Yuzu Margarita, so I had two. Came back following day for lunch. I, obviously, got another Yuzu Margarita. Am happy to report it was even better the 2nd day! Mike got the 2 pc Cod and Chips and we quite enjoyed sharing this dish. I had the Shepherd's Pie and the Lamb flavor was evident. We're used to having it topped with cheese and havng the meat mixture with some spices. This meat didn't seem to be spiced at all, so I added some of the tartar sauce and ketchup from our other entree to liven it up some. Hopefully we'll have another chance to visit if we're back in Waterton.

You're given two options, either the lounge (which is walk in) or the dinner room which you need to have reservations for or wait. The lounge was empty and chill with a nice view. For appetizers, we had the 3 pastry meat (unsure what the name is) but it was so good. Meat was delicious and full of flavor. For entree, I had the shepards pie. It was my first time having this. It's made with lamb. It was really good but I felt like it was too much mashed potatoes and little meat. My friend had the Bison Bangers and said it was different but delicious. The place is pricey but it was nice with a great view!
