Drops went in at 3:55 and the Doc didn't return for a half hour, after saying she'd be back in 15-20. I made the appt at 3:00 with another meeting at 4:30 figuring never in life would an eye exam take longer than an hour, let alone 90 minutes. Maybe my expectations are a bit too high. Who knows?

Dr. Nick is great--super down-to-earth, personable, and always up for a good chat before he tries to stump me with the "which one looks better?" test. (I swear, sometimes I think it's a trick lol.) I came in and the staff took my information and had me sit and wait for my exam. It was a very short wait and I was brought back to the see the doctor. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old, so I've had a lot of eye exams. Never mind how many. This one was probably the most thorough I have ever had. Dr. Holifield really did an incredible job of checking out my vision and my eyes in general. He also recommended some eye drops for me, and his staff managed to get a prescription that was normally over $800 for free. Great job! I picked out my new glasses (you can see them in the photo), and while they are not the exact frames I wanted, they'll do. It was a bit pricey, but I have vision insurance so that covered part of it. When I got home I had a notice in the mail that my employer had changed to a new vision insurance carrier. I immediately called the office to apologize and give them the new information, only to find that they had already found it and had billed the correct insurance. That is truly excellent customer service. They told me it would take up to two weeks for the new glasses, which was fine, but it turns out, they were ready in six days. I picked them up and I'm wearing them right now. And I can see, so I guess the visit was a success. And I have a new eye doctor.

I decided to order a pair of prescription sunglasses. I hadn't thought I needed them before, but I recently started having trouble seeing signs from far away, so this felt like the perfect solution. I brought in my prescription, and Alana took care of everything seamlessly. My glasses should arrive in the mail within two weeks, and I can't wait to see clearly again!

I recently purchased a new pair of glasses since my prescription changed. I thought I could replace…read morethe lens in my old pair that I got from here but was told that they don't do that. I thought it was strange until someone told us that they don't want you to be without your glasses while you're waiting for the new ones. Now that makes perfect sense. They do offer a discount on your new frames. I had to keep coming back to get my new frames adjusted (three times). Initially they felt fine, but a couple of hours later, they were either poking into my head behind my ear or sliding down my nose. I guess the third time was the charm because they seem to be fine now. Knock on wood, lol. They're really good about making sure that you're happy with your glasses and that they fit fine. The only negative I would say (which has nothing to do with their service) is finding a parking spot since the parking lot behind them is under construction. We try to get here when they first open so that we can just park out front.

Service was often unprofessional, turnaround times were excessive (over six weeks for lens replacement), and recent interactions became unnecessarily argumentative after payment was accepted. Due to repeated issues and lack of improvement, we will not be returning.
