Growing up in Portland, after going to a club or a show or a Blazer game your choices of finding something late night to eat was limited to Taco Bell, Hot Cake House, Montage...and if you were with all your guy friends, the Acrop. I'm sure you all know by now, but the owners of the Acrop also own a cattle ranch, and are able to cut the middlemen out and offer you a fantastic steak or steak bites fresh from their ranch at rock bottom prices. Is this place going to beat out any steak at a proper steakhouse? No. Is it going to beat out a lot of the lower priced steaks at chains or pubs? You're damn right it will. Real ones know that you can call ahead or go around back and order from the pickup window. If you wanna eat on the go...steak bites are the way to do it...or if you wanna be a little more classy you can just get the standard steak special, and try to cut through that steak with plasticware lol.
