She is friendly, really listens to her patients, goes out of her way to avoid prescribing medication when any physical, herbal, or other solution is available. Many of my friends, colleagues, and various people I have met are patients of Dr. Spalding's and they all have rave reviews too! I have heard tons of horror stories (not all were actually HORROR stories but you know what I mean, bad/rude/annoying experiences) from people about their doctors, never have I heard one about her; and since I am already a patient I don't have to worry about trying to get on her new patient list- I've heard she's booked solid! But if you are looking for a new family doc for yourself or your family, trust me that she is definitely worth giving a call- and if need be, a wait! Dr. Eaton, another doctor in that office, is also fabulous- if Dr. Spalding's patient roster is indeed full, you would be just as smart to try and get on Dr. Eaton (also a female).

Wait times are kept to a minimum with their quality receptionist and medical biller; the cancellation policy ensures that there are not a lot of last minute cancellations. New patients may always expect a wait to get to schedule their first appointment. I recommend Julie or Josh. I am so impressed with Joshua Feller (P.A.) that I think he could probably manage his own practice as an MD if he ever chose to become one. There is an old adage that rings true for me here: doctors may prescribe but the nurses do all the real work! Similarly the P.A.'s here are top notch and get the leg work done efficiently.

Seems to be quite a bit of turnover at this location, as this will be the 3rd provider I have seen in the last 6 years that is no longer at DeWitt. If you are looking for consistency of care, keep that in mind. Also, they have extremely high wait times. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes prior, and I typically end up waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time. Be prepared to waste 1 hour waiting. Not sure that other offices do better, but something to be aware of when scheduling.

In the mist of all these series life changes I had a fall, they never put in a referral to a specialist and said it wasn't broken. which it most certainly was, resulting in surgery. They also never submitted any of the documentation I provided needed for my ins company so that I was dropped. all while I was going through Chemo. They are horribly understaffed and beyond rude. I hope anyone who is considering this practice values their health, because they sure do not! "makes a lot of sense for a medical practice?" The Manager is beyond rude and violates Hippa on several levels. when you need to make an appointment the receptionists will actually decide for you if they think its necessary, after at least a 45 min wait. I am currently going through legal action because of the complications they have brought to my health. (One of my other doctors also told me that his daughter sees Dr. T, which definitely seemed like a good recommendation!) Dr. T is great with my son. He takes a nice, middle-of-the-road approach, I think -- not too laid-back and not too paranoid. He's always very friendly and approachable, and never makes me feel rushed. More importantly, he never makes me feel silly when I have any kind of question, no matter how trivial. He's been very cool about several of our parenting choices, like not circumcising our son and electing to delay or skip certain vaccines. (I know not all of the doctors in the office feel that way about vaccinations -- Dr. Israel definitely seems to take a stronger pro-vax approach.) We've never felt pressured or talked down to by Dr. T about any of these issues. The office is also great. I never have a long wait, and they can always get my little guy in when he's sick. The nurses and the ladies at the front desk are all wonderful. In addition, the waiting room is great -- my son just LOVES the fish tanks!
