We went for Stripparaoke and got there around 10:30pm. Parking wasn't great but I got lucky and got a spot on the street just in time. It was $5 cash to get in the door. The bouncer was super friendly and I felt comfortable immediately. We went to the bar and ordered food and drinks - I got a water and chicken strips, which may be insane at a strip club but I was starving and looking forward to some food. We got a table up front and watched the dancers and karaoke singers. It was a good time! The dancers are all very talented and incredibly strong. Dancing is definitely an art and a sport and these girls are all so so talented. They played well to the music and the crowd and interacted well with the people at the stage. The KJ was great at his job and encouraged lots of tips for the girls, which they absolutely deserved. The food took a bit to come out but was worth it. You don't think about food when you think of a strip club, but the chicken strips were great. They seemed housemade which surprised me! They were so good and hit the spot. They were also only $8 and came with fries, which is SO cheap. It was shocking and I loved it! The crowd was very well-behaved and respectful. They tipped well and I never felt unsafe around anyone. I was worried about gross men but everyone seemed fine. They had security wandering around making sure nobody was acting up which I think helped. There are basic rules, which seem obvious but may help anyone else who hasn't been to a strip club before: no touching the dancers unless they explicitly ask, no using your phone when dancers are out, if you sing you are expected to tip your dancer at least a dollar, and if you're at the stage you are expected to tip at least a dollar per dancer per song. Again, all obvious, but there's always someone who won't know. All in all this is a great club and was a great first time for me. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time and would certainly go back in the future. It is also incredibly affordable and is a great way to hang out with friends!

At first I didn't agree that 205 is not compliant with the PDX stripper strike, but after talking to the manager personally I felt understood and informed about their reasoning. I do know the work is being done on BLM internally and in their own personal way. Cute black girls are being hired, their voices are being heard, group hugs are given, dialogues are opened, flexibility is being shown by management when sensitivity and space are needed and where other clubs ramp up fees and prices for dancers to selfishly get back on their feet from quarantine damages, 205 suspended floor fees for a week! I have been to strip clubs around the world (Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Thailand, Guam, Australia, Japan) And this is by far my favorite. They had a killer drink special. $2 shot of Jim beam $2.50 Jack n coke $1.50 pints of Pabst 50 cent games of pool And strippers. Recently stopped back in. 20 years later. The building is still purple. The drink special gone, I blame the economy. But they still got good drinks. They still got a pool table. They got the usual video poker machines. They still got strippers. They have new ownership, and they are making improvements. The bartender was on point, serving up drinks and breaking 20's into singles. The dancers are actually great performers and not just shoe clappers doing the bare minimum for the set. Still a 10/10 and worth stopping in.

I've called the place and nobody answers goes to voicemail and still nobody coming to the door, but yet there are people talking and laughing inside. Not sure what's happening but the open sign is still on and the lights are all on. Really sucks I never get to Portland and both times I've been here and tried to go have been a fail. I'd probably at least given the place a 2 but I need to be able to get in and experience it before I can make that judgement. Poor business practices. In addition the woman who was working had a terrible attitude, says the arcade closes earlier than the store but yet the hours listed are 2:00, she gets smart with me and says everyone knows it closes earlier, I replay saying I'm not from here and she says that's not my problem. Such a lazy arrogant employee, says that she's the only one there, which may be true but either change the listed hours for the arcade online, or hire an employee that can follow the rules and close at 2:00, then clean up. Cutting corners is never the way to have a successful business and this location is reflective of corners being cut, I mean guaranteed this place makes more money on the arcade than anything else so why take your number one money maker away an hour before closing?!! I'll never go back to this place so long as that woman works there and these business practices are like this. Beyond angry right now.
