So my friend who paid for them after I ordered them called up once to let them know the order was wrong. She don't drive and I had just taken a narcotic for my neck so I was unable to go back up. She hates anyone one her sandwich so that was a waste. Then I went to open mine up after pill kicked in couple minutes later and my ketchup and cheese only had tarter sauce. Which would not mean much to people but I had stomach surgery and mayo with cheese and grease at once would have given dumping syndrome. I couldn't even wipe it off them sandwiches was so mess. So told her to call back and tell them both was wrong. Know my mom has been in Restaurant business for of 42 years. That if I didn't they would have said you should have told us that when it happened. I them got a phone call little over 1 hour later telling me that I could only get 30% off my order because I ordered wrong. I didn't by no means I. English order wrong. She said unless I specify I don't want what comes on them. The stuff still comes on. Well I have been ordering there since they open. And they have messed up NUMEROUS of our orders. And have in past given us 2 gift cards for mistakes they did for not putting it in computer right. And she goes to proceed to tell me they never give out gift receipts or refunds. That there was strike 2. I did specify what I wanted. I didn't say I want on it cheese ketchup and what you put on it. And a plain fish and what you put on it. But somewhere I. The owners mind. She says I ordered wrong. She is nuts. And yes I was I severe pain had to wait 25 min and longer because when I went to pick them up her husband and the young girl that works there was In the back somewhere so never heard me come in waiting seems like forever before she came out. They was dead. And she said she didn't know I was out there because the door buzzard didn't work. Personally I don't leave the front of our family business open unattended but to each there own. And will be taking both phone records along with having her the last years log book for gift recipes he requested by the JP. And her husband and worker that day there as well. They didn't realize when talked to her worker on the phone to speaking to her for her husband another conflict of lie came up. So I am requesting video of that day too and if she don't. Well will not really not help her case. I am taking her to court. It is not over the dam 18.00. Like I said I am not new in Restaurant area. She lies about no refunds or gift certificates. One of the things I miss the most is the home cooked meals I would look forward to. Recently, those meals are far and few in between. On a recent trip my brother and I had decided to give this place a try. He had been here before, but this would be my first time. We ventured over and walked in. There wasn't much of a crowd and we were seated with menus in hand in no time. I did a once over of the menu quickly and spotted meatloaf. I don't know what it is about meatloaf on a menu, but I have to give it a try each and every time I see it. Our server was quick to take our order and we were just now going to wait until things started to arrive. I looked around the space as we waited and took it in. This place really does give off a small town vibe with the decor. My brother told me that the space is bigger when they use the other dining room as well. With it being not so busy, they had no need to use that part of the space. Unlike the one reviewer that said they get hit with a smell when they come in here, the only smell I got hit with was the food being prepared. We both started off with a side salad. It was a decent size, but I did have to pick through it a bit as there was some undesirable pieces of lettuce floating in the salad. They give you ample salad dressing so you can go all in or add as you go. Wasn't anything special, lettuce, tomato, onion and your dressing. Nice way to start off the meal. Then the main dish arrived. Like I said, I went with the meatloaf which came with two sides and a roll. For my sides I went with mashed potatoes and my choice of vegetable, corn. The choice of vegetable varies on what they have that day. You could tell that there were some shortcuts taken on some of the plate, but not the meatloaf. With gravy over the meatloaf and mashed potatoes it was the way to go. The meatloaf was seasoned nicely, it was overpowered by peppers or onions, it was just right. I did the Pennsylvania thing in me with the mashed potatoes and corn. I would take a glob of the potatoes and stick it in the corn to eat it. Not sure if anyone else does this, but I find it easier and sometimes the combination is spot on. The addition of the sweet corn to the potatoes gives is a buttery taste. While we were noshing away at our meal we got a bacon cheeseburger with fries to go for my Dad waiting at home. They cooked it at just the right time. As we were finishing up the meal I saw them placing the to go order near the counter. Almost perfect timing. Paying was easy and we headed out for the night.

Case in point was watching the stream of people coming in to pick up order after order. There was also a constant stream for people coming in to grab some alcohol. We opted to eat in house instead of having to be tortured by the smell of fresh pizza the ride home. The pizza comes out fresh right to your table and then you get to dig in. Don't be too greedy and start chowing it down or you might end up with some fire breathing. You have the option to grab some toppings that you didn't have baked into the pizza. There is garlic powder, grated parm, hot sauce, and crushed red pepper. The crust was the perfect thickness. Not too thin, not too thick, perfect to hole up to the amount of toppings on the pizza. The pepperoni was a bit deceiving to the eye. It just looked like it was melded with the cheese. However, when you had that pepperoni in your mouth it had that crunchiness that somehow makes it taste better. Somehow it can melt on your tongue as well. Needless to say, my family and I had no challenge to down two pizzas. Much better than waiting to eat at home, and much better going home with a full belly.
