Yelp has a great feature that helps you find a businesses to help with certain needs. I created a project request on Yelp and was expecting to get a response in the morning when shops are open. To my surprise Quick Auto Glass responded to me within 10 mins. They gave me an estimate and the time of their business hours. They open at 8am and I arrived at 8:30. There was only one guy at the shop and he spoke little English but immediately got on the phone and told his partner I was there and gave him my vehicle information. He then told me "window on way" and he started vacuuming up the broken glass and doing the prep work. About an hour later his partner arrived with my window and with the prep work done he was able to install the window in about 10 mins. I was charged the estimated price I was given, plus tax of course. My only complaint is when I got home and was looking over everything I noticed a good amount of glass still under my seat. I have learned that whenever if ever I chose to deal with Safelite again, I will definitely chose to have the tech come to my house instead of me going to the shop I'm not sure if the shop was overwhelmed and I had learned that there was no manager at that particular shop, things had gotten somewhat out of hand. Customers were yelling at the techs in which the customer told us to check out windshield before we drove off- I failed to do so. Thanks to Patrick having come to my home after having made MANY phone calls- even to the general store manager and almost to the VP- it was about to go there! Now my car looks presentable again! Do not make…read morea "drop off appointment", they will wait till they do all the other appointments and then do yours. Every time I have had an appointment they had to keep my vehicle overnight. Every time they attempted to calibrate the windshield it failed. Leaving me with filthy window and vehicle. You cannot call the location, you can only call the 1-800 number for assistance that is also useless. After working on the vehicle on three different occasions they now claim they can't calibrate the windshield because the truck is lifted!! The truck is stock and never has anyone express that the height of the vehicle could be an issue. They are very poor at any communication, full of excuses as to why they can't do the work in a timely, professional manner. They made me sign a waiver so I could drive the vehicle while the safety features are not working because they couldn't complete the job and told me to go else where to the dealer to get the windshield calibrated. While I've been at the Bingle location, multiple people walking in with issues of workmanship and problems with their service. Do yourself a favor and only go to the dealer to get a windshield repaired or replaced....this company's customer service is terrible and this location is so unprofessional and do terrible, messy work that leaves your vehicle un-operable.
