When I asked to cancel the transaction I was lectured on the value of their sale, the time they had wasted and the money they are now out since the gun was ordered and shipped same day. I have purchased firearms in the past from this business, ammo, targets, optics and used their gunsmithing service in the past and explained I would continue to do so. David Dentico, the owner, continues to speak in a passive aggressive manner and is very condescending, talking of operating costs of the business, the cost of the shipping and how much they are $$$ they are losing. Never going to set foot in this store again and would tell anyone to anywhere else but here.

The work was beautiful on the color of the case hardened work....however the receiver showed definite signs of having been sanded. Turnbull, when informed of this, explained that they chemically strip the factory blueing and case harden the parts...I would have "hoped" they would polish out the surface before the final case hardening.. I don't see this in my factory Marlin rifles. They did offer to refund my investment. If you are considering a purchase, you might want to ask about this issue.
