After grocery shopping at Food-4-Less my wife and I were very hungry there's lots good restaurants around Bell Gardens. Then I saw a good of friend of mine plus Yelper he told me there's a good Mexican restaurant serve food food and amazing I told him really. The restaurant is couple blocks away it's called T & A Taco No 2 then him told me don't go to fast and U turn on the light and the restaurant is on the left side before ,you make a u turn. I listen and we found parking that's an other question we found parking on the street close to restaurant. We got to the restaurant before it close,we sat at a table and then the waitress can hand us the menu and then got our drink order my wife got a chiimango drink and I got a Mexican Coke Cola. We were ready to order my wife got carne asada burrito plate and myself got two chili renello plate. The waitress brought us our meal I say wow the plates are big I mean the potions. My chili rebellion looks so good and very cheesy the way I like it very. The renello was incredible good cheesy and the Chile wasn't spicy but it have a smoke flavor that was good. The sauce was so delicious and rice and beans they very good including the side salad. My wife enjoy her burrito she enjoy it. The service was incredible good in the waitress she was wonderful. My friend was right the food and were good we will come back again try the breakfast l heard breakfast is really good.

Stopping in for a simple order and the cashier was so rude. First made me wait while she kid and laughed with some guy. 10 minutes later asked me what I wanted then turned and walked away to get drinks for other people who had been waiting as well. Sad service. Love the other T & A in Cudahy much much better.

Hmm I wonder what T & A really stands for. A big group of us decided to venture out and check out this Mexican restaurant in Bell Gardens. Heard about it through a friend of a friend. The restaurant is next to a meat market and there are bars on the windows. Their parking lot has 3 spots. We parked in the market parking lot. You seat yourself and wait for the waiter to take your order. Their table menu's are in Spanish. No Espanol? That's OK. There is a large menu posted on an adjacent wall in English. I ordered their enchiladas combo dish. My salad was very wet. Did they just wash the plate or the lettuce? Other than that, it had red and black chips in it, tasty but wet. The enchiladas were yummy! The chicken was tender, the sauce was good. It was a lot to eat, but I ate it all! I washed it down with a virgin Pina Colada :) I had to get dessert so I ordered a chocolate flan. I love love chocolate flan! I can't wait to make some. haha.

They have a good selection, but not too impressed with the fajitas I ordered. The chicken used for fajitas did not seem to be lean chicken breast, but still tasty. Food presentation was great, but the quality in meat is lacking. Small cozy place with great salsa and chips.

This place is the best to come along on any day of the week I love the weekend tho Menudo & Pozole for wake up breakfast (Mexican Hispanic ppl feel me on this one lol) Has good waters to choose from Jamica, Horchata, etc. And they taste freshly made all the time have order one. This place for me hooked that's why I keep coming back it is a must try place

First time here and the chilaquiles were amazing. The best I have had in a long time. I would rate this place a 5, but it's not a pretty place and not clean to my standards, but my standards are extremely high, when it comes to cleanliness. It's a hole in the wall kinda place but the food is very good! We will be coming back.

They don't cheap out on drinks or food, and the quality is consistently great. Portions are generous, and you get far more sides and extras here than at most Mexican restaurants in the area. The staff of ladies who work here are phenomenal--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. There is only one older gentleman I've seen be rude to customers, but aside from that single exception, the service is excellent across the board. I judge Mexican restaurants heavily based on how they make a Cadillac margarita, and this place absolutely delivers. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is perfectly cooked, plentiful, and clearly made with care. For me, this restaurant is a solid five out of five. It's one of those spots that deserves far more credit than it gets. If you're looking for quality, authenticity, and great value, it's worth a visit.

The meal started with complimentary chips served alongside both a sweet mole and a savory, tangy mole sauce. It was something I'd never experienced before, and it was incredibly delicious. I ordered the chicken enmoladas, and they were generously stuffed with chicken and smothered in rich, flavorful mole. Every bite tasted authentic, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. For dessert, our waiter recommended the plantains in tequila sauce paired with a café de olla. They were so amazing that we completely devoured the dessert before I even remembered to take a picture! As first-time visitors, my guests and I were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the authentic flavors, and the warm service. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine.

Service is attentive, the food has its charm with in-house made tortillas. It really was a hard review to write because all the elements of a great restaurant is embodied in this hidden gem. I chalk it up to ordering the wrong items. The flavors did not pop for me. Hubby opted for the chorizo and he said it was decent and he described it as "diet chorizo"--that he'd probably needed to go back to Sinaloa to capture the true essence of "real" chorizo, the way it's meant to be. The star of his meal was the in-house made flour tortillas-now that's authentic! This is/was the reason that it leaned towards a 4 star. These looked and tasted phenomenal. The aroma took me back to the times when we visited Rosarito's Puerto Nuevo, as the lady made the tortillas by hand & pressed them in the comal, ahh, good times. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with beans & potatoes. The omelette was decent with fresh bell peppers & onions but the seasoning was so mild that I requested for salt & pepper. The potatoes appeared well seasoned in color but lacked that oomph that salt & pepper couldn't fix. My apple pancakes were average. While I appreciated the strawberry compote, there was no apple or apple taste in them. To wash everything down, I had cafe de olla, that was good. The aroma of the brown sugar & cinnamon was ever present. Estrella, our server was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, she gets 5 stars for her service with a smile & hospitality. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very appealing but we wanted breakfast items. We wish we were both molé enthusiasts then perhaps we would've better appreciated & enjoyed those offerings. Both indoor & outdoor seating (front & rear), parking is free & shared with their liquor store at this corner small plaza. Beware, no restrooms available. I'm glad we gave this little shop a try.
