Divide Pizza
Emily C.

We ordered a pizza here after a day at Glacier. It was a divey spot but the back patio was cute. We ordered the pizza that was half veggie, half meat and it took a while to come out. Once it did come out, half of it was so burnt it was basically inedible and the dough on the other half was basically still raw. It was like they were supposed to turn it half way through and had forgotten. I was kind of shocked they would even serve it to us but being starving after having waited so long already and also it being the middle of nowhere so there's not many other options around, we picked it apart and ate what we could. They also don't have very many beers for a place called a beer garden. I would recommend trying somewhere else in the area.

Jalapeno corndogs, fries, and cheese curds

Great small town bar. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Fairly busy, about 75% full, food took about 45mins after ordering. Cool spot to hit after a day at the park. Only complaint is that the seats (picnic tables) felt extremely too far away from the table. After a 12mi hike, my back was toast. I then had to lean forward at what felt like a 45 degree angle to eat. Still recommend though! Corndogs were pretty basic, not much to it. I could taste some of the cheese inside the dog. The curds were great, some of the best I'vd had. Slight hint of garlic, chewy, hot...yum

What a gem! We stumbled upon Kip's after hiking in Glacier, and we're so glad we did!! We had a blast playing cards (that the bar had on hand) while we waited for our pizza. We got two different pizzas, both of which were fantastic. This is a must stop if you are in the area. As of July 2023, they were open for dinner from 4pm to 9pm. The bar was open until 2am.

Dranksss

If you like a dive bar this is your place. Showed up around 6 after a hard hike in the park and wanted some beverages. Double talls were flowing and the chicken strips hit. Our waitress was wonderful and closing this place down seemed like a no brainer. If you're measuring your experience on good vibes, this laidback gem won't disappoint. The only thing that is missing is a live band but regardless it was a great time.

12" Grizz Bizz!

Wonderful wood fired pizza in East Glacier. I ordered a 12" Grizz Bizz and it was the bizz!!! I had a great local IPA while I waited for 5 bucks, nice price. The bartender/order taker was very nice and professional. The service was fantastic. I just went for the pizza, but this place is a bar with pool tables and an outdoor venue. Stop by for some great pizza or they have a nice selection of other pub fare as well. Wings, tenders, house-made fries, calamari, spicy cheese...

O-rings and fries chigga chigga yeah

Kips was incredible. That Montana service charm glows bright here. The beer selection was not quite infinite, but damnit, was it close. Only place open in a 75 mile radius, so as long you consider that, you're gonna have a good time. If you are expecting fast pizza or a red carpet, get off your high horse and look elsewhere. Oh wait, there is nowhere else. So guess you're gonna take it and like it. Which is admirable to say the least. Karen's/Kyle's (see nerds review below) please avoid, nobody cares about you and your gripes. We ate here 3 nights in a row and are all still here. Wait staff was appropriately rude given the customers, which again I can appreciate. We came late September in the beginning of the offseason, thank god for kips for saving us from perishing. We more than likely would have starved to death, I was in a party of 3. Thank you kip! If I was stranded in a desert with nothing to eat or drink, you bet your ass I'd come to Kips. Kips rules glacier national park. 5 stars again and again.

"Going to the Sun" IPA - appropriately named local beer that you must try!

Loved this bar! It's on the Blackfeet Reservation. Pool table. Lots of locals. Friendly and relaxed vibe. The bartender was lovely - she looked like Stevie Nicks (she said everyone there calls her gypsy, which is just perfect) - and she powered up her iPhone and played us all music since the jukebox was broken. There was nothing else open in town (we went off season) so we ate here. It's great for what it is, which is simply divey bar food: greasy fries and fried shrimp. It hit the spot. I'd definitely go back. Try the local "Going to the Sun" IPA!

Quick service, and a bison pastrami just like my Jewish grandmother in Wyoming would have made if there were Jewish grandmothers in Wyoming.

I was glad a fellow Yelper mentioned this place was next to the Exxon... definitely helped since there are a couple other bars nearby. The first night (yes, went here two nights in a row!) had salad and small pizza and my ds had wings. Second night they were slammed and decided to only serve pizza. The service was adequate... they brought us the food and drinks ordered. The pizzas are really good and hand made... we spoke with the woman who throws each pie dough by hand. Both pizzas over two nights were delicious. My salad was pretty good too since it was nice leafy greens lettuce (not iceberg). There are a couple of tvs showing the main sports of the day... in our case we watched a bit of FIFA football (soccer). The AC fan was blowing into the middle of the restaurant and couldn't get away from the cold air.

The restaurant stays busy -- there was a bit of a wait, but this is a busy national park, and anywhere you go at rush is going to have a wait. The servers were fantastic, and all helped each other out. The pizza was amazing. The dough is home-made every morning, and is neither too thin nor too thick. We got a half cheese, half ground beef 12" and it fed two hungry adults. I only wish we had tried this place before our last day! Note: this is not the same as the wood fire pizza building next door.

Great Food Indoor and outdoor seating…read moreIncredible beer menu We made a stop here late in the day for some food and we were shocked how FANTASTIC the food was. Rarely do you find a spot that has great beer and great food, but Backslope does both But if you read my reviews, you know I like to steer you through the menu, at least what we tried. Foreman's Stout - full bodied, delicious. Ginger/Lemonade - refreshing, sooooo GOOD. House Fries - sliced as chips, but so good. Hummus - great consistency, but needed some citrus to finish it off. Still good, but I am picky about hummus. Tzatziki sauce - incredible, delicious, get this. Pecan Salad with Chicken - HOLY SMOKES, my wife loved this dish. She made me come back another time just so she vould have it again. Gyro Platter - light on the chicken, but really delicious. It was enough for two or more meals. Gyro - so full I could not fit it into my mouth. But enough for two. Really great find,

Easily the best burger of our trip. The fries and fry sauce were also great, and the beer selection was solid. My husband especially liked the Leiwand beer, while I loved the ginger lemonade. We came back a second time and split the fish and chips. They were also very good, although the burger was still our favorite. Definitely worth a stop, and clearly worth a return visit.

Their drinks were delicious and used mostly local Minnesota ingredients As an Arizona native, I can say their nachos stacked up with some of the best. The burgers were great size with super fresh toppings. The fries were some of the best I ever had- perfectly crisp exterior with delightfully fluffy interior and were seasoned to the max without being over-salted. The homemade pickles were mild and still crisp, and even my pickle hater friends enjoyed theirs. To end everything off, we ordered a whole huckleberry-peach pie. They don't sell whole pies typically so they offered us one of their pie baking tins if we were to bring it back. Sadly, we won't be in town past the morning, so we had to decline, but they boxed up our pie in pieces and we left on our merry way. We definitely could have taken them up on their offer for the tin though as we have already eaten the whole pie and would gladly drive back to drop it off and get some more!
