A few years ago, I injured my back by bending and twisting down abruptly (without weight or load) and could not work for a few days and would have pain and spasms for weeks. I eventually tried massage therapy, which only offered temporary relief, before being introduced to Dr. Sahota, whom introduced me to chiropractic care. Chiropractic care focuses on a drug-free approach along with spine manipulation, traction, and core balancing and strength training. I would see him three times a week, where he would adjust my spine, apply traction and use other tools / machines to loosen and maintain movement in my lower back, shoulders and neck. He would then have me perform core balance and training exercises that he would also have me practice at home. He would educate me on the the spine and muscles as well as what good habits to practice to prevent further deterioration. Seeing Dr. Sahota has absolutely been life-changing and I am stronger, stand up straighter, and more pain-free than I have been in years. These guys are perfect. I blew my back out about five (5) years ago (1 herniation and 2 bulged disks). I was told I would need surgery. I reached out to Synapse Chiropractic because I was 37 weeks pregnant and my baby was breech. We had already been through an ECV / version procedure at the hospital a few days earlier, without success, and had been scheduled for a C-Section. My doula recommended reaching out to Synapse because they were trained in the Webster Technique, and are part of her birth collective. I had never heard of it before, but thought I'd definitely like to give it a try. So the next day, I called Synapse and they got me in right away. Dr. Sahota aligned my hips and pelvis & round ligaments (and adjusted my spine too, which helped with some of my back pain).
