The beer I had from this brewery was the Ross Creek Red. This was an enjoyable beer and one that was refreshing with it's subtle flavor characteristics of maltiness and a touch of smokiness. A little bit rich but still light bodied this was nice, well made beer with a very good balance to it! Glad to have managed to have tried this brewery and if you are passing through Libby and have craft beer on your mind then this is a worthy stop to make!

To get there, though, you have to trash the suspension of your vehicle via the dirt driveway that had potholes big enough to swallow any of the local moose population. This is a four-wheel, off-road ride kind of entrance. Despite that, the ramshackle building still looked like fun in the way a dive can be fun. As I walked in, I was assaulted by the smell of stale cigarettes. Uh-Oh. There's no smoking inside any more, but years of being a smoking establishment leaves that smell permeating everything. I suppose once the party starts, and the place is busy, and I've had enough to drink, I wouldn't notice. The menu is limited, and on Tuesday's it's an all you can eat taco buffet and you can have anything you want as long as it's a taco; but I wasn't there on a Tuesday and wanted the burger the local recommended. The burger was okay, cooked the way I asked, but not worth the wait -- at least 30 minutes -- even when there were no more than six customers in the entire place and only two of us who were there to eat, not drink. The bartender probably figured out our tip wouldn't include bottomless alcohol and didn't spend much time with customer service -- evidenced by bringing out the orders of some to-go customers who came in after us and ordered after us. Aside from the bartender, the other patrons were funny, recognizing me as an outsider and dishing out the requisite insults. They are now meeting at another restaurant. We went there for dinner tonight and I specifically asked about an item on the menu that sounds amazing with some unique ingredients for a Caesar salad. I had ordered it before and when it was delivered it was not at all as described on the menu. So this time I asked for clarification as to the ingredients and was assured it would be made as stated on the menu. Well- it arrived just as before only worse. The lettuce was brown and wilted and the special ingredients weren't there. When I mentioned it to the waitress she argued with me saying they were in it. One of the ingredients is cilantro - not something that you can miss. There wasn't any at all- not one sprig. We asked for lemon for our water 3 times and didn't get it for 30 minutes. My daughter asked for more water - they took her glass and never came back. They were not busy at all tonight while we were there and there were at least waitresses. It's really unfortunate in that this is a small town and we don't have many restaurants to choose from.
