I can tell you that finding a chiropractor that is not only thorough but WELL educated on a pregnant body, is like finding a needle in the haystack. Dr. Anderson is fantastic and does not rush you, which is a common experience with chiropractors that I didn't realize I was so blind to. He also takes notes, which is something I've never seen before. I was 36 weeks pregnant with a breech baby and trying to get baby to flip, I started really research different methods to turn the baby to avoid a manual version from my doctor. I had a 20% chance that the baby would turn head down, so at this point I was desperate and praying for a miracle. I did 3 sessions in one week and it was confirmed today that my baby had flipped. I am so grateful to Dr. Anderson for helping with this and to his wife for getting me squeezed into the very small timeframe I had available to make this work.

I went in today with a whole host of complaints, some of which have been around for years, others not so long, but nevertheless many pain points that have impacted my life negatively. Dina was awesome. Such a sweetheart and so personable. We had a long conversation and she's one of those people that you can talk to like you've known them for years. Dr. Anderson was able to diagnose many areas where I was misaligned contributing to some severe pain all throughout my body, but primarily in my neck. He was able to do a hip adjustment in an area that another chiropractor tried to work on for months with no success. There were also many areas where I didn't know I had issues but it makes perfect sense now given how everything is interconnected. I've been to several chiropractors in the past but none have been this thorough. I can't wait for more sessions. I confidently feel that I am on my way to having my pain alleviated, possibly permanently!

I tried a few…read moreother "hands off" style chiropractors who put me on therapy beds, vibrating massage tables, etc without any effect.. Then I visited Dr.Symes, who is an actual hands-ON style chiropractor. It can be really difficult to "loosen up" enough to trust a person you're seeing for the first time to really get busy and make serious spinal adjustments. It's a bit frightening and even a bit painful. I'll say one thing through - I could hardly walk going in, but when I came out, I could tell that I was improved. All the other chiropractors were too afraid to make actual adjustments, but Dr. Symes was not. As bad as my injury was, Dr.Symes kept me able to stay in my job long enough that I didn't wind up homeless. I finally got workers comp to give me the necessary surgery in 2009. I would still be seeing Dr.Symes regularly if I hadn't had a spinal fusion - but now my spine is fused and no longer adjustable. As an aside, I'd always had problems with my neck. While treating my lower back, Dr.Symes always "treated the entire spine" top to bottom. No amount of chiropractic treatment will cure ruptured discs... But the treatments I received kept me going long enough to pay off my home and make it to retirement. But the bonus is that I wound up getting a lifetime of neck pain basically cured in the process. Honestly, I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. A lot of people may complain the Dr.Symes doesn't practice in a fancy office or employ a staff of secretaries. Medical procedures are expensive because of so many factors outside of the treatment itself. Dr.Symes wasn't born into wealth and knows how difficult it can be for people needing quality care to obtain it. As such, he's making every effort not to price people out who don't have care plans that cover such services. When you treat with a medical provider for over two decades, you get to know them on more of a personal level. I can say that I honestly know Dr. Symes cares for his patients and does everything that he can to provide the best care at the lowest possible price. He's not the kind of doctor who milks a patient's medical benefits and does everything he can to bring the patient relief in the shortest amount of time possible. At the risk of sounding like some kind of "fanboi", I trust this doctor more than any other doctor I've received care from. But if a "fancy atmosphere" is your measure of what makes a good doctor (instead of actual results), then you should probably see someone else. Otherwise, I'd be willing to bet that most patients will begin to experience relief in the first few visits. What do you really have to lose except your suffering?

The first session he spent an hour with me, so I thought that it would be pretty reasonable to spend $750 for 10 sessions. However, each session after that was only 20 minutes long. On top of that, it felt like a big sales push. Initially, I was told that I needed the 10 sessions to get through my frozen shoulder issues, so I purchased that (this is not a small sum of money for me). Then after the 10 sessions, it became clear that this was not going to be nearly enough and that I would need many more sessions to make any progress. I bowed out at that point. I just felt the price for the service wasn't justified for the results I was getting. And lastly, I have to mention that the person at the front desk I had to deal with did not really have good people skills. I wish she had been a bit more welcoming. Instead, I felt like I was always standing or sitting in the wrong place in the waiting room or being an inconvenience to her.

It is a very small clinic but there were a large number of patients when I went, so the clinic was noisy and tight. Maybe it was just for this day? In term of care: - Dot tests were fast and efficient -- Highly recommend for commercial drivers/truckers - Staff members were super fun, sweet, and professional --------- -MacKenzie was sociable and shared stories. She was quite humorous. I like her. I feel if I had spoken with her more, I might be convinced to practice Bikram yoga someday. -The person who did blood pressure check for me, I did not get her name but she was considerate, playful and also fun. The tests she conducted with me were interactive, especially the whispers for the hearing test. -Dr. Gurwinder was professional and friendly. I needed a splinter for my wrists to sleep with every night and he sold it to me for catalog price because my insurance wouldn't cover it. I wouldn't mind paying him a little extra for it anyway because he is an awesome chiropractor, but I think it's great that he cares about his patients and tries to facilitate things for us.
