I can't express my gratitude enough for this company. Today, we had an electrical short that started burning in my daughters bedroom. I had made a previous appointment for next week. The outlet started melting and sparks were coming out. I called and talked to Ashley and she said to call the fire department and she would try and get someone over as quickly as possible. Fire department came and capped off outlet and said it would've started a fire within hours. Seth, came over within 30 minutes and replace outlet and tested others. I had a major issue with flickering lights that transitioned to intermittent power in parts of my house. I called Seth and he came by to do a initial assessment of the problem. Well, it turned out that I needed a new fuse box because the salt air had caused major corrosion plus it being 20+ years old did not help. Seth kept us informed on what was needed and how the process worked. The only pain in the butt (PITB) was waiting for PG&E to come to our house to disconnect the power. So far I've done a couple of processes with Seth (and his team where applicable) but I have been nothing but impressed. I've done an estimate of work, as well as an inspection of the existing electrical. We hired them through Angie's List to put a ceiling fan in our bathroom. The fan went into the tiled ceiling of the shower and was a much more difficult job than they had anticipated. I never write bad reviews, but Switched didn't work for me. They charged me a lot and didn't fix the problem. Maybe the problem isn't obvious, but when I called them to tell them what's going on, they have never called me back. My job was expensive and I'd at least like the courtesy of a call back. I guess they have the $s so don't care. Also, there were two follow-up items they have never gotten back to me about and they didn't call me about those either. Just not ok. read more

We just moved offices an had to breakdown our cubicle units in order for the move. Seth was a pleasure to work with! All around nice guy, very easy to work with and very responsive to all questions. He installed 4 led recessed lights, various dimmer switches, a track lighting system and a couple gfci eletrical outlets for me. He came out to do a free estimate for installing recessed lights in my newly bought condo. We talked about various lighting options and he wrote up several itemized estimates for me so that I could work within my budget. He also talked me through how he was going to do the installation and the city permit process as well. Seth made some great recommendations about layout and bulb options. He answered all my calls and answered all my newbie questions even before choosing him as my electrician. Once I had a plan that I liked, we set a day for him to complete the recessed lighting. He arrived early (7:45am) and started work immediately. He sectioned off the work area with plastic tarp on the floor and hung several layers from the ceiling too, so that the ceiling drywall dust wouldn't spread to the rest of room. He completed the entire recessed lighting installation a little early and cleaned up everything before I came home. We inspected the work together and he explained everything that was done, As a nice bonus, he had marked all the ceiling drywall cutouts around the lights so that I could quickly identify the right ones when re-installing the drywall. It was all quick and painless. Seth also came back a few days later to install a track lighting system. He even threw in a set of replacement bulbs because he could get them at a discount.. He also met the city inspector for all the electrical work. The full permitting process was also included in the estimate. It was taken care of without any issues.
